Thank you to the committee for my appointment, my able stewards Wayne Garrood and Cath Davies for keeping things moving and not least to the wonderful exhibitors with their dogs for supporting the entries. Presentation temperaments and handling on the day were excellent.

22 Month black male, showing good promise, broad head still maturing with well-shaped deep set dark eyes. Broad clean muzzle, clean broad muzzle, pincer bite. Good length of neck into a well-angulated front with plenty of width all though with good ribbing, excellent bone and well-padded feet. Good rear angulation with short strong hocks and firm pasterns. Moved well with good reach and plenty of rear drive holding a level topline. Good croup, tail well set & held. Super coat, presentation & handling completed the picture. Feel this lovely boy has plenty of time on his side and should finish well.

3.5 yr black bitch who presents an excellent well-balanced outline with nothing exaggerated to the eye. Good size and reasonable bone to match. Beautiful feminine head, scissor bite with a mid-brown eye, broad skull and muzzle with no excessive flew. Excellent length of upper arm, plenty of heart room & ribs extending well back into a short loin. Excellent croup & good length of tail. Excellent turn of stifle, well-muscled and really drove from short strong hocks. Extended well as she moved around the ring in style holding a level topline. 1st Blahuta’s Daybreaker’s You Give Me the Shivers (IMP POL)

This 3-yr black male really impressed as soon as he entered the ring with an air of showmanship and look at me, I’m here. Great size, good height to length ratio, Strong head, showing a nicely placed dark eye. Clean broad muzzle with just enough lip. Good ear and correct scissor bite. Good length of neck into a well-balanced front with plenty of width all though and good ribbing, excellent bone and well-padded feet. Excellent rear angulation with a muscular inner thigh, short strong hocks and firm pasterns. Moved with good reach and plenty of rear drive, although the profuse hock hair initially gave the impression of closeness at the rear on the 2nd run this was clearly not the case. Super dense coat all round which was excellently presented, super handling completed the picture. Shows considerable promise for the future as he matures on. BOB & WG2
