Dachshund (Smooth Haired)

G D/B (7,2) 1. Rycroft & Rycroft’s Raajput’s Dancer Divaa With Trisensara JW, A high-quality black and tan bitch of lovely type and balance. She possesses a clean, elegant head that tapers uniformly to the muzzle, with a dark, almond-shaped eye and strong jaws housing a perfect scissor bite. She excels in her elegant length of neck, which is proudly carried and flows smoothly into a well-laid-back shoulder assembly with a good length of upper arm. Correct front assembly with short forelegs wrapping neatly around a deep, prominent forechest. Well-ribbed back with a strong, level topline. Hindquarters are well-angulated with strong, parallel, and upright hocks. Covered in an excellent short, dense, and smooth coat. She moved beautifully, showing great freedom, true tracking, and absolute soundness on the move. RBOB & Best Reserve BOB in the Hound Group. 

2. Ashby's Rayol Pumpkin Pie At Jaxinorydax, An attractive, well-balanced black and tan dog. He displays a clean silhouette with a fair layback of shoulder, a satisfactory return of upper arm, and a correct depth of chest. He excels in his substance, showing a good width of body and a strong, muscular frame throughout. Topline remains firm and level both standing and on the move. Hindquarters feature strong, upright hocks that provided plenty of rear drive. Moved out well with a steady, fluent, and active gait. 

O D/B (4) 1. Rycroft & Rycroft’s Jacksondax Hornet Hurrah At Trisensara JW ShCEx OSWs, A high-quality black and tan dog displaying beautiful symmetry and superb overall balance. Long, elegant neck flows cleanly into an excellent shoulder placement with a correct return of upper arm. Front assembly is well-set with a prominent forechest. He excels in body properties, being well-ribbed back to a short, firm loin. He maintains an exemplary level topline both standing and, on the move, with a correctly placed stern carried in line with the back. Displays the ideal ground clearance required for a standard smooth—low to the ground but retaining great freedom of agility. Standing on tight, well-padded feet with strong, parallel, and upright hocks. Moved out with fantastic front extension and powerful rear drive. Pleased to award him Best of Breed (BOB).

2. Rycroft & Rycroft’s Chidax Sahara Sand By Trisensara JW, A lovely, elegant red bitch of exquisite feminine type who pushed the class winner incredibly hard. Features a beautifully refined head, dark almond eyes, and a sweet, typical expression. Jaws are strong with a perfect, complete scissor bite. She shows excellent construction with a well-laid shoulder and a correct front assembly. Deep chest with an admirable spring of rib. Topline is strong and level, complemented by a correct tail set and carriage. Hindquarters are well-muscled with strong, parallel hocks. Moved out with style, reach, and precision.
