Collie (Rough)

P D/B (6, 1 abs) 1st. Radford-House & Durrant’s Fivejays Sparkle Sapphire. A feminine blue merle bitch making her debut performance at her first show. I thought she possessed the best overall shape and balance in the class today. Beautifully clean, wedge-shaped head displaying a lovely, sweet expression. Eyes are correctly obliquely set, paired with nicely carried ears. Correct scissor bite. Good length of neck leading into a well-laid shoulder and corresponding upper arm, keeping her elbows cleanly held in. Nice straight forelegs with a good depth and spring of chest for her age. She moved out exceptionally well, remaining totally sound while holding her correct outline and tail carriage on the move. Delighted to award her Best Puppy.

2nd. Cooper’s Kelekona Pearls of Hope. An 8-month-old sable and white bitch of a lovely shape and balance. Pleasing head with a correct, wedge-shaped skull, typical eye, and a sound scissor bite. Displays a good ear set and carriage, which she used well. Nice overall outline and proportions. Moved out well with a true and steady stride. 3. Walker’s Aldredelie Ancient Ruins.

SY (1) 1st. Gatt’s Wicani Bella Donna For Bearven. A tricolour bitch of lovely shape, size, and exemplary overall balance. Refined, feminine wedge-shaped head with a correctly obliquely set dark eye, giving the hallmark sweet expression. Good ear placement and carriage. Elegant length of neck leading into beautifully well-laid shoulders and a complementary upper arm, creating a very correct front assembly. Desirable depth and spring of rib. Firm topline showing the correct slight rise over the loin, finishing with a well-set tail carried ideally just below the level of the back. Standing on strong, straight hocks, she moved exceptionally well and soundly, demonstrating an effortless stride with great reach and drive. Delighted to award her BOB.

L D/B (5, 1 abs) 1st. Radford-House & Durrant’s Kiss Me Kate Di Cambiano At Fiveways (Imp ITA). A sable and white bitch of nice size, remaining beautifully feminine throughout. She possesses a lovely shape and balance, complemented by a very correct front assembly, a firm topline, and ideal tail carriage. Clean, wedge-shaped head with correctly obliquely set dark eyes, giving a typical sweet expression. Correct scissor bite and an excellent ear set and carriage, which she used to advantage. Moved out well with a smooth and true gait.

2. Barnesmore’s Aqualita Magical Winter. A feminine sable and white bitch. Although standing a fraction larger than the winner, she possesses a nice overall shape and outline. Good head with typical, expressive eyes, well-set ears, and a correct scissor bite. Moved out well with a true and steady stride.

3. Gatt’s Imaginist Superior Sun With Bearven.

1. Cooper’s Corydon Agatha Cristal With Kelekona. A feminine tricolour bitch presenting a lovely overall shape and balance. She possesses a clean, well-proportioned head with a sweet eye and a correct scissor bite. Her ears are well set and used to enhance her typical expression. She displays a good reach of neck leading into a well-laid front and a firm topline, showing the desired slight rise over the loin. Rear quarters are well angulated with a nice tail set and correct carriage. She moved soundly, displaying great style and grace. RBOB.

Harvey & Gatt’s Classic Scots Patrick Swayze (Imp DEU) A blue merle dog of a pleasing colour, possessing a pretty head, sweet eye, correct scissor bite, and a good ear set. He maintains a level topline. While he moved reasonably well, he did not possess the overall conformation or balance of the class winner. Additionally, he lacks the desired low tail set and carried his tail too high on the move. But enjoyed his time in the ring.
