Griffon Bruxellois

Puppy (4,2)

1. Wood’s Delightbull Viva La Vida. Attractive 10-months red rough female with a delightfully cheeky expression, full of character, lively and alert. Feminine head with well-set, dark, black-rimmed eyes, a large nose with well-opened nostrils, and small, well-set ears. Presents a balanced outline, although I would prefer her to be a little shorter in loin to complete the picture. Her exuberance made a full assessment of movement difficult, but the few strides observed were free and true. Best Puppy.

2. Catling’s Zilcan Hip Hop. Promising 8-month-old red rough male of pleasing breed type. Attractive head with correct monkey-like expression, complemented by well-set, small semi-erect ears. Still very much a youngster with plenty of time to mature and develop. Would like to see a little more width through the chest as he continues to grow. Moved with a level topline, although more rear drive would complete the picture.

Special Yearling (1,1)

Limit (1,0)

1. Wood’s Delightbull Come On Eileen.Well-balanced 2-year-old red rough bitch with a pleasing head and superb expression, enhanced by beautiful dark eyes and small, well-set ears. Well laid-back shoulders, wide and deep through the chest, with a short, compact body and firm, level topline. I would have preferred a little more length of neck and greater strength in hindquarters to complete the picture. Moved freely, balanced and true both coming and going. Reserve Best of Breed, although very close call with BOB.

Open (2,1)

1. Wood’s Delightbull Lady in Red. Well-balanced red rough bitch, presenting a pleasing square outline and good substance throughout. Large, typical head with a keen, lively expression. Slightly arched neck flowing into well laid-back shoulders, deep chest, correct tailset, and firm, level topline. Short-coupled body giving the desired impression of a true square. Moved freely and true both coming and going, maintaining level topline on the move. Alert and attentive throughout. Best of Breed
