Judge Ms T Forsey (Muzoku).
Thank you to the committee for the invitation to judge at this show in such a beautiful part of the Country. I want to say a heartfelt thank you to all of the exhibitors who braved the weather and stuck it out when it was almost impossible to bear. Kudos to each and every one of you. The Working Group sticking out to the very end despite the horrendous conditions where the ground was so chewed up we had to use 3 different rings. The quality of dogs was excellent and I was pleased to have such a quality group and some fabulous Pastoral Breeds to put forward to the Group.

1.GRACIE’S MOURNEBRAKE DEAR PRUDENCE AT CELEBROS (B)
This bitch won on substance and maturity. Head proportions were correct and had a slight dome to skull. Pendant ears with long hair. Well muscled neck. Moderate anglulation Good feet and well set and carried tail. Moved slightly better than 2 despite the horrendous ground Very happy and lively disposition. Mature cords Sound mover. RBOB
2.RATHBAND & FEALY’S MOURNEBRAKE HIDDEN AGENDA WITH KEYNELL JW (B)
I preferred the head on this bitch which was very pretty and well balanced with a better eye shape and expression Not as mature as 1 with still time to mature Cords well defined and well presented despite the weather Well laid shoulder and elbows tight. Slight tuck up, well bent stifle and nice feet. I think the weather unsettled her a little and her handler struggled to find a rhythm with her due to the boggy conditions, but overall a really nice exhibit.

1.COLLINS’ CRIMLISK ROMANEE CONTI (D)
This young male just had it all for me. He’s one of those dogs that leave a lasting impression and nothing is better than following a dog that has left such an impression to see him continue to go from strength to strength in the ring.
I loved his head and expression Just so well balanced, with an alert expression Dark eye, good furrow large square skull with well filled cheeks. Beautiful black mask contrasting with his coat Broad nose and under jaw and widely spread nostrils Excellent pigment.Ears folded forward and set well being wide and high and size in balance with head retaining square appearance.
Moderate well arched neck. Chest broad and deep with good brisket and well sloping shoulder which was muscular. Back short straight and strong in stand and on the move. Well boned straight legs.
Well arched feet. Muscular loin with muscular well toned rear. Hocks straight from behind. High set tail. Short coat of correct texture. He has plenty of power and purpose and he is one of the truest moving Bullmastiffs I’ve judged He was just a little over enthusiastic in the challenge as we were outside in the dreadful weather and soggy ring so was awarded BPIB However later in the day he bought his A game and was awarded WPG1 I just had to stay and watch him in Best Puppy in Show where I thought he put in a faultless performance in the indoor ring and was awarded RBPIS Congratulations!
