Kerry Blue Terrier Club of England Open Show

09/10/2026

I would like to thank the Kerry Blue Terrier Club of England for inviting me to judge at their open show. I was especially touched by the thought and consideration behind the lovely gift I received from the club. My sincere thanks also go to everyone who entered under me and supported my appointment. I was delighted to attract an entry equal to that of the SWKA Championship Show and to have the opportunity to assess quality dogs. Finally, I would like to thank my excellent stewards for their assistance throughout, and everyone who contributed to the friendly and welcoming atmosphere both in and around the ring.

Class 1 Special New Members Dog or Bitch

1 Tsvetkova’s POL CH GASPING FOR LOVE-POEZJA RUCHU, four-year-old bitch. Lovely feminine bitch, on the smaller side but with plenty of character. Good length of head and correct dentition, nice length of neck running into short coupled, level body. Very well-muscled rear giving plenty of drive on the move. Very well handled. RBB.

Class 9 Open Dog

1 Clarke-O’Neill’s LEMRACDREAM MAVERICK, four-year-old dog. A well sized dog oozing masculinity. Impressive head and expression. Well-sprung ribs and deep chest giving impression of a powerful terrier. Correct tail set and well-muscled large hindquarters. BD and RBIS.

Class 15 Limit Bitch

1 Jones & Bradley’s JOALYN PARSLEY MOON, three-year-old bitch. Very well-balanced bitch of good proportions. Strong head with correct dentition, graceful reaching neck running into well coupled body. Plenty of depth to chest and well sprung ribs. Correct feet and tail. Slightly less reach than the other bitches.

Class 16 Open Bitch

1 Pinfold’s CH CYRES NANCY DREW, four-year-old bitch. What a fantastic example of the breed and totally deserving champion. Upstanding and graceful with a stunning blue coat. Fantastic headpiece held high by strong neck of good length. Level topline and good depth of chest. Well laid shoulders coupled with good angulation and plenty of muscle allowed this bitch to stride round the ring with such grace. I was very pleased to award her BB and BIS.
