1. Foley’s ÉCLAIR CERERA DE ELKA GVYBES ZYNE FOR LEYENDA (IMP LTU) Dark brindle. Compact body. Balanced head with correctly placed bat ears. Correct shape eye. Good muzzle to skull balance. Open nares. Short coupled body. Close fine coat. Moved as well as he could on challenging ground surface. BOB 

2. Young’s LEYENDAS BEDAZZLED Brindle body, not quite the body & head balance of winner, with strong muzzle with open nares. Ears set a bit high. Feet could be tighter. Okay on move. Good fine close coat. 

 CHOW CHOW GRADUATE (4/3) 

1. Hunt & Oliver’s NOWITNA CEE YOU’RE A KLASSIC AT KWANGCHOW (AI) JW Red girl with balanced head, dark oval eyes. Correct bite & pigment. Balanced body with good tail set & carriage. Well presented coat. Correct cat feet. 

 2. Featherstone’s JAYSQUARS BETE NOIRE AT FEATHERTTOR Black with typical head & well positioned neat ears. Eyes were very small & watery, Correct bite & pigment. Short coupled body. Well boned, good tail set & carriage. Coat of excellent texture, but lacking in places.

 CHOW CHOW OPEN (3/2) 

1. Hunt & Oliver’s SONGSHIJA CHIEF KWANGCHOW Red dog with super head & expression. Dark oval eye, well positioned ears. Correct bite & pigment. Well presented coat of good texture but had left some of it behind. Good cat feet. Moved steadily. BOB 

2. Thorman’s PETER PARKER AT NAMROHT Lovely head balance with okay ears, good bite & pigment, but eyes very small & watery. Super cat feet. Could be shorter coupled. Well boned & bodied. Good tail set & carriage. Well presented coat of good texture. Not as settled and did not show to his best advantage. 

 MINIATURE SCHNAUZER GRADUATE (5/2) 

1. Gavin’s VIOLACEOUS MY GIRL Pepper & salt girl . Feminine but could have had a bit more substance. Correct body proportions. Balanced head with dark oval eyes, well positioned ears & good bite. Short coupled body with correctly carried & set tail. Neat feet. Well prepared coat of excellent texture. BOB 

2. McGarrigle’s WLANIMU’S LUCK FAVOURS THE BOLD FOR IGGLEWICK (IMP UKR) Black & silver. Short coupled cobby body. Front construction a bit too upright & could have more bend of stifle. Well presented coat but lacked texture. Head not as balanced as 1. Tail well set but could be carried better. Good feet. 

 MINIATURE SCHNAUZER OPEN (2/1) 

1. Whitcombe’s ARKANGATH ZOLA BUD Balanced head with well positioned ears, correct eyes & good bite. Cobby body but not quite the required balance. Could be shorter in loin and neck could have more length. Good feet, well set & carried tail. Well presented coat of correct harsh texture. Steady on move.

1. Young’s CH CHESTERHILL OCEANS ORCA AT ANORIEN JW Beautifully present dog in excellent well presented coat of correct texture. Lovely masculine head with dark almond eye, good bite & correctly placed ears. Balanced body shape with well laid shoulders. Correct feet. Tail well set & carried. Sound & free moving. A lot to like about him. BOB 

 POODLE (STANDARD) POST GRADUATE (1/1) 

1. Burton’s HIGHLA DREAM MACHINE Exuberant boy who was a bit too much for his handlers, so not seen on the move to his best advantage. Head a little long but with good eye, ear placement & bite. Well grown black of good shape & size. Good feet. Well presented coat of good texture. Tail well set & carried. 

 POODLE (STANDARD) OPEN (2/2) 

1. Moores & Speakman’s ONYX DEMOLITION THROUGH ATARAKSIA Mature bitch that oozed quality. Beautiful head with dark almond eye, well positioned ears, correct scissor bite. Head well carried on well laid back shoulders. Short coupled body of good size. Good bend of stifle. Correct tight feet. Excellently presented coat of super texture. Sound & free moving. A great deal to like about her. BOB & G3

1. Speakman, Moores & Isherwood’s AFTERGLOW HONEY MONSTER AT SACHEMIC Super Apricot baby of correct shape & size. Lovely head balance with dark almond eye, good bite & well positioned ears. Head well carried on well angled shoulders. Short coupled body. Coat coming through very nicely. Totally balanced & free moving on challenging ground conditions & shows great promise. Definitely one to watch. BOB & PG3 

2. Youngs ANORIEN THE WICCAN Sweet black who is lacking confidence at present so did not make the best of himself. Good shape & size. Lovely head with correct shape dark eye, good bite. Well positioned ears. In good coat for age. Balanced body with tight feet & well set & carried tail. Promising youngster who will hopefully be better in a different show environment. 

 POODLE (TOY) OPEN (2/2) 

1. McAuley’s ANORIEN STOLE THE SHOW FOR BRYRON Black of correct shape & size. Sweet head with good eye, well positioned ears, correct scissor bite. Lovely body shape & size with well laid shoulders & good hind angulation. Short coupled. Beautifully presented in excellent well textured coat. He unfortunately was another who fell victim to the dreadful ground conditions and his rear movement reflected this. I hope to see him again on a different floor surface.

 GERMAN SPITZ (MITTEL) POST GRADUATE (2/2) 

1. Heslop’s FLAMUNA SUCK IT AND SEE Black of good body size. Correct size oval eye, but could be darker. Well positioned ears. Scissor bite. Balanced body. Excellent well presented coat of good texture. Moved true either end, although did not make the best of herself on the difficult ground. Well set & carried tail. Neat feet. 

2. Rogerson’s NOSREGOR FALLING IDOL Stylish black pup who had left his coat at home, but what was there was good texture. Lovely head balance. Oval dark eye, strong well positioned ears, scissor bite. Balanced body with well set & carried tail. Needs to tighten up either end on the move. BP 

 GERMAN SPITZ (MITTEL) OPEN (2/2) 

1. Rogerson’s TISPITZA’S DAMNED BY RUMOUR OF NOSREGOR Cream boy who was another who had left his coat at home, but again had good coat texture. Lovely balanced head with dark oval eye, good bite, well positioned strong ears. Head well carried on correct shape short coupled body, reasonable front & rear angulation. Moved true front & rear and free moving. BOB

1. Rogerson’s NOSREGOR GOGGA’S WORLD Rogerson’s Sweet chocolate baby with correct pigment & eye colour for coat colour. Sweet head & expression with oval eye, scissor bite & well positioned ears. Lovely shape & size body, good front & rear angulation. Well set & carried tail, good neat feet. A bit worried by environment but sound & free moving. BOB, BP & PG4  

DALMATIAN JUNIOR (4/2) 

1. Pearson’s KELEVRA TICKLE MY TROUT Super liver 6 month pup. Stylish boy with lovely outline. Correct head proportions with moderate stop. Head still developing at this age, but balanced. Correct shape & colour eye. Moderate angulation either end of well shaped body. Excellent feet, well knuckled. Head well carried on long neck. Well set & carried tail. Moved out strongly & very soundly. A lot to like. BP & PG1 

2. Hildreth-Ramm’s RUEBEDU JAMMIE DODGER Black girl. Correct shape eye but could be darker. Head balance could be better. Good scissor bite. Body shape & size good, feet okay. Tail well set & carried. Not as settled in the move as 1.

1. Pearson’s KELEVRA BEAM ME UP BISCOTTI Very smart dog of balanced shape & size. Lovely head with flat skull, well positioned ears, dark oval eye, scissor bite, moderate stop. Head well carried on good shoulders, well made body front & rear. Sound & free moving. A great deal to like about him. BOB & G4 

2. Richardson’s PORTUNES ST JIMMY AT EXAYEEX JW Liver dog. Balanced head with moderate stop, oval eye of correct colour for coat. Short coupled body with good tail set & carriage. Well spotted. Balanced boy who moved out well, unlucky to meet 1 today. 3. Vocking’s BELLEHOUD TIPPLE AT PORTUNES JW 

 DALMATIAN OPEN (3/2) 

1. Vocking’s PORTUNES WHATSERNAME JW Liver bitch. Feminine girl with flat skull, well positioned ears, oval eyes of correct colour. Scissor bite. Balanced body with reasonable angulation either end. Stylish girl with well set & carried tail, okay feet. Free moving. 

2. Pearson’s SWISS CH KELEVRA DILL OR NO DILL JW Black dog. Flat skull but a little deeper stop than ideal for head balance. Oval eye. Well positioned ears, good bite. Good body shape but a little short in upperarm, so not quite the freedom of front movement of 1. Steady on move. Carried tail a little high. 

 KEESHOND OPEN (2/2) 1. Kerr’s BARGEWAY DANCING QUEEN Very smart youngster of lovely shape & size. Super texture coat, clear at roots. Well presented. Correct wedge shaped head of correct skull/muzzle proportions, good stop, dark almond shape eye & correctly positioned ears. Body balanced with neat feet. Tail well set & carried. Well put together and sound on the move. 

 2. Kerr’s ABEL V KEES UIT DE POLDER’S (IMP NLD) Profusely coated boy in excellent condition. Balanced head with scissor bite, almond eye, well positioned ears. Good feet. Balanced & steady on the move. Just preferred the outline & overall style of 1.

1. Garland’s BURWEN BEJEWELLED Red with urajiro marking. Balanced head, small almond eye, black pigment. Scissor bite. Neat well positioned ears. Balanced standing & on the move. In good well textured coat. Neat feet. 

2. Adey’s BURWEN BLUE CORVETTE AT ECHEZEUX Red with urajiro marking. Bit rangier in type that 1. Balanced head with almond eye, black pigment, well positioned ears, scissor bite. Short coupled body. Tail well set & carried. Still growing into himself but promising youngster. 

 JAPANESE SHIBA INU OPEN (1/1) 

1. Adey’s BURWEN PINK CADILLAC AT ECHEZEAUX Red with urajiro marking. Lovely shape & size. Super oriental expression with almond eye, black pigment. Well positioned ears. Tail well set & carried. Excellent coat texture. A bit concerned by difficult ground condition, but moved steadily. BOB KOOIKERHINDJE (3/3) 

1. Caldwell’s CRUNCHCROFT RAZZLE-DAZZLE AT TAIGHMUILNE Mature orange & white boy. Balanced throughout. Lovely head with well positioned & feathered ears. Kind eye & expression. Balanced skull to muzzle, well carried head onto well laid shoulders. Balanced body with well set & carried tail. Absolutely sound & free moving. In lovely condition. BOB 

2. Caldwell’s TAIGHMUILNE ANAM CHARAID Very sweet White & Orange young bitch. Very pretty head with lovely eye, well placed ears & correct bite. Head well carried on well laid back shoulders. Balanced body and she was free moving. Considered her for BOB but she carried tail a bit high so not the desired outline.

1. Casentieri’s ZVENTA SVETANAYA PEREWINKLE (IMP RUS) Xoloitzcuintle (Mex Hairless) Miniature Black boy of correct shape & size. Sturdy body, lovely skin condition. Primitive bite. Almond eye, strong ears. Head well carried on reasonably laid back shoulders. Thin tail well set & carried. Out at elbow so front movement affected. Moved well in profile. 

 ADULT GROUP 1: Hazelhurst’s ORCAVOE ROMEO AT CORROLL Beautifully presented cream Lhasa Apso dog in excellent coat & condition. Lovely head balance with correct eye, bite & well placed ears. Head well carried on good neck going into well laid shoulders. Correct tail set & carriage. Excellent forward reach & rear drive from well angulated rear. Caught my eye when he came into the ring and did not disappoint. 

ADULT GROUP 2: Roulston’s CH IVYJEWEL CAST A SPELL JW Feminine & stylish Boston Terrier of lovely shape & size. Still very young, but with lovely head balance, dark correct shape eye, well placed ears, correct bite. Head well carried on well laid shoulders. Well set tail Sound & free moving. A lot to like. 

 PUPPY GROUP 2: Connett’s BURNSETT OBSESSION WITH ORCAVOE Very smart compact black Lhasa Apso. Sweet head & expression. Lovely body shape. Well constructed and beautifully presented in super coat for age. One to watch. 

 AV UTILITY PUPPY (7/3) 

1. Chesterfield’s BURNSETT ONYX Black Lhasa Apso baby. Attractive head well carried on good shoulders. Correct skull shape, eye & bite. Very stylish outline. Well set & carried tail. Still maturing as you would expect but sound on move. Very promising puppy. 

2. Roulston’s IVYJEWEL OCEAN BREEZE Very raw 6 month old Boston Terrier baby but pretty head developing, with good eye, ears & muzzle. Good neck length & balanced short coupled body. Needs to tighten up either end, but another very promising pup.

1. Roulston’s IVYJEWEL OCEAN KING Another 6 month old Boston Terrier baby. Square head with good eyes. Balanced short coupled body, good feet. Thoroughly enjoying himself, but once settled he moved well on challenging ring surface. Promising puppy. 

2. Connett’s ALAMIKS SINE WITH PRIDE WITH ORCAVOE Super Red Lhasa Apso with lovely head proportions. Correct eye, nose placement & bite. Excellent front & rear construction so absolutely sound & free moving. Tail well set & carried. In excellent well presented coat.

Well presented coat, but very fine.

Well balanced skull to muzzle proportions. Well laid shoulder, correct feet. Well set & carried tail. Not quite in best coat at present but a great deal to like about him. Sound & free moving.
