Best in show.
For my best in show, I chose the Cocker Spaniel Quettadene Stars Aligned Over Bordacity JW owned by Ms S Watson. He is a well-balanced dog who was presented in immaculate condition. Typical square muzzle with a very distinct stop and his skull is correctly proportioned with beautiful chiseling. Dark eyes giving an intelligent expression and low set ears of good length. He carried his head well on his moderate length of neck. Good bone to his straight legs with his shoulders sloping and cat like firm feet. Hi body is compact, strong with his ribs well sprung and his topline gently slopes away to his slightly, lower set tail. Muscular, rounded rear with his stifles well bent and complimenting his front perfectly. On the move he covered the ground with excellent drive and he was true at all times.
My reserve best in show was the Pomeranian Vibrek Miss Tiff owned by Mrs P Charlton. A beautiful, well knit compact bitch presented in fabulous condition. Feminine head with a foxy appearance and a slightly flat skull. Oval shaped, well set medium eyes giving good expression and small, erect well set ears all carried well by her short neck leading down to her clean, well laid-back shoulders. Well ribbed up in her compact, short body of ample depth. High set tail which she carries turned over her back and flat. Finely boned in her rear with moderate turn of stifle. On the move she covered the ground with a free, brsik and buoyant action.
My best puppy in show was the Ibizan Hound Kiwi Traesures Tenessee Whiskey for Hollybrook (IMP USA) owned by Miss Hall. My reserve best puppy in show was the Bearded Collie Orme Rose for Kilfinan owned by Mr A. Burscough & Ms R. Evans. Beautifully presented bitch of typical proportions. My best veteran in show was the Shetland Sheepdog Balidorn Golden Amber ShCEx owned by Mr W & Mrs C Rosslyn. A female of very good quality with an excellent temperament. She shows a pleasing head and expression, with a good mouth, dark eyes, and well placed ears that remain alert. She stands on ample bone with tight, tidy feet, has good depth of brisket and fore chest, and carries a firm back leading into a well molded croup and correct tail set. Her hindquarters are well developed and complement her overall structure. Sound moving both coming and going, she displays a lovely side gait with good reach and drive.
