Plymouth & District Kennel Association – Saturday 4th April 2026 Working Group – Substituted Judge Tracey Anscombe Thank you to all the exhibitors for accepting me as a substitute judge when your appointed judge had to withdraw. I found it a thoroughly enjoyable assignment with a good mix of quality across the breeds, and several exhibits of real merit. Temperaments were excellent throughout and presentation was to a consistently high standard. My thanks also go to the committee for their endurance in putting on this show in what is quite a challenging venue. A wellbalanced exhibit with correct proportions, ample bone, and good substance without coarseness. Pleasing head with good width of skull, correct stop, and strength of muzzle, giving a typical and masculine expression. Good depth of chest and sound body proportions for age. Moved steadily around the ring with purpose, maintaining his outline. A confident, mature performance from a dog very much at one with his handler.
