It was a great honour to be invited to judge Cardigan Welsh Corgi Association Club Show, and to be invited to judge the Centenary Show is a bigger honour. I had a warm welcome and thanks to the exhibitors for there sportsmanship. The floor was covered with a plastic sheeting which caught a few out. I found all were clean and well groomed and had sound temperaments through-out. The atmosphere was friendly and I really appreciated the applause for the winners all very sportsmanlike. Remember you always take home the best dog.

Junior Dog (2), 1 Smith, Mrs. T., Ancksunamun Host Of Goa’ulde with Yecartracey: A 14mth old b/w dog. Very pleasing type and out-line. Neat head and neck, firm back which was held well on the move. Liked his tail carriage, moved well around the ring.

2 Irving, Miss T., Twinan True Grit: A 16mth old b/w dog another pleasing dog with a nice out-line and type. Well balanced head, excellent neck and excellent back. Neat rear, not quite so smooth on the move on the day.

Yearling Dog (1), 1 Irving, Miss T., Twinan True Grit: As before.

Graduate Dog (3,0), 1 Anderson & Thomas, Ms. J. & Mr. J., Tamlin Hill Billy Rock (AI): A 20mth old b/w. A good size dog, with a pleasing out-line and type. Very pleasing head and ear carriage. Strong neck, good back, good back-end and tail set. Very smart.

2 Smith, Mrs. T., Ancksunamun Host Of Goa’ulde with Yecartracey: As before.

3 Irving, Miss T., Twinan True Grit: As before.

Post Graduate Dog (1), 1 Smith, Mrs. T., Ancksunamun Host Of Goa’ulde with Yecartracey: As before.

Limit Dog (1), 1 Fox, Miss J., Gowerston Granville: A 3yr old blue merle. I liked him a lot. He stood making a lovely picture. Being well balanced through-out. Neat head and ear carriage. Good length of neck. Excellent top-line, good back end. Excellent tail set and tail and moved smoothly about the ring. Pleased to award him Best Dog and later Best of Sex. Well done.

Open Dog (2), 1 Fricker, Miss F., Ch. Kerman Pitch the Ball: A 3yr old b/w. Best mover in this class. Good head and ear carriage. Good length of neck, good back end and tail set. A worthy champion of excellent type and outline. Very nice.

2 Essenhigh & Bishop, Mr. B.J. & Mr. H.D., Ch. Ceranda Gower Charmer at Brynlluan: A 4.5yr old red, with the most appealing head. I could have quite easily have taken him home. He is super dog and worthy champion. A proper character. Just did not want to do what the handler wanted. Brilliant entertainment though.

Veteran Dog (3), 1 Frosdick, Miss K., Ch. Mistycor Apollo Back to Black for Kalwig (Imp Rus): A 7yr old red brindle. Best mover in this class. He is of excellent type and out-line. Nicely balanced through-out. Neat head and ear set. Good neck and back. Neat rear and tail. Pleased to award him Res. Best Dog and Best Veteran Dog.

2 Thornton & Thornton, Mrs. A. & Mr. T., Wildcard Bandit: A 10yr old b/w. Moved well, is a pleasing type and out-line. Just found him a little winter ready, which is allowed at his age.

3 Essenhigh & Bishop, Mr. B.J. & Mr. H.D., Ch. Hundahilli Bulleyanna for Brynlluan: A 7yr old b/w, a worthy champion with a mind of his own. He is a neat dog of great type and out-line and well balanced. Just wanted to be somewhere else but not here today.

Special Beginners Dog (2), 1 Anderson & Thomas, Ms. J. & Mr. J., Tamlin Hill Billy Rock (AI): As before.

Puppy Bitch (1), 1 Essenhigh & Bishop, Mr. B.J. & Mr. H.D., Lidoffad Twlip for Brynlluan: A 9.5mth old red brindle. Very nice sweet, well balanced bitch puppy. Pleasing on the eye, so feminine, so typy. I instantly liked her, nice and settled on the move. Pleased to award her Best Puppy Bitch and with no hesitation Best Puppy in Show.

Junior Bitch (2,1), 1 Craske & Finch, Miss H. & Miss J., Ancksunamun FA Mulan JW: A 14mth old red brindle that is a very neat girl. She is of a good size, nice type and out-line. Well balanced and very feminine. Moved really well about the ring. Pleased to award her Best Special Beginners. Well done.

Yearling Bitch (3), 1 Irving, Miss T., Twinan Truly Outrageous: This was a nice class. And heading it up was an 18mth old red brindle. She was well balanced, very pleasing on the eye. Typy girl with a nice out-line. Smooth on the move. Very feminine with a nice head, neat ears. Good neck, strong back, neat rear and good tail set.

2 Craske & Finch, Miss H. & Miss J., Ancksunamun FA Mulan JW: As before.

3 Down, Miss J., Elessar Eclipse the Stars JW: A 19mth old red brindle bitch coming in at 3rd place. She is very nice with all the attributes of the first 2. Just happened to be in a very good class. Liked her a lot.

Graduate Bitch (6), 1 Craske & Finch, Miss H. & Miss J., Ancksunamun FA Mulan JW: As before.

2 Down, Miss J., Elessar Eclipse the Stars JW: As before.

3 Evans, Mrs. R., Lidoffad Celtic Dream: A 3yr old red brindle bitch of good type and out-line. Well balanced and very feminine. Moved well.

4 Anderson & Thomas, Ms. J. Mr. J., Tamlin Boot Scoot Boogie (AI).

Post Graduate Bitch (2), 1 Anderson & Thomas, Ms. J. Mr. J., Tamlin Boot Scoot Boogie (AI): A 20mth old blue merle bitch, that is well grown for age. Nice type and out-line. Moved better this time.

2 Fricker, Miss F., Twinan Truly Scrumptious: A 16mth old red brindle bitch that is a lot smaller than 1st. But she is a nice shape and out-line and nicely balanced. Just lacked the maturity of 1st. Moved well.

Limit Bitch (3,1A), 1 Langford, Mrs. C.A., Caprian Adrianna JW: Movement alone allowed this 4yr old b/w bitch to head up this class. She is a very pleasing type with a good out-line. Well balanced through-out. Very pleasing on the eye. Really pleased to award her Res. Best Bitch and Res. Best in Show. Superb. Well done.

2 Smith, Mrs. T.M., Ceranda Gower Diamond JW: A 3yr old red brindle bitch of excellent type and out-line. A lot to like about her. She is well balanced and very feminine. Just not quite as well on the move, but very nice all the same.

Open Bitch (4), 1 Evans, Mrs. R., Lidoffad Llew Gwyllt: A 4yr red brindle bitch of a nice size. Very feminine. Well balanced and a lovely type. Out moved the rest in this class. Handling the floor with ease. Well done.

2 Fitzpatrick-Graham, Ms P., Ch. Ancksunamun Hallows Eve JW: A 3yr old red brindle, a worthy champion of substance. Lovely type and out-line. Just out moved by above. Still of excellent type.

3 Irving, Miss T.J., Ch. Twinan Shield of Steel (AI) JW: Sorry no notes.

4 Fricker, Miss F., Kerman Guilty Party: Sorry no notes.

Veteran Bitch (2,1), 1 Fricker, Miss F., Ch. Kerman Field of Dreams: At 9.5yrs of age this red brindle girl was the star of the day. I just loved her. She stood alone in this class. But she shone like a beacon. She is so feminine through and through. So balanced. She is eye-catching. She has the sweetest of heads. Full of expression, excellent ears, neck of good length. Loved her front and depth of brisket. Neat tuck up. Strong level back which she kept on the move. Strong back end with excellent tail set and correct tail. She floated around the ring. She demanded Best Veteran in Show. I was also pleased to award her Best In Show. So well deserved. Congratulations.
