Plymouth & District KA Premier Open Show on 4th April 2026 held at The Grange Equestrian Centre Oakhampton. 

Poodle (Toy)

PG. (2,1) 1, Elson’s Stoneside Bryan Ferry At Jomarnelli, A smart, beautifully balanced apricot dog of 5 years old. Head is long and fine with a slight peak and a moderate stop. He possesses dark, well-chiselled, oval-shaped almond eyes that convey a wonderfully alert expression. Ears are well set, hanging close to the face. He carries himself with a proud, good length of neck leading into a well-laid-back shoulder assembly. Clean front with a strong, level topline. Though he is currently pushing the upper limits of the Kennel Club Toy height standard, his sound, light, and free-flowing movement could not be ignored. He showed himself to high advantage. Reserve Best of Breed. 

O D/B (2,1) Mayou Howe’s Afterglow Nutmeg, A beautiful 2-year-old brown bitch who is exquisitely feminine and well within the preferred size limits. Presented in immaculate, correct show condition to highlight her excellent texture of coat. Her head is long, fine, and perfectly in proportion to her body size. Jaws are strong with a perfect, complete scissor bite. Dark almond eyes are well set to create a classic, dignified Poodle expression. She displays an ideal square outline with superb balance throughout. Angulation is correctly matched front and rear, anchoring a firm, level topline and a high-set tail that she carried proudly on the move. She covered the ground effortlessly with an elegant, driving gait. Best of Breed

Poodle (Standard)

G D/B (1) Elson’s Volgarus Make A Choice At Jomarnelli, Black, A high-quality, black feminine bitch of excellent balance and type. Head is refined and chiselled with flat cheekbones. Features a dark, almond-shaped eye and a perfect scissor bite. Forequarters are strong, showing correct, oblique shoulder placement and a good length of upper arm. Her balanced angulation pairs beautifully with a strong, level topline. Tail is set high and carried happily away from the body, reflecting true breed confidence. She moved with the characteristic proud carriage, light step, and effortless reach required of a true working utility hound. Best of Breed.

Poodle (Miniature) 

1, Hosking’s Tarquas High Jinx An attractive 4-year-old brown bitch displaying wonderful feminine refinement. Superb overall balance and structure, sitting comfortably within the Kennel Club Miniature height limit. Head is fine and cleanly chiselled with a dark, expressive almond eye and a correct bite. Forequarters show excellent shoulder placement and a well-proportioned upper arm. She excels in her body properties, showing an ideal depth of chest and a good spring of rib. Well-ribbed back to a short, firm loin. Stern is high-set and carried correctly. She moved with clear agility and an active, free gait. Best of Breed
