St Helens & District Canine Society 22 February 2026 Thank you to exhibitors accepting me at the last minute as a replacement judge for Lhasa Apso’s Puppy 2 entries ( 1 Absentee ) 1, Ferguson, Mr R, Kelkenso Kelsow Lassie, 9 month old cream bitch, very well balanced for her age. Ideal head size, medium stop, dark eyes, really good dentition and correct reverse scissor bite. Well arched neck, well ribbed, strong loin, level top line. She has a high set tail, good angulation. Her coat was well presented. She covered the ground, with good reach and drive. Best Puppy in Breed. Junior no entries Post graduate no entries Open 2 entries ( 1 Absentee) 1, Crook and Hall, Mrs S & Mrs MD, CH Shenedene Kiss My Pix Sell With Charjilliam, 3 year old cream bitch. Loved her overall appearance and balance. She has a lovely head, medium dark oval eyes, skull moderately narrow, straight foreface, medium stop, great head proportions. Enough length of neck to well laid shoulders. She had a good spring of rib, level top line, which she maintained on the move and when free standing. She moved cleanly around the ring. BOB. French Bulldogs Puppy 1 Entry 1, Howarth, Miss J, Gizyjo Honey Moon, Fawn Pied 11 month old bitch, she had a lovely square head, dark moderate size eyes, clean undershot bite, medium size ears. Coby body, with broad chest, enough bone, small compact feet. Well muscled, moved cleanly. Best Puppy in Breed, and later third in Utility Puppy grp under Emily Hadlow. Junior 1 Entry ( 1 absentee) Post Graduate no entries Open 1 Entry 1, Burgess , Miss L, Rurubulz’s French Master, sturdy compact, solid brindle dog. Liked his overall balance in head and body, enough length of leg. Square head, dark eyes, medium sized ears, ideal in rib, had that slight narrowness, strong loin. Moved well. BOB Bulldog Puppy 2 entries ( 1 absentee) 1, Saafan, Ms M, Geovanic Fiery Zest, 11 month old red bitch, ideal head size, dark eyes, correct set, high set ears, jaws broad, deep chest, straight bone, medium sized tidy feet. Well ribbed, good tuck up, well muscled, slight bend of hock, moved ok. Best Puppy in Breed Junior 0 Entries Post Graduate 1 entry 1, Saafan, Ms M, Geovanic Cupid Queen JW, 2 year old red and white bitch. Liked her head, dark eye, short muzzle, excellent pigment. Broad chest, deep brisket, good rib cage, ideal amount of bone. Moved well. Open 3 entries, what a class,Thank you 1, Baker, Mr M & Mrs J, Smoochabull Cyrus The Viruss Into Pacolito, 15 month old, white and brindle dog. He was so balanced in head, body and leg. He is powerfully built, broad, square head, cheeks well rounded, wide set eyes, dark in colour. High set ears, jaws broad, strong neck, to deep shoulder. Broad chest, good tuck up, good bone, tidy feet of medium sized ears. Moved with typical bulldog gait, loved him on the move, so sound. BOB and fourth in a strong Utility grp under Ms Emily Hadlow. 2, Sharkey, Mrs M, Penksides Dexta Daps Among Maxibulz, red and white dog with lots to like, dark correct set eyes, good pigment, he had a depth of chest, ideal rib, good bone. Moved well. Preferred overall balance of the winner 3, Saafan, Ms M, Geovanic Cupids Arrow JW Chow Chow Puppy 2 entries ( 1 absentee) 1, Mitchell, Miss C, Wolfgang Sunny Pearl, 8 month cream bitch. She presents a compact shape, ideal head shape, flat skull, clean eyes, muzzle moderate in length, strong jaws, correct scissor bite. Strong neck, broad chest, well sprung ribs, good bone, small round feet. Presented in good coat, moved ok. Her young handler just needs to work out the ideal pace to get the best out of her on the move. Best Puppy in Breed. Junior 1 entries 1, Foy, Miss A M, Shulian Saskia Star To Ramannire, 16 month old, red bitch. Full of personality, lovely head, eye, ear and correct bite. Nose, large and open, dark pigment.
