My sincere thanks to the committee of Stockport Canine Society for inviting me to judge at their show. I thoroughly enjoyed my day and would also like to thank my stewards for their assistance and all the exhibitors who entered and presented their dogs under me.

Shetland Sheepdog

Class 99 Junior (1)

1st Fervaila Black Cuillin

Ten-month-old tricolour male, rather large for his age. Well presented, with good pigmentation, correct dentition and pleasing eye colour. Well muscled, with good angulation throughout, and handled well. Best Puppy.

Class 100 Post Graduate (2)

1st Balidorn Olympic Star with Solyric JW

Eighteen-month-old sable male, nicely put together and of good proportions. Excellent head and eye, correct dentition and good pigmentation. Moved out well and was beautifully presented. Best of Breed.

2nd Fervaila Blue Dahlia

Ten-month-old blue merle bitch, very large for her age but displaying good overall proportions and a pleasing eye. Rear movement was rather close today.

1st Grandgenes She Has The Look

Two-year-old sable bitch, beautifully handled by her junior handler. Good ears and eyes, with a lovely feminine head and a well-made overall outline. A delightful, friendly girl.

Class 102 Puppy (1)

1st Piece of Happiness Tornado at Petalnote

Ten-month-old black and white male of good proportions, with a pleasing head and eye and correctly set ears. Well put together, although rather cheeky on the move today, throwing his front legs up and giving his handler a difficult time. Best Puppy.

Class 103 Junior (1, 1 absent)

1st Blackgold Basil

Two-year-old black and white male with a lovely head and eye and good ear placement. Moved with good reach and drive. Well presented and shown in excellent condition. Best of Breed.

2nd Starside Tina Turner

Two-year-old black and white bitch of a finer type. Feminine throughout, well handled and presented, but lacked the front reach of the winner and was rather fine through the body.

Class 105 Open (3)

1st Amkamel Half Blood Prince JW

Three-year-old black and white male, well presented and handled and shown in good, hard condition. Pleasing head and eye, good ears and well-balanced height-to-length proportions.

2nd Starside Break Every Rule

Nearly three-year-old black and white bitch of nice proportions, with a good expression and feminine throughout. She could not match the coat and condition of the winner today.

1st Ribblespride Kruger

Thirteen-month-old male, well built and of good proportions, with a pleasing head and eye and good ears. Well muscled, with plenty of definition through the body, and handled well.

2nd Droversrock Rhyolite

Eight-month-old bitch, still fine in type, rather leggy and immature at present. She needs time to develop and would benefit from more settled handling. Best Puppy.

Class 107 Post Graduate (2)

1st Lankeela Kristi and Eeyore

Four-year-old brown male, well built and of good proportions. Pleasing head and ears, correct dentition and a bright, alert expression. Handled well.

2nd Droversrock Pyrite

Black and tan bitch of a finer type, with good proportions. Unfortunately, she was not moved out sufficiently for me to assess her movement fully.

Class 108 Open (4, 1 absent)

1st Poolheywood Barney JW

Three-and-a-half-year-old male, well made and shown in hard condition. Pleasing head, eye and ears, with a good coat; clean and very well presented. Perfectly handled. Best of Breed.

2nd Foxthyme Tilly

Three-year-old bitch, well made and feminine, with a good head, eye and ear set. A very spirited, happy girl who was full of herself.

1st Urban Legend Dilorini at Rozimba (Imp Pol)

Thirteen-month-old fawn male whom I have seen previously and who has matured very well. Super head and eye, with excellent pigmentation and good overall proportions. Moved particularly well; it was lovely to see how he has developed.

2nd Stormymoon Is Enough

Eight-month-old fawn male and a lovely, well-balanced puppy. Pleasing head and eye; he moved steadily and with control to beat his sister for Best Puppy.

1st Bel/Lux Ch Vivienne de L’Arene Noire at Rozimba (Imp Bel) Bel Jnr Ch/BJWJ23/MWJ23

Three-and-a-half-year-old black bitch, beautifully made and very feminine. Excellent proportions, with a pleasing height-to-length ratio and a good head and eye. Presented in hard condition and moved out nicely. Best of Breed and Pastoral Group 1.

2nd Ch Stormymoon Untamed Irish

Eight-year-old black male, shown in excellent condition for his age. Super coat, well handled and presented, with good proportions. I would prefer him a little larger.

1st Kastina Jodie

Seventeen-month-old bitch with a lovely feminine head, good ears and correct dentition. Well handled and presented, she moved out with power and drive. Good depth of chest, well muscled and strongly built while remaining feminine throughout.

2nd Kastina Jorah

Seventeen-month-old male with a super head and expression, strongly made throughout. I preferred the winner’s front reach and drive; he stood rather overextended behind today.

1st Droyales Present Verdandi JW

Two-year-old male and a real powerhouse. Super build, with a pleasing head and eye and correct dentition. Perfectly schooled, he moved out with tremendous power, reach and drive. A super mover. Best of Breed.

1st Lara Croft of the Kimewopark

Just seven months old, this sable bitch was very pretty and feminine, with a pleasing eye and good ears. I would prefer a little more neck, but she has plenty of time to develop. Carrying an abundance of coat and very well presented; still very much a baby. Best Puppy.

1st Aqualita Majestic

Twenty-month-old sable male, well presented and handled. Lovely head and eye, with correctly placed ears. In good coat, well muscled throughout and displaying pleasing overall proportions. A really lovely dog. Best of Breed and Pastoral Group 3.

Class 119 Open (3)

1st Aqualita Its a Miracle

Six-and-a-half-year-old male with a pleasing head, good muzzle length and lovely eye. Well presented, with good front and rear reach and drive. Moved out with purpose and was handled well.

2nd Barrenclough Diamond Dawn at Myjacks

Six-year-old sable male, nicely presented, with a pleasing head and eye and a lovely temperament. His movement lacked the purpose of the winner today.

1st Wispafetes Back to Black

Nine-month-old tricolour male with a super head and eye and correct dentition. Moved well and was professionally handled. Good height-to-length proportions, with well-laid shoulders reflected in his front reach. Very well presented. Best Puppy and Pastoral Puppy Group 1.

1st Matera’s Dancing Queen

Eighteen month old tricolour bitch, rather fine in body and lacking in breed type for me, would prefer a stronger head. Pleasing eye colour and correct dentition, well presented by her novice handler.

1st Archie Labakan Slovakia JW (Imp SKJ)

Black male whom I have judged previously. He has really matured since then and continues to improve, getting better and better. Best of Breed and Pastoral Group 2.

2nd Ch Wispafete Once Upon a Dream

Five year old tricolour bitch, well handled and possessing a feminine head. She was narrower in front than the winner, and I would prefer a head displaying more typical Australian Shepherd character.

Thirteen-month-old blue merle and white male with a great head and eye and correctly placed ears. Good length, moved out with purpose and was well handled and presented.

2nd Do You Know Who I Am Welsh Corgi (Pembroke)

Red bitch, pretty and feminine and very well presented and handled. She could not match the front of the winner today.

1st Knytshall Ragged Robin Norwegian Buhund

Twenty-month-old black male of good proportions, well muscled and sympathetically handled. Pleasing eye and ears with correct dentition. Rather nervous today, he lacked front extension and his front movement was somewhat pattering.

1st Pafaxen Rewrite the Stars Pyrenean Mountain Dog

Two-and-a-half-year-old male, well groomed and handled. Great head with a dark eye and correct dentition. Moved out well, displaying good reach and drive. Best A.V.N.S.C. Pastoral.

2nd Ch Ludas Matyi Aladar (Imp Hun) Hungarian Puli

Five-year-old male with correct dentition, a well-corded coat and dark eye. Well presented and expertly handled, although somewhat reluctant today.
