Saltburn & District Canine Society

Thank to the committee for their hospitality. A busy but enjoyable day made easier by my lovely steward.

Boxer G (2,1) 1. Brooks’ Kenleap Rugen 21mth male of good size but incorrect colour, being black without any brindle markings, a pleasing head slightly marred by eye showing haw. Well muscled with good angulation, moved well.BOB

Great Dane G (3,1) 1. Davies’ Kinnegans Tulsa King(Ikc) 11 mth male, well grown and muscled. Lovely head and noble expression. Good earset and level topline well developing second thigh.He was very unruly for his handler, moved well when settled but his behaviour cost him higher placing in the group. BOB Wkg Puppy G2. 2. Bartley’s Zefathers Freaky Friday a 7month female nice head but some haw to left eye which hopefully will tighten as she grows, nice angulation and level topline she found the ring a little small which affected her rear movement.

Dobermann G (2,0) 1. Weaver’s Shalissa’s Dolce An Gabanna, 6 mth mature male , well muscled, correct dentition and good earset with a proud arch of neck. Firm back with level topline. Excellent markings and expression, moved well when settled, although played up initially, he should have a promising future. BOB,Wkg Puppy Gp 4 2. Mclaren’s Teuschons Raspberry Beret 14 mth female well put together with good angulation and level topline, Just lost out on expression and earset, perhaps put off by noisy room. She moved well with better rear than front, on the slippery floor.

Rottweiler O(4,3) Featherstone’s Kenxtwen Sweet Diamond by Feathertorr 5 1/2 yr old female, small and compact, well marked with broad chest and good spring of rib. Feminine head with broad skull, well set ears and dark eye. Moved soundly. BOB

Bullmastiff G(1,0) 1. Gilhespy’s Luscinia Miss Atomic Bomb 22mth female not tall but a solid worker, positive and steady on the move. Lovely head with a tight dark eye, wide nostrils and breathes easy. Good bone on tight feet, moderate angulation as should be. A nice girl. BOB

Alaskan Malamute G(1,0) 1. Perfitt-Jones’ Samjoe’s The One And Only 8yr old female, sound and positive on the move. Lovely rapport with her young handler. Feminine head, good earset, strong neck leading to level topline in mature, profuse coat. O(2,0) 1. Perfitt’s Samjoe Shadowhunter 3yr old male good outline, with level topline. Broad skull with good earset and alert expression. Tight dark eye and correct bite. Correct angulation, strong pasterns and big tight feet. Full of bounce and enthusiastic mover BOB 2. Perfitt’s Samjoe Seelie Queen litter sister to winner, very feminine and finer throughout she struggled with the floor and would suit a bigger ring.

Dogue De Bordeaux O(1,0) 1. Barton’s Albrean Liam 18mth male with lovely head and expression, very strong bone, good front construction, correct elbows to allow for his wide chest. Good clean dark eye. Very steady and powerful on the move BOB.

Leonberger O(1,0) 1. Bell’s Cleon Canis Giganotos 3yr old male beautiful head, dark mask with tight dark eye. Substantial bone, good width of chest level topline leading to correct tailset . Tail kinked at end, he was a little proud of his tail on the move but lovely to see such a well boned sound moving dog showing great activity BOB Wkg Gp 1

Siberian Husky J(1,0) 1. Johnson’s Lupacchiotto’s Street Cred by Lupinemoon beautiful 8mth silver male dark eye and pigmentation, lovely correct angulation, topline straight and level, well pricked ears, tight feet straight front. Quick and light on his feet with good reach and drive Wkg Puppy Gp 1 . O(1,0) 1. 6 ½ year old crème bitch, finely chiselled head, good earset and medium eye colour. Correct bite, pigmentation in line with coat colour. Good angulation leading to tight feet. Lovely on the move holding a level topline. BOB

Russian Black Terrier G(3,1) 1. Kerrigan’s Kalaslane Nutty Irishman for Halaura (Ikc) 8mth male, well grown presenting a good outline, strongly built with good bone, settled into his stride the more he moved. Kept his form with good ground covering movement. Wkg Puppy Gp 3 2. ODonnell’s Kalaslane Irish Eyes at Newkiebear (Ikc) littler sister to winner. Very close decision as she was more mature with a better denser coat, but played up after a good start. Good head, bite and tight dark eye. Showed much promise, they will change places. O(1,0) 1. Ir CH Kalaslane Revenge for Neukiebear (Ikc) 8yr old female epitome of the breed excellent head, dark eye, good bite with little sign of her age. High withers from a strong neck to level topline and high set correct tail. Good bone, tight feet moved with powerful economy BOB Wkg Gp3 Best Wkg Veteran

Hovawart O(1,0) 1. Robinson Brown’s Hightimbers Oreo Cookie 3 ½ yr old obviously female, clean head, dark eye, correct bite. Free from all exaggeration a very correct and easy movement. BOB Wkg Gp 4

AVNSC PG(1,0) 1. Turrell’s Danixaris Fabulous Zee 18mth female German Pinscher, well balanced medium sized pretty girl, nice head, good bite alert expression.Level topline, maintained on the move with good tailset. She was a little jumpy today but not alone in this BOB

Working Group 1. Leonberger, 2 Newfoundland Ryan’s King of Helluland Harley Quinn for Bearnessitie 3 ½ yr old female not in full coat but good head and earset, lovely dark eye of the correct shape. Good proportions with balanced angulation. Moved freely but giving the handler a hard time which cost her the top spot. 3. Russian Black Terrier 4. Hovawart.
