GREAT YARMOUTH GORLESTON AND DISTRICT CS 18 JUNE 2026 GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG P 1(0) 1. Stevens’ Surfstone Summer Solstice over Ashvens. 11½ month old bitch, good proportions, well angulated, somewhat 10 to 2 on the stand at this stage, good ground covering gait, BOB & BP. L 1(0) 1. Green’s Boscahaus Friday von Emzygem. 2 year old bitch, moderate angulation fore and aft, fair top-line, good croup but a tendency to pace on the move, shown in good condition, RBOB. HUNGRIAN PULI L 2(1) 1. Thomas’ Mournebrake Fifty Shades TAF. 3 year old male, keen dark eye, good shoulder, a little straight in stifle but a lively gait. O 2(1) 1. Hudson’s Mournebrake Also An Angel. 3 year old, nice head and good dark eye, full cream coat, well angulated fore and aft, absolutely parallel on the out and back. SHETLAND SHEEPDOG P 2(1) 1. Rennison’s Zaniah’s Chasin The Storm. Blue merle, correct flat skull, correct muzzle, good overall proportions, nice turn of stifle, good shoulder, BP. SY 2(1) 1. Taylor/Wells’ Shelridge Snowflake at Chelmermead. High set large ears, slightly round eye, skull and muzzle of equal length, correct overall length to height, good croup and tail set, somewhat lacking condition and witnessed by the flat feet but covered fair amount of ground on the move. L 3(0) 1. Rutterford’s Myter Black Tarquin at Stormhead JW. Nice overall proportions, well set ears, correct flat skull, well angulated fore and aft and took the class on his movement, shown in full coat and good condition, BOB. 2. Stock’s Shemist Fallen Angel. More compact in type, divergent head planes however correct skull to muzzle proportions, good overall balance but not the truest of tails. 3. Taylor/Wells’ Shelridge Quizmaster at Chelmermead. OD 2(0) 1. Naulls’ Wynele Final Impact. Well proportioned and balanced, high set ears, relatively obliquely set eyes, correct length of neck, good bone, correct pasterns, strong top-line, good croup, took the class on the parallel movement. 2. Hoare’s Stanydale Ocean Wave. High set ears, divergent head planes, slightly short in neck and somewhat short in tail, on the move has good reach in profile but rather wide behind on the out and back. OB 1(0) 1. Durant’s Misti Moon over Neraklee JW. High set ears, somewhat snipey muzzle, correct length to height but possesses better angulation in rear than shoulder therefore the movement not parallel on the out and back. V 4(0) 1. Fransham’s Shelcrest Starling. Classic feminine head and expression, good head properties, high set ears, good overall proportions, correct bone, absolutely sound on the move, RBOB. 2. Colman-Smith’s Kyleburn Sibylla at Shelridge. Lovely head and expression, her bite is not her fortune, good balance, somewhat wide behind on the out and back but a picture in profile. 3. Taylor/Wells’ Ch. Lafitte De Moorstile chez Shelridge (imp FRA) JW VW. WELSH CORGI (CARDIGAN) SY 1(0) 1. Down’s Elessar Eclipse The Stars JW. Feminine head and expression, excellent angulation fore and aft, strong top-line, correct croup, absolutely sound on the move, RBOB. O 2(0) Two nice Cardigans but 1 took it on the better rear angulation. 1. Down’s Elessar Blue Diamond JW. Short on coat on the day but well balanced, strong top-line, excellent shoulder and turn of stifle, covered good ground on the move, BOB. 2. Fitzpatrick-Graham’s Ch. Ancksunamun Hallows Eve JW. Large female shown in good condition, lovely head, good neck and a very good front however a touch straight in stifle. WELSH CORGI (PEMBROKE) P 1(0) 1. Down’s Creslow Down Derry Dreamer with Elessar. Very nice tri, masculine head, good reach of neck, shown in full coat and excellent condition, well angulated fore and aft, nice prospect, RBOB & BP. SY 1(0) 1. Coates’ Durrcor Luna Eclipse. Well handled and presented bitch shown in good coat and condition, nice front and shoulder but somewhat straight in stifle that restricted her movement, BOB. HOVAWART L 3(0) 1. McLure’s Hightimbers Ticket To Dream at Kanukalos. Very nice 6 year old although somewhat lacking in vim and vigour on the day, lovely head and expression, good overall balance and angulation, absolutely sound on the move, BOB. 2. McLure’s Pines Mansion at Kanukalos. A nice youngster, good head, strong top-line, correct croup, covered good ground in profile, untidy on the out and back. 3. Christopherson’s Hightimbers Ticket To Evita. O 2(0) 1. Hemsworth’s Hightimbers Travel Tickets Nov Ex. Correct head proportions and good overall balance, strong top-line and nice croup, tail set and tail carriage and in need of some more condition but a nice example of the breed, RBOB. 2. McLure’s Kanukalos Burletta VW (AI). An 11 year old bitch in beautiful condition, correct bone, good substance, a little 10 to 2 on the stand but an absolute credit to the breed. PORTUGUESE WATER DOG P 3(1) Just preferred the rear angulation of 1, 2 nice puppies but both very well handled and presented. 1. Williams/Newton’s Rarjo The Cross of Macduff. Good head and expression, strong top-line, good bone, correct feet, easy ground covering gait, RBOB & BP. 2. Hart/Harris’ Ankors Athabasca at Violaceae. Nice head and expression, not quite the turn of stifle of 1 and also somewhat flat footed on the day but moved with fair stride and parallel on the out and back. SY 3(1) 1. Williams/Kudo/Kiyoi’s Rarjo Thistle Macduff. Good head properties, correct bone, good coat and condition, balanced angulation, correct feet and pasterns, good ground covering gait. 2. Crisp’s Rarjo Harlequin. A youngster who has a strong head, correct coat but at this stage untidy on the out and back although enthusiastic and ground covering in profile. O 1(0) 1. Slack/Newton/Williams’ Ch. Rarjo Macduff Making Waves with Megulcie JW. Very nice 2½ year old bitch, appealing head and expression, good dark eye, excellent angulation and consequently good ground covering gait, nice example of the breed, BOB. WHIPPET P 5(1) 1. Morland/Soffe’s Zoraden Meant To Beaver. A very nice bitch, lovely feminine head, excellent angulation, feet well under withers, good bone, correct pasterns, fit feet, nice underline, absolutely sound on the move, RBOB & BP. 2. Cooper’s Ballauren’s Diamond. Stands well in profile but angulation not quite that of 1 but nevertheless a nice prospect. 3. Reece’s Velandor Illuminada over Saleehah. SY 5(2) 1. Pye’s Lolani Under The Influence of Perromono. Lovely bitch, absolutely clean in profile, good underline, correct croup, nice tail set, good bone, correct feet and pasterns. 2. Cooper’s Ballauren’s You Got It. Nice shape of skull, correct bone, good top-line and easy ground covering gait. 3. Hunter’s Katiesue’s Attraction at Salatini. L 5(2) 1. Wilson’s Boughton Busy Lizzie for Hamiltonhill. Took the class on her parallel ground covering gait, nice head and expression, good depth of chest, correct bone, correct feet and pasterns. 2. Le’vell’s Lolani Glamourous in Satin at Velandor. Another nice bitch but she moved a little wide in front on the out and back on the day, that apart a nice example of the breed. 3. Cooper’s Ballauren’s You Got It. O 5(3) Morland’s Zoraden Master Baker JW. A very nice male, good head proportions, nice reach of neck, good top-line, correct underline, good croup, tail set and carriage, a very nice example of the breed, BOB. Cooper’s Crosscop Im Alwayz Yours at Ballauren JW. Attractive female, compact in type, moderate shoulder, good turn of stifle, quick light footed gait. V 4(1) Pye’s Blusteren Midnight Ink at Perromono. 9 year old veteran bitch, correct head proportions, balanced and with a strong top-line, easy light footed gait. AVNSC HOUND P 1(0) 1. Howie/Avery/Miller’s Quiet Creeks Limelight at Millvery for Marksbury (imp USA). A lovely Bloodhound, charming head and expression, good reach of neck, strong top-line, excellent bone, absolutely sound parallel ground covering gait, very good prospect, RBOB & BP. L 3(1) 1. Hills’ Rangali Anna with Shimmeree. Basset Fauve de Bretagne. Charming youngster with a delightful head and expression, excellent shoulders, strong top-line, an easy ground covering gait, BOB. 2. Hills’ Rangali Gretel at Shimmeree. Basset Fauve de Bretagne. 4 year old, not quite the angulation of 1 but good head shown in good coat and good condition. AV IMPORTED BREED REGISTER HOUND SY 1(0) 1. Whitlam/Barber’s Cunninghams Buena Vista at Pokitaru. 13 month Black and Tan Coonhound, lovely feminine head and expression, correct ear set, good shoulder, level top-line, correct bone, good feet and pasterns, easy ground covering gait, very nice prospect, BAVIMP. HOUND GROUP G1​Morland’s Zoraden Master Baker JW. Whippet. G2​Watkinson’s Logetta Boom and Bust. Dachshund (MSH). Very nice example of the breed, correct overall proportions, good ground clearance, nice conical shape of head, quick ground covering gait, absolutely parallel when viewed on the out and back. G3​Curtis’ Multi Ch. Stormwitch Magic Melody. Portuguese Podengo. A lovely example of the breed, keen alert expression, good overall balance and moved to advantage. G4​Hill’s Rangeli Anna with Shimmeree. Basset Fauve de Bretagne. A very nice youngster shown in good coat and condition, lovely head and expression, good reach of neck, excellent shoulder, strong top-line, good prospect. PBGV. 10+ years old, good head proportions, absolutely parallel throughout, nice ground covering gait, a good example of the breed. 2. Taylor/Willliams’ Aventine Dolcetto. Dachshund (WH). 8 years old, good head, nice reach of neck, good overall proportions, good ground clearance, impressive in profile, just a little untidy on the out and back. P 6(4) 1. Cooper’s Ballauren’s Diamond. Whippet. Repeat. 2. Taylor/Williams’ Bulldaxit’s Armani My Way. Dachshund (SH). Lovely head and expression, good overall proportions, good ground clearance however on moving away has a tendency to flick his hocks which detracts significantly in terms of his movement. J 4(3) 1. McLean’s Lauralee Dreams of Magic at Stookewood. Basset Hound. Very nice junior shown in excellent condition, lovely feminine head, well angulated fore and aft and absolutely sound ground covering gait. O 2(1) 1. Wells’ Selinko Stargazer. Whippet. Repeat. ANY VARIETY MP 18(12) 1. Gould’s Merdelaines Tirmenta. Lovely youngster, excellent angulation and typical head and expression, good prospect. 2. Beckson’s Wlanimu’s Prosperity Path NAF TAF. Miniature Schnauzer. Well handled and presented puppy, excellent structure and moved with a parallel ground covering gait. 3. Watts’ Oakmarsh Mischief Maker. Retriever (Chesapeake Bay). AV SPECIAL BEGINNERS DOG 20(13) 1. Chaplain’s Aescwine Cor Blimey. Swedish Vallhund. 18 month old male, powerful throughout and absolutely sound on the move. 2. Parmee’s Everblack Enjoying Life. Retriever (Flat Coated). 3. Hutton’s Piccorino Portatore D’amore. Bracco Italiano. AV SPECIAL BEGINNERS BITCH 30(23) 1. Haywood’s Leyenda’s Bonnie Gold. French Bulldog. Good head and expression, correct underjaw, powerful throughout, moving to advantage and coping well in the heat of the day. 2. McQuade’s Maddouse Dimonds R’forever. Retriever (Flat Coated). 3. Coates’ Durrcor Luna Eclipse. Welsh Corgi (Pembroke). OPEN STAKES 1. Benton’s Ch. Blamorder Double or Quits of Oakestelle JW. Collie (Smooth). A lovely example of this breed I have judged before, classic head, good overall balance and proportions and absolutely sound on the move. 2. Simmons’ Chepam Queen of Swords. Bouvier Des Flandres. Another dog that I have had the pleasure of judging on previous occasions, powerful throughout, lovely head, good shoulders, correct bone, excellent drive in profile and absolutely sound on the out and back, very nice example of the breed.
