My sincere thanks to the exhibitors for the sporting entry of lovely hounds; all were beautifully presented and a credit to their owners. I have not specifically mentioned bites or coats in the individual reports as all were found to be correct on the day. Similarly, all ridges were excellent. It was a pleasure to judge such a quality entry

Puppy – 1 entry – 0 Abs

1st – Barker – Delianza She’s Timeless

10 month old red wheaten bitch. Lovely size and type, showing great promise for her age. She has a lovely feminine head, correct stop and a nice dark eye. Correct ear placement and pleasing strength in her muzzle. A lovely reach of neck that flows smoothly into her topline and she has a well placed tailset and tail is a good length. Her shoulders are sloping, straight forelegs and good tight feet. She has a good depth of chest for her age and excels in rear assembly with a good turn of stifle. A very nice youngster who moved with purpose. Pleased to award her Best Puppy and watch her win Best Puppy in Show. The future is bright.

1st Hancock – Stasimelsie Ashwagandha

2 year old red wheaten bitch. Moderate sized, head and muzzle of nice length, she has a kind round eye and correct ear placement. A good length to her neck, good angles in front and rear though I would prefer more bone throughout and tighter feet. On the day she was unsettled on the move so it was difficult to fully assess her reach and drive.

1st Nolan – Priorpark Pucker Up for Rumialana

A 3-year-old liver-nosed bitch of lovely quality, showing excellent pigment in both eye and nose that perfectly complements the coat. She has a head of nice length, though would prefer more length to her muzzle and a less pronounced stop. She is well balanced and has a good length to her neck. Lovely depth of chest and a good length of body and nice angulation throughout standing on nice, tight feet. She moved out well showing reach and drive.

2nd – Hancock – Stasimelsie Mace

7 year old red wheaten bitch of a standard size, presented in good condition. She has a pretty head with correct ear set and nice round eye. She is balanced in her front and rear angulation, with straight front legs. Would prefer tighter feet. She seemed unsettled on the move so it was difficult to assess her reach and drive. Pleased to award her Best Veteran.

1st – Nolan – Ch Priorpark Pearl Of Wisdom For Rumialana JW

2 year old red wheaten bitch. What a beautiful bitch, your eye flows from the tip of her nose through to the tip of her tail. A beautiful head with a classic expression and correct proportions. She has a good strong neck which flows beautifully into her level firm topline through to her correctly set tail. She has well laid shoulders and excellent upper arm with her forelegs perfectly straight with good bone and fabulous tight feet. She has a good depth to her chest and excellent ribbing which is moderately sprung and leads to a strong loin. Excellent rear angulation and well let down hocks. She is shown in fabulous hard condition. Her movement is straight forward, effortless showing excellent reach and drive, covering the ground with ease. A joy to watch. Delighted to award her BOB and watch her win Reserve Best In Show. Huge congratulations.

2nd – Barker – Ch Delianza Whats Your Motive JW

2 year-old red wheaten male. Beautifully balanced and shown in great condition. His head is strong without coarseness with correct proportions. He has a dark round eye showing lovely expression. His muzzle is of correct length and strength. He has a good length of neck flowing to a level topline which he held on the move. He has an excellent lay of shoulder and good length to his upper arm. His forelegs are straight and he stands on nice tight feet. He has good depth to his chest and he is well ribbed with a strong muscular loin. His rear angulation is excellent and well muscled with a good bend of stifle and well let down hocks. He moved out well in profile and away and back. A lovely male and a worthy champion. Pleased to award him Reserve Best of Breed.
