Thanks to the committee for the invitation to judge at this well-run show. It was quite late by the time I got into the ring. So, thanks to the exhibitors who waited for me, and the sportsmanship from the exhibitors through-out the day.

Bearded Collie

Post Graduate D/B (3,1), 1 Bevis, Mrs. L., Beabeardies Blue Monday: A 19mth old bitch in a light blue jacket. Pleasing on the eye, nicely balanced of a nice type and out-line. Still a bit jittery to go over. But moves reasonably well. This will improve as she settles down.

Open D/B (5,2), 1 Butler, Miss A.H., Calowych Moana at Baxlby JW: A 4yr old grey bitch. A well grown girl of a good type and out-line, plenty of muscle which she used to her advantage moving nicely around the ring. Over-all she is a well-balanced bitch earning herself BOB and later Pastoral Grp 3. Well done.

2 Rivers Miss K., Breaksea Time Lord at Bendale: A 3yr old fawn/brown dog. He is well grown of good type and out-line. He is in good coat and very pleasing on the eye. Very masculine. Just preferred the muscles on the 1st. But still worthy of Reserve BOB. Moved well.

3 Bevis, Mrs. L., Beabeardies Cinnamon Girl: A 6yr old bitch, just missed out, loved her size and out-line. Neat type, very pleasant girl, very feminine in a light grey coat.

AVNSC Pastoral - Puppy D/B (7,2), 1 Williams, Mrs. J., Mejola Edge of Glory: A 10mth old Collie (Rough) s/w bitch, well grown and in good coat for age. She is a nice type and out-line, moved steadily around the ring. Should do well.

2 Southron, Mrs. E. & Mr. C., Vallonne Magical Trick to Kastobri: A 6mth old fawn Briard bitch. She has a pleasing out-line and type. Very typical for age, and still a little jittery at this age. Let’s hope she loses that soon. Moved well.

3 Harrell & Branchflower, Mrs. K. & Miss A., Beaukita’s Ava’s Endeavour: A 6mth old Beauceron bitch. Of a very nice type and shape. She is well balanced for her age. She is very pleasing to hand. Pity to come up against 1st & 2nd. Just a little loose on the move. When she tightens up, she will be fine.

4 Topham & Maltas, Mrs. M, Mr. A. & Miss. D., Chalksvilles Running Eagle at Virlees: Bitch. GSD.

5 Williams, Mrs. J., Mejola Some Girls Do: Bitch. Collie (Rough).

Junior D/B (4,1), 1 Forman, Mr. A.J. & Mrs. S.P., Kastina Heart Of Lutetia to Suzdans: A 16mth old GSD bitch. Certainly, in my top dogs today. This bitch oozes type and out-line for me. Very feminine, sound as a bell and moved out well. Well done.

2 White, Ms. L.F., Caronlea Celtic Charmer at Joemarlea (IKC): A 13mth old Australian Shepherd dog. He is red merle colour and of a pleasing type and out-line. Moved freely and easily around the ring. Liked him a lot.

3 Williams, Mrs. J., Mejola Endeavour: Collie (Rough). A 9mth old Collie (Rough) dog. The baby of the class. He has a smashing out-line, super type in good coat for age. The s/w dog is just pushing himself in this class. That said I liked him and was pleased he was a puppy. Pleased to award him BP and later Puppy Group 3.

Post Graduate D/B (5,2), 1 Harrell & Blanchflower, Mrs. K. & Miss A., Beaukita’s McCory Park: A 4yr old Beauceron bitch. This Beauceron girl is well grown and presents herself well. She has a pleasing out-line and is of a nice type. I liked the way she moved nice and straight, fore and aft. Well done.

2 Smith, Smith & Stockbridge, Mrs. R., Mr. E. & Miss. J., Ruanticx Spyro The Dragon with Valladar: 23mth old Swedish Vallhund dog. He is well grown for his age and very typical, nice type and out-line. Still some maturing to do and moved ok around the ring. An honest type.

3 Krizova, Miss M., Giennah Taarika Mea Maralakes (Imp. Cze): An 18mth old Australian Shepherd bitch. This girl moves well. But requires some handling skills to get the most out of her. She is a pleasing girl. Typy with a good temperament.

Open D/B (10,6), 1 Williams, Mrs. J., Ch. Mejola Top Gun JW: A Collie (Rough). Topping this 1st class was this 2.5yr old s/w dog. He is of a super type and out-line, which hits you straight way, and he had to be good to head up this class. So typy and in great coat. Excellent front and rear. Moving straight and true. Pleased to award him BOB and later Group 3. Well deserved.

2 Forman, Mr. A.J. & Mrs. S.P., Reyakosa Denzo for Suzdans: A 3yr old German Shepherd Dog. He is of a nice colour, and of good type and out-line. Very masculine, well-muscled through-out. Very sound and moving well around the ring. Pushing the 1st very hard. Pleased to award him Res. BOB.

3 Strong & Clinton, Mr. M., Mrs. J. & Miss. A., Ch. Ohanaway Having A Blast at Mackjama: A 5yr old Swedish Vallhund dog, who could have won this class. He is an honest work-man like dog. Typy, great out-line. Strong, well-muscled. A proper cracker. Loved him, so nice to have this type of dilemma, great.

4 Harrell & Blanchflower, Mrs. K. & Miss A., Titan Des Ramparts Castels with Beaukita (Imp. Fra): A 3.5yr old Beauceron dog. He is not out of place in this super class. He is well grown, nice type and out-line. Moved well about the ring, pushing the other exhibits. Well done you deserved to be placed.

AV Imported Register Breed - Pastoral

Open D/B (6,2), 1 Huntley, Mrs J., Var Des Monts Lokiralgris at Puidelup: A 13mth old black Icelandic Sheepdog bitch. Still needs to fill out, not a bad shape and type. Pleasing enough to go over. Just needs to watch out for rear movement. Apart from that not bad at all. Pleased to award her BOB.

2 Strange, Mrs. G.S., White Dream Team Simply the Best: A 3yr old Bitch White Swiss Shepherd Dog. This girl is pleasant type and out-line that should have won this class. Except she is a little nervous and wary which is a nono in a breed this size. So, get that sorted if you can. Res. BOB.

AV Pastoral  - Puppy D//B (5,4), 1 Stock, Mrs. S., Sapphire Moon for Shemist: A 6 mths old Shetland Sheepdog, b/m bitch. Which is of a good type and out-line. And pleasant on the eye. She moved very nicely around the ring.

Open D/B (8,6), 1 Bevis. Mrs. L., Mrs. S., Beabeardies Cinnamon Girl: As Before.

2nd Dawkins-Hirst, Ms. H., Kirkwind Soul Man: 14mth old Border Collie dog. He is a neat looking dog of good type and out-line. Just needs a bit more handling.

Veteran D/B (6,2), 1 Henshaw-Wood, Mr. A., Ch. Magikus Belatrix Black: A 9yr old Hungarian Puli bitch. A superb bitch of great type and out-line. Catches your eye straight away. In super condition and moves like a Puli should. Sound as a bell. Pleased to award her BV and even more pleased to see her take BV in Show. Many congratulations.

2 Rivers, Mrs. J.A., Talraz Comedy Act for Kyleca VW: An 8yr old Bearded Collie Bitch shown in grey and white colouring. Of a nice type and out-line. Shown in a good coat and presented in good order. Moved around the ring purposely, earning herself this place, well done.

3 Benton, Miss M.K., Ch. Oakestelle Artemis Sh CEx, VW: A Collie (Smooth) 8yr old Grey and White bitch, which I liked a lot. She is of a good type, with a very pleasing disposition. Neat out-line. Moved out well.

4 Turns, Miss, Fyglia Mei Titania: A 9yr old Border Collie bitch which was happy to be out enjoying herself. Meeting everyone and who can blame her. Moved ok.

PASTORAL ADULT GROUP

Group 1 - Cowley, Mrs. L.J. & Mr. K.D., Ch. Kashbeluli There We Are Then JW, Sh CEx, OSW: Hungarian Puli – Dog.  At nearly 4yrs of age this Black Hungarian Puli dog has done well under me before, and I have not changed my mind. He is an outstanding example of the breed. Excels in type and out-line and moves so typical of the breed.

Group 2 – Mills, Mrs. P.L. & Miss F.K., Kerjalee All About Me: OES – Bitch.  Just over 2yrs old OES Bitch she is very pleasing on the eye, and is in good coat. Neat type and out-line. And is a very nice to go over. Excelled when on the move. Well done.

Group 3 - Williams, Mrs. J., Ch. Mejola Top Gun JW: A Collie (Rough). Dog. As Before.

Group 4 - Butler, Miss A.H., Calowych Moana at Baxilby JW: A Bearded Collie. Bitch. As Before.

PASTORAL PUPPY GROUP

Group 1 - Allwood, Mrs. J., Ladamis Lady Liberty: OES. Bitch. Just 6mths and at her 1st show. This OES bitch oozes feminity, she is a lovely type and out-line. So confident, which counts so much as this age. It shows so much when on the move really settled on the move, very smart.

Group 2 – Jerrett, Mrs. D.L., Coldelee Busy Bein Fabulous: Collie (Smooth) – Bitch. A 10mth old s/w (Smooth) Collie and this young lady certainly knows how to move, very impressive so smooth on the move. You would think she was older. Very smart of a-good type and out-line.

Group 3 - Williams, Mrs. J., Mejola Endeavour: A Collie (Rough). Dog. As Before.

Group 4 – McGreade, Mr. P. & Mrs. D., Vandreem Imperial Ocean for Frostia: An 8mth old Samoyed Bitch. A very nice girl, certainly did not look out of place in this line-up. She is of a good type and out-line. Well balanced and moved well. Shown in a good coat, very impressive.

AV Puppy Stakes D/B

(41,29), 1 Jennings & Slack, Mr. D.K. & Miss M., Alibama Gossip Girl: A 10mth old black (American Cocker) Spaniel. This young girl stood out in this class. Moving so smooth and easy, she looked a picture, well done.

2 Crummey, Miss N., Deelayne Dancing in the Dark: A Lhasa Apso, bitch just 6 mths of age. She was pulling out all the stops and it was a pleasure watching her move around the ring. Very neat in type and outline.

3 Wilkinson, Mr. A. & Mrs. J., Kalaju Dream a Little Dream: A 9mth old OES bitch. A nice cobby girl, very feminine of excellent type and out-line. Very well balanced and moved steadily.

4th Leech, Mr. G.J. & Mrs. P., Woudbear Truly Madly Deeply Mileoak (Imp. Nld): A 9mth old Newfoundland dog. Well grown for age. He is a pleasing boy. Coming along nicely. With his nice out-line and type, should do well.

5th Rose, Miss C., Winflash Jumping Jingle: Miniature Schnauzer. An 8mth old black Miniature Schnauzer this young lady even though at this placing is a of a very pleasing type. Moving purposely around the ring looking every bit the elegant young lady she is.
