May I please start with thanking the committee for this invitation I had a lovely day. Very capable steward Joy who helped maintain good timing and kept our ring running very smoothly throughout the day. Also much thanks must go to the exhibitors who gave me a lovely entry and I’m grateful for the opportunity to go over so many beautiful dogs.

Cavalier King Charles Graduate 2/2

1st Miss L. Linton – Daltonian’s Poppies

6 months old ruby female, lovely feminine head with gentle expression. Ears set on high with good feathering. Slight arch of neck, level topline. Moved very well with good reach in front. Delightful temperament for such a youngster. Best Puppy In Breed.

2nd Mrs H. Wright – Fortunamajor Cast A Spell At Myloglenn

9 Months old Blenheim female. Another delightful baby with a nice temperament. Pretty in head with dark rounded eyes. Nice in body, good spring of rib with level topline. Moved well in front.

Cavalier King Charles Open 2/2

1s K. Knyaston – Granasil Ovaltine 

3 Year old male, ruby in colour with excellent coat. Super temperament, very attentive to handler. Nice overall size, masculine head yet such a gentle expression. Ears carried high with nice feathering. Good reach of neck, slight arch leading into well fitted shoulders. Level topline with tail set carried out level on the move. Lovely feathering, moved super, level with good reach in front and drive from behind. Best Of Breed and Toy Group 3.

2nd Miss S. Eccles - Llapsttam Get Knotted

Black and tan 3 year old male, strikingly rich in tan markings correctly marked. Larger sized male but well made, large skull, dark eyes full of gentle expression. Ears set on high with lovely feathering. Nicely arched neck, level in back. Moved well coming and going, pushing from behind using good muscle. Straight in front of good bone and well cushioned feet.

1st Cilla Beadling – Sharlana Eclipse

15 month old male, black and white evenly marked clean coat. Rounded head with dark expressive eyes, just enough white showing in corners. Black pigment to nose with open nostrils. Compact body, Level topline with high set tail carried up and over with plume. Moved out straight with good reach in front.

Japanese Chin Open(2/2)

1st Curwood – yama Midwood Master Tailor

Black and white male of 3 years old. Dainty boy but well made. Lovely head, rounded with ears set high. Round dark eyes with just the right amount of white showing. Another with good black pigment, Open nostrils. Nice level topline, tail set high with good plume. Legs straight and parallel on the move with good reach in front and drive from behind. Best Of Breed 

2nd Miss Shiela Habron Jaschin Stop And Paws

Black and white well coated male of 5 years old. A larger boy but nicely made. Super temperament. Lovely rounded skull, dark eyes forward facing. Good Open nostrils with black pigment, muzzle short and wide. Squared in body, with good depth of forchest. Straight in leg on the move with true hare foot. Tail carried well, nicely plumed over back.

King Charle Spaniel Open(2/2)

1st Miss p Sidgwick- Chacombe Hank at pauliam

Tri coloured male of good overall size. Attentive to handler. Good domed skull, ears nicely set low with feathering. Dark eyes with gentle expression. Slight arch of neck fitting into well laid shoulders. Straight and level legs of good bone. Topline level, tail carried level on the move. Free action with good drive from behind. Best Of Breed

2nd . Maddison – Justacharma Northern Magic

Another tri coloured male, nicely marked coat. Gentle expression on a nicely domed skull. Round dark eyes, ears set low eith ni e feathering. Slightly arched in neck leading down to a level topline. Tail carried out on the move. Good reach in front. Moved very well with handler.

Miniature Pinscher (4/4)

1st Sue Hind – Diamoneo One Step Beyond

Eye catching super outline to this young red 6 months old male. Totally full of self importance as he strutted round the ring. True in head, narrow and flat skull. Small high set ears used throughout. Oval in eye with such character and cheekiness expression. Slightly arched neck fitting into well laid shoulders. Square and compact in body, deep ribs, well sprung. Tail carried up. On the move he shown true hackney action stepping in a straight line. Excellent angulation, straight in legs of medium bone. A super youngster to watch out for. Delighted to award him Best Of Breed and Best Puppy In Breed then later Toy Group 4 and Toy Puppy Group 1.

 2nd Miss V. Chapman – Vickstock Boogie Nights

Handsome dainty male, black and tan in colour with smooth coat. Oval eyes showing true expression. Nice in head, ears set high, smooth flowing neck down along level back. Slightly sloping off to a high set tail held over throughout. Single track on the move another showing very good hackney action. Feet cat like with black nails. Moved super well, a close call between these 2 youngsters.

Miniature Pinscher Open (3/3)

1st J And W Unwin – Jaegerson Kingsman j.w.

Handsome red male, 18 months old mature looking boy Nice outline Strikingly rich red in coat colour. Nice shape and balanced outline. Good in body, deep ribs with level back and tail set high. Moving round he also shown like he knew what he needed to do. Good width between forlegs, moderate in bone reaching in front with good hackney step going forward.

2ND J And W Unwin – CH. Vickstock Wow Aneeva J.W. Another lovely min pin to admire, 3 years old red female. Very pretty in head, ears set high, typical keen expressive dark eyes. Slight arched neck well fitted into shoulders, good depth to forchest with legs straight and elbows tight to body. Muscular behind with width between. Moved with good hackney step driving from behind. A very close call for Bob.

1St V. Webber – Tarnock Pocker Scotch J.W.

Black and white male, 23 months old. Lovely ring presence. Nice outline of shape. Slightly rounded in skull on top, definate stop. Eyes dark rounded, ears large with plenty of feathering. Scissor bite with strong jaws. Level in back, good spring of rib. Tail set high with good plume. Fine boned legs on the move he was level and moved light and free. Best Of Breed 

2nd V. Webber – Meldrum Reiver Melangel

Another male, 4 years old. Slightly bigger in structure but nicely made. Well coated, clean with nice markings. Dark eyes with dark rims. Muzzle finely pointed. Large flaring ears. Good depth to forchest, well ribbed in body and level back. Tail plumed held up and over. Moved lovely with handler who was very polite and an excellent young handler.

Papillon Open (2/2)

1st A And C Thornton- Khanor Another Kate

Red and white flame of 4 years old. Beautifully presented outline. Feminine head, eyes dark . Large ears with plenty feathering. Medium length of neck with shoulders well developed. Level back fairly long in body, with good spring of rib. Tail plumed over back. On the move she pushed from behind with good drive.

2nd Harle B and D – Debrilyn Marbled White

2 years old female, red and white in colour nicely marked clean coat. Overall nice size and in proportion. Pretty in head with gentle expressive eyes. Large feathered ears. Definite stop with fine muzzle. Strong yet fine boned legs pushing well from behind. Very close call in this class. Preferred movement of 1st.

1st Mrs L Ormsby- Mr Thomas Klynooreld

Handsome male, 4 years old. Orange in colour, well clean coated male. Lovely ring presence with handler. Typical head foxy like, eyes slightly oval and dark, showing intelligent expression. Ears small. Nice sized body fairly square, compact and well ribbed up. Good depth of forchest. True cat footed feet, legs balanced and straight. Moved very lightly and free action. Best Of Breed 

Pug Graduate (2/2)

1st Mr and Mrs Howe- Chandshar Fab Frankie

Overall outline a cobby, well bodied male of 3 years old. Fawn in colour with coat short and glossy. Large skull, relatively large. Blunt muzzle, with black nose, wide open nostrils. Eyes round lustrous yet gentle expression. Small velvet like ears set high on. Cobby body, good depth in chest. Level in topline . Tail set high. Strong legs moderate length. Moved well with handler.

2nd Miss L Walker- Sunlea Beryl The Peril

5 year old female, black finely smooth coated. Beautiful temperament. Relatively large head, dark eyes with expression of great charm. Black nose with good open nostrils. Width in forchest, level topline, good in body, slightly longer. Moderate length of legs, strong bone. She moved well.

1st Mr N Walker – Afterglow Wild West Hero At Sunlea

Strong masculine outline on this nearly 3 years old male. Large in head with beautiful round dark eyes giving full expression. Black nose with excellent open nostrils. Cobby in body with broad chest and ribs well sprung. Level in back with tight curled tail over hip area. Moved very soundly using strong bone in legs. Best Of Breed. 

2Nd Mr N Walker - Afterglow Able Mabel Of Sunlea

Beautiful 4 year old female, fawn coated of fine smooth fur. Nice overall all size, slightly long in body but good top line and spring of rib. Large head with feminine expressive dark eyes. Small soft ears. Slight Crested to neck carrying head nicely. Strong boned legs set well under body. Moved with ease straight with good fall in front.

1st Mr and Mrs Panton- Quereza Fairies Wear Boots For Dunningvale

6 month old little superstar, this pup strutted into the ring like she owned it. Compact well knit outline balanced youngster. Black rough coated, shaggy and harsh texture coming nicely. Fairly small head domed forehead. Very dark round eyes showing the true monkey like expression. Blunt in muzzle with good chin turn up. Small high set ears which she used with cheekiness. Short in back level topline, slight fall away from croup to high set tail. Straight in leg with small and compact feet. On the move she was delightful, she was so full of herself, lifting her feet high moving in good confident movement. Best Puppy In Breed then later took Toy Puppy Group 2.

Such a handsome, picture perfect affen. A true delight to go over and appreciate what the breed is about. Well balanced outline in structure. Masculine head yet such a cheeky gentle expression. Dark eyes that sparkled. High, small set ears forward facing. Blunt muzzle with broad lower jaw. Fairly square in body, straight back with well sprung ribs. High set tail curved gentle over back when on the move. Flowed round the ring strutting like king of the land. Best Of Breed then later awarded Toy Group One.

6 month old red female, lovely glossy coat coming through. Nice in outline, square in shape of nice balance overall. Nice in head, slightly rounded skull with large ears with good feathering coming in. Defined stop with tapering muzzle. Rounded eyes showing sweet expression. Lean in neck, slightly arched. Straight in back with tail carried up and over on the move. Long in legs straight and fairly parallel of fine bone. Small and compact feet. Moved swiftly and kept up the pace.

Dark rounded eyes, ears set high with good feathering. Slightly arched in neck, level in back with good spring of rib to body. Tail set well on of good length. Legs of moderate bone, straight with well cushioned feet. Moved in motion straight with good rear drive.

Such a lovely handsome male of 8 years old. Black and white in colour with even markings. Slightly rounded skull between large high set ears flaring with feathering. Round dark eyes showing intelligent expression. Muzzle finely pointed. Good length to body level topline with slight arch to belly. Tail high set carried over the back with good plume. Straight slender in legs yet fine in bone. Hare like feet. Moved very well and free flowing.
