Chesapeake Bay Retriever

1. Mahon-Hunns, Middleton, Haskin Susqudilla Yankee Shadow (Imp USA) RBOB

13m D. Substantial and masculine all through. Head broad and round, wide set eyes and ears lying close into skull. Strong neck into muscular body of correct proportions, rising to the croup. Super front, well laid back, deep chest and short coupled. Abundant and rich dark colour coat, with distinct outer and undercoat. Well set tail carried above level of the back and long striding on the move RBOB

1. Watts Oakmarsh Little Acorn JW RATN

2y B. Feminine all through, and well proportioned. Super expression from correct head shape and eye placement. Neat small ears. Strong looking with well tapered neck into well laid scapula, straight legs set well under. Body size and shape correct, correctly short coupled, and excellent muscled rear. Matching front and back end. Hare feet the right size and it was just a shame about her coat today. Smooth movement around the ring.

2 Watts Oakmarsh Indian Dream Maker

4y6m B. Correct head with good eye colour and expression, nose and lips matching coat colour. Well developed chest and deep, straight forelegs well under. Rear rises at croup, tail well set on Slightly longer body than 1 and not the coat condition today. Moved strongly around the ring.

1. Middleton & Mayhew Lux/Bel CH Arnac Bay Jellicoe BOB

2y8m B. Quality and femininity all through, strong and moderate with balanced proportions. Alert and bright expression, broad head, muzzle and skull in balance. Medium length to neck, leading to powerful shoulders. Legs are well boned, straight and under body. Well developed body, correct depth to chest, a rise to the croup and well set tail held correctly on the move. Coat of quality and thick condition. Powerful movement, matching fore and aft gives that smooth carriage.

2. Watts CH Oakmarsh Freedom SGWC RATN

7+y B. Strong appearance, and good muscular condition. Broad head slightly domed, good eye placement and colour. Tapered neck to deep chested body. Good forechest and lay of shoulders, to slighter boned front and rear legs than 1. Strong topline, short coupled, with definition to rear and second thigh. Typical rise to croup, tail slightly curved, and also on the move. Coat not her best today.
