Show 1 Judges Critique - Sue Webber (Sunsante)

First of all I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge at their Open show and a big thank you to the exhibitors who brought their beautiful Pekingese for me to judge. It was a lovely welcoming show with a great atmosphere.

Baby Puppy Dog (3)

1. Klerks-Delucchi’s KLERKSOF JUMPING JACK FLASH 5 month old red B/M. Lovely shallow head, excellent body shape, short and cobby, good spring of ribs, very good bone, in good coat and fringes. A most promising puppy and should have a bright future. BBP.

2. Simpson’s SHANTALLAH FIRE STARTER 5 month old grey brindle B/M. Good head, good spring of ribs and good bone, in lovely coat and fringes.

1. Strano’s SHANTALLAH WHOOPS A DAISY almost 6 months old red B/M. Very sound and very well constructed with a beautiful shallow head. Although very stubbon and not wanting to walk she couldn’t be denied her first place.

2. Slojewska’s EDGWAREBURY EMBER 5month old black. Another very nice baby puppy, well put together, short and cobby, good bone. Moved well.

1. Morley & Hitchcock’s LIZLANMOR BRUNO FERNANDES almost 9 months old, silver fawn B/M. Lovely shallow head,short body shape with excellent spring of ribs, very good bone. Moved very well. A really lovely puppy with a bright future.Very pleased to award him a well deserved BPD, BD & RBIS

1. Voke’s BELLABLAKE GOLDEN CROWN 11 month fawn ,B/M. Full of substance, well constructed, excellent bone good ribs , lovely head, in lovely coat and fringing Moved well. RBD

1. Morley & Hitchcock’s LIZLANMOR MARY ROSE almost 9 month old red B/M. Litter sister to MPD winner, short shapley body, good spring of ribs, lovely head, moved very well.

2. Klerks-Delucchi’s KLERKSOF A MILLION DREAMS 6 month old fawn B/M. Well constructed, good spring of ribs, short and shapely, lovely shallow head. Another lovely puppy.

Puppy Bitch (3)

1. Klerks-Delucchi’s JONSVILLE SENSUOUS AT KLERKSHOF (naf) 9 month old fawn B/M. Stunning girl, very well made, compact, short and shapely, lovely broad chest, excellent bone. Her head is fantastic, shallow and with the most amazing dark eyes. In lovely cost and fringing She commands your attention. I really likes this girl, she oozes quality and she should have a really bright future. I was so pleased to award her the following which she so deserved BPB, BB, BIS &BPIS.

2. Clifton’s BELLABLAKE GET LUCKY 11 month old red B/M. Another lovely girl, short and shapely, well constructed, lovely shallow head, in lovely coat and fringing, moved well.

1. Roberts’ KLERKSHOF CALYPSO QUEEN 14 month old red B/M. Well made, short , good spring of rib, good bone, lovely shallow head, in lovely coat and fringing. Moved well.

2. Mayo’s PEKEHUIS MISS CHAOS AT GASHOLL 16 month old red B/Muzzle. A lovely girl with a great body and really good bone, lovely wide chest, lovely shallow head. Just needs the coat but that will come in time.Moved very well.

Novice Bitch (2)

 1. Clifton’s LIZLANMORE QUEENIE PANINI AT CLIFCASTLE 3 year old fawn B/M. She has matured well, lovely cobby, short shape, lovely size, good ribs, good bone, lovely wide head framed by long ear fringing, in full beautiful coat. Moved well and well deserved RBB

2. Ellis’ BUDDHASKISS MEMENTO VIVERE 10 month old white sleeve. What a little cracker, and that coat is extraordinary, so massive but underneath she does have a lovely shape, and her black pigment is excellent, her eyes so jet black against the white. A typical sleeve with lots of attitude and refused to move an inch!

1. Tilsed’s MEZRAB MIRICLE SUNSHINE 13 year old red B/M bitch. Lovely body shape, lovely head, in fabulous long coat. Looks amazing and doesn’t look her age at all. Moved very well. A real credit to her owner. 

2. Oades BRENTOY MAX POWER 8 year old fawn B/M dog. Another lovely quality dog. Lovely body shape, short and cobby. Excellent bone, Lovely shallow head, moved very well.
