I would like to thank the officers and committee for their kind invitation to judge at this popular and well run open show. A huge thank you to all the exhibitors for bringing your dogs and braving the cold conditions. I was really spoilt for choice in the groups with some quality dogs for me to judge.
Terrier Group
Group 1.Irving’s Twinan High Regard. Went to the Jack Russell Terrier that I judged earlier, still showing his socks off, he I didn't put a foot wrong and has great ring presence.
Group 2. Sanderson’s Ch Esgia Highland Laddie VW, was the Skye Terrier. This mature lad also won the AV Terrier veteran class, beautifully presented, he carried himself so well on the move retaining his top line and tail carriage.
Group 3. Offer’s Woolytop The Phezantplukka JW, went to the liver Bedlington Terrier. Well presented linty coat, deep through the chest and correct rise over the loin with the typical mincing movement.
Group 4. Brookes’ Zetamaz Drama Queen. Went to the Smooth Fox Terrier, smart girl with feminine head, dark eyes with keen alert expression, shapely outline with good bone and substance.
Terrier Puppy Group
Group 1. Irving’s Twinan Silver Dollar went to the Jack Russell pup that I judged earlier in the day, sound and typy and shown in fit hard condition, nothing exaggerated and a real show off.
Group 2. Sanderson’s Skyeshire Briar Rose with Bremerlad, went to the beautiful Skye Terrier girl, loved her head, very feminine yet still plenty of strength with well set ears, well made throughout topped off with an immaculate coat.
Group 3. Spafford’s Dassett Oberon, was the border terrier lad, liked his size and shape, spannable with thick pelt. Pleasing otter like head and expression. Carried himself well around the ring.
Group 4. Jenkins’ Kinsridge Strawberry Moon went to the typy Norfolk Terrier, well made throughout with ample bone for her size and already well ribbed with a firm top line making a very pleasing overall picture.

1. Hall’s Muliebrity Purple Princess avec Tonerrier . Two similar size girls the winner was just using her ears a little bit better today and was more settled on the move. A well presented upstanding girl; good head and eye with a keen expression, well made in front, firm top line finishing in well developed quarters. On the move, she carried herself well in both directions with a pleasing ground covering side gait. BOB
2. Stanciu’s Airedor Diamond Princess.Once settled, and she got into her stride, she moved well in both directions and in profile. Feminine head which is nicely balanced, and keen dark almond eyes. Good front assembly with good depth of brisket, firm top line and short level back. Well presented jacket. RBOB

1.Dyson’s Bullwizz Star Attraction Tawnbarr. White girl with brindle ear and eye patches. She’s a solid girl for eight months with good bone and shown in super coat and condition. Feminine yet strong head with nice profile, very dark eyes and an excellent bite. Carries a good top line and tail carriage and stands on strong legs with tight feet. Good mover. BP and RBOB
PG (3,1abs)
1. Villensia’s Kirkville Bushido Villensia. White girl, still relatively young, who I thought was the better balanced in profile. Shapely and well made throughout. Lovely headpiece, strong yet clearly feminine, with gentle turn and finish, good bite and small dark triangular eyes giving a keen and mischievous expression. She stands on strong legs and decent feet, compact in body with strong hind quarters which she used to advantage on the move, with a lovely jaunty and free gait. Shown in super condition and the most delightful temperament. BOB
2. Bownes’ Starcinco A Million Dreams at Bownesbulls. Quite a heavyweight powerful white lad with brindle ear. Masculine head with gentle turn, dark triangular eyes, neat well set ears and good bite. Straight front, good depth to brisket and strong round bone. Firm top line and well angulated rear. Not quite as animated on the move as the winner today and I preferred her more shapely outline.
Bull Terrier (Miniature)

1. Bownes’ Bownesbulls Bab’s Best BP. Two lovely pups with super temperaments. Promising young man whose head is of good proportions, very dark triangular eyes, neat ears and gentle turn. Good neck and shoulders with a nice front assembly, firm top line finishing with a nicely angulated rear. Once he settled down, he moved around the ring with a brisk active stride BP.
2. Wilson’s Pixelited Black Emperor. Brindle and white lad, his head is of good proportions with well placed eye and neat ears, but he needs to break in head e.g. have a little more depth and fill, which will come with more maturity. Shown in lovely condition, his fore chest and body are developing, good bend of stifle. Moved well but his carrying his tail a little higher than the winner.

1. Irving’s Twinan Silver Dollar. Lovely class of pups all at different stages of development. This eye catching lad is a real showman and expertly presented which enhances his shapely profile . He was also the most mature in terms of body, coat and movement. Attractive head, and keen expression, strong muzzle and good bite. Easily spannable, good length of neck, firm top line held both standing and on the move, to a well set on tail. Scoring particularly well on the move, with confidence and style. BP
2 Smith & Lester’s Jaeva Mama Mea for Chandlimore. Just six months old so giving quite a lot away in terms of maturity compared to the winner, but what a little charmer she is. Very pretty head, with a dark eye and neat ears, nicely furnished to give an alert cheeky expression. Good length of neck, firm top line held both standing and on the move, to a well set on tail. Her body has the correct proportions, and she’s easily spannable. Hindquarters show a good bend of stifle. Moved out with confidence just needing to tighten up a little in front.
