Thank you to the committee for the invitation to judge at this friendly, well run show and to my wonderful stewards, John and Steve who kept the ring running smoothly and efficiently. A fantastic entry numerically, there were several absentees but I was still faced with some tough decisions and some quality dogs to go over.
Labradors
Puppy
1st Flocktons Dylsonleigh Aurora 10 month old yellow bitch of super type & quality. A picture of balance. Skull is broad, well set ears. Neck clean and muscular, into well placed shoulders. Good width across the front with great depth of brisket with good spring of rib. Excellent quality bone. Level topline with width across the loin. Super rear angulation. Neatest of round feet. Moved with a positive, free stride, really covered the ground well. BP & BOB. Delighted she went onto win the Gundog Puppy Group and ultimately Best Puppy In Show.
2nd Pattinsons Dylsonleigh Titan for Pattilands. Another really promising youngster, many of the above comments apply and I later discovered they are litter mates. He is the masculine version of his sister. Really well put together, loved his head and expression. On the day, he was just not as settled on the move but still an impressive young prospect.

1st Brays Mariank First Lady of Suttonpark yellow bitch. Very feminine head with good pigmentation. Pleasing eye. Level topline, has good depth of chest with good spring of rib. Well developed hindquarters with good width of second thigh. Moved soundly.
2nd Barons Landebec Villanelle Yellow with good balance throughout. Reasonable front angulation, elbows close to the body. Wide over the loin and short coupled, pleasing rear quarters. Just needed a bit more drive on the move.

1st Barons Landebec Ventura JW. Masculine yellow but not overdone in any way. Pleasing head with good width to skull, excellent eye and expression. Presents a balanced outline, good bone with neat feet. Moved with a positive ground covering stride. RBOB

1st Cross & Parfett Tollpepper Dawns Light Smart young bitch of 9 months. Compact and balanced throughout. Alert expression. She has good depth throughout with good bend of stifle. In excellent condition. Movement was positive and clean with good drive from the rear. BP
2nd Rice Tiamaria Bella Rosa. Another promising youngster with good breed type. Feminine head and expression. Just a shade smaller than 1but still well proportioned. Good reach of neck with excellent shoulder placement. Not as forward going as 1.
3rd Coedhelyg Good I Son Junior

1st Coedhelyg Good I Son. A well made youngster, strong in outline with coat of excellent colour and texture. Good quality bone, forelegs straight and elbows close to the body. Just needs more confidence and to settle on the move.

1st Surralls Danehaven Freshwater Well put together bitch, compact and of medium size. Feminine throughout. Shoulder well laid, ribs well sprung. Excellent rear angulation, with good width of second thigh. Well set tail. Moved out really well.
2nd Rice Tiamaria Juniper Berry. Pleasing bitch with quality head. Good depth of body with well sprung rib, just a little longer in loin that 1. Moved well on a good stride.

1st Burgess Redmanhey's Comte De La Fere. Super class headed by a quality male. What a cracking outline he has. Medim sized with good proportions. Level topline. Your hands really do flow over him, excellent depth throughout. Well laid shoulder with good return of upper arm. Elbows close to body. Strong over the loin. Good turn of stifle. Really cover the ground well, plenty if power and drive. BOB
2nd Gough Cretshengan Kitchi Lake (ai) Another realy well made Toller. Just preferred the front of 1 but still had depth throughout. Super wedge shaped head, keen expression. Correctly placed ears. Again, moved out well on a jaunty stride. RBOB

1st Woods Jurgapearls Arabella. Black & Tan bitch. Pleasing 18 month old. Liked her head proportions with correct skull to muzzle ratio. Expressive, round eye giving good expression. Neck blends smoothly into resonable shoulders. She has good depth of chest with an excellent spring of rib. Correct slightly sloping topline, which she holds on the move. Tail is well set. Moves well, just needs a little more co ordination which will come with maturity. RBOB

1st Fryers Dreamcast Elysium at Carolco. Black and white bitch. What a little cracker! Couldn’t wait to get my hands on her when she entered the ring, she did not disappoint. In sparkling coat of correct texture. The most feminine head, deep and square with plush foreface. Elegant, well muscled neck into well placed front. Compact feet. Good depth of chest. Strong, correct topline, short coupled. Rear is well angulated with decent muscle tone. Moves with purpose and drive. BOB, shortlisted in the group.

1st Pearmans Weipowa Shaken Not Stirred to Britmans Shapely young male who was very balanced and together for his age. He has excellent quality bone with super depth throughout. Classic head which was well proportioned. Neck clean cut which blends well into well angulated front. Level topline. Moderate tuck up, strong across the loin. Really covers the ground well on the move.BP
2nd Pilatovas Sabsky Spilberk. Medium size. Feminine throughout and has enough depth of body, ribs well back. Elbows held close to the body. Just loosing her topline today. Moved well.
3rd Jennings Wallaroo Red Dwarf

1st Longbottoms Gunalt Wingman. Masculine youngster who took a little time to settle. Super head proportions, well set ears. Good quality bone. Textbook front with good spring of rib. Moderate tuck up. Well angulated rear, well set tail. Moves with power and drive. He still needs to mature obviously but I’m sure he has a bright future ahead. BOB

1st Hawkins Schonhund Show at The Oscars. Headstrong youngster who does himself no favours by not co operating with his handler at times. Large frame and masculine. He is well proportioned with good depth of body and forechest. Good quality bone. Good turn of stifle. Just needs to settle on the move.
2nd Pilatova Sabsky Sasanka typical in head and outline. Very balanced throughout but not the depth in body of 1. Well developed rear end. Moved ok.

1st Pilatova Sabsky Svratka JW Very feminine in outline with pleasing head and expression. Moderately long neck which blends into well placed shoulder. Super forechest, Level topline. Tail well set and well carried. Moved really well with a long, ground covering stride. RBOB
2nd Bott Allen & Morgan Gunalt Conversation with Allenie. A quality bitch who is well made and well put together. Pleasing head proportions. Unfortunately she was not relaxed and happy when stacked and it certainly affected her movement today.
