I would like to thank Kent County Canine Association for my first appointment judging a breed I truly love and have been involved in for a lifetime. I'd also like to thank my steward, Russell for the day as he kept everything running perfectly for me, like a true master. Lastly, I would like to thank everyone who entered their beloved dogs under me, giving me a great entry with some truly wonderful examples of the breed.

Puppy D/B (4,1)

1st Mrs J Gee, JADOREMY LION OF JUDA. 7 month old black and white D.This young man gives a well built balanced outline on the stand, he has a wonderful head and expression with large round eyes, a good lower jaw with plenty of width with a slight tilt to his nose. He has good ribs and length of loin, his tail set is correct which completes the picture. On the move, although he was a handful for his owner, today he moved with real reach and drive, keeping a good topline throughout. BPIB was delighted to see him win the utility puppy Group.

2nd Miss S Galliford, SASSYSHI UPSTAIRS AT ERICS. 7 months old gold and white D. of a good size, a little bit high on the rear today but im sure that will settle with time, another one with a good head with large round eyes set well with a nice wide jaw, he has a good neck and head carriage leading in to good ribs with a nice tail set. On the move he did not move with the confidence of one but has good rear drive once a little more settled, im sure these two will swap places as they grow up.

Junior D/B (6,1)

1st Ms J M Beer MIRACEY HOLLY BERRY JW. 14 months old Gold and white B. This young lady headed up a large class from the moment she entered the ring she was giving her all saying “look at me.” She has the most pretty expression with a lovely eye with a nice tilt to her nose with a nice jaw with a good mouth. She has a good neck with a good lay of shoulder. On the move she has a lovely free flowing action put down in great condition. I would prefer a little more lift to her tail. 

2nd Mrs J GEE JADOREMY SPIRIT LEAD ME.7 months old black and white B. litter mate to my puppy class winner a little higher on leg than him but gave a good overall shape and moved well with a very pretty face and a good mouth.

Post Graduate (3,1)

1st Mrs V N Wiles MIDDLETUNE CHANTILLY LACE. 3 ½ old B. Solid gold a little smaller overall but everything in proportion and perfectly balanced she had a great head with a good mouth with plenty of width of jaw, lovely large eyes well set. A good neck leading into a well built body with good ribs and a lovely tailset. On the move I would prefer a bit more drive and enthusiasm.

1st Miss S Galliford & Mrs S Keree-Bartolo SASSYSHI CAKE BY THE OCEAN WITH SHIRKEIRA JW. 3 year old B. gold, brindle and white on first glance this young lady has a true shih tzu shape with no exaggeration her breed type and balance shone through at all times . She had the sweetest of faces with well set large eyes with a great chin and good width to her jaw with a lovely mouth. Her well arched neck leads into great shoulders, good bone and great tail set on the move. She moves with real reach and drive, showing full pads. Was a delight. Happy to award her Best Of Breed 

2nd Mrs C Stevensons SHENLEYVALE FIFTY SHADES OF ORANGE JW 21 months old D. Gold with black mask on the stand he gives a great silhouette, he has a great head piece with a lovely mouth. On the move he tends to lose his head carriage at times which really let him down today. Moved better in the challenge and claimed RBOB.
