East of Scotland Canine Club – 1 March 2026

Rachael Salter – Irisaddition

My sincere thanks to the committee of East of Scotland Canine Club for inviting me to judge at their show. Thank you so much for the lovely gift which will be handy on long dog show days. I thoroughly enjoyed my day and would also like to thank my stewards for their assistance and all the exhibitors who entered and presented their dogs under me.

Class 150 – Welsh Corgi (Pembroke) Junior

1st – Albadhu Bark In Action

Very promising 7-month-old red male with a lovely masculine head and pleasing expression, enhanced by a dark, well-shaped eye. Lovely shoulders, good bone and correct dentition. Well balanced for his age and moved freely and soundly around the ring with good forward reach. A very pleasing youngster with plenty of promise.

2nd – Albadhu Bark To The Future

7-month-old bitch and sister to my winner. A very feminine youngster with many of the same lovely head qualities as her brother, but with the refinement and expression I would expect in a bitch. Pleasing overall balance and a very attractive outline. Another promising puppy who should have a bright future as she matures.

1st – Calwini’s Aqua Bloom

Nicely constructed fore and aft and presented in good condition. Moved freely and soundly, holding her shape well on the move.

2nd – Saniaquinto Black Diamond

3-year-old male of good type, masculine without being overdone. Pleasing head and expression, good overall proportions and well bodied. Soundly constructed and moved out well with a steady, purposeful action.

Class 161 – German Shepherd Dog

1st – Celtacastus Lilo

7-month-old bitch of lovely type, well handled and presented. Still has lots of growing and maturing to do and, at this age, needs a little more length, but this should come with maturity. Super feminine head and expression and a very promising youngster overall.

2nd – Milesmeadows Heidi

14-month-old black and tan bitch. Super head, moved well and presented a pleasing overall picture. Carrying plenty of coat, which disguised her outline today. Would benefit from a little more confidence in her handling, but another pleasing young bitch.

Class 162 – German Shepherd Dog

1st – Kenleap Marble Swirl at Celtacastus

21-month-old black and tan bitch. Super feminine outline with good bone and substance, yet retaining her femininity throughout. Lovely arch of neck flowing into good shoulders, giving a pleasing, balanced overall picture. Presented in hard condition and showed herself extremely well. A quality bitch who thoroughly deserved BOB.
