What a super venue you are very lucky to have with so much space to enable large rings which is sadly not always an option at a lot of open shows.

I was privileged to assess so many good specimens of the breeds I was to judge. 

Bracco Italiano 

Puppy

Canemamans Final Blow 11 months and what an extrovert she is. When settled she stood well to enable an assessment of her breed attributes. Long head with lean cheeks, eyes are clean and soft in expression. Long leathers with good folds. Liked the straight bone on her well set front. Correct lay to shoulders, chest deep. Held topline well on the move for a youngster and she strode out with head carried well. Thighs are long with power starting to develop. Moved so well for a youngster she deserved her BP, RBOB.

Limit

Canemamans Two Timer JW excellent bone type and shape of feet which he placed precisely on the move with a good length to his stride. Just a youngster showing much potential. Body is muscled holding his topline well on the move. Chest deep with elbows placed correctly under withers. Masculine in head with a kind eye, good length and fold to ears. Strong through his short neck. Ribs well sprung. Muscled thighs with straight hocks.

Canemamans Primo Al Fine JW 

4 yr male who has ring presence and certainly moves out with a long driving stride. Beautiful head with correct shape to muzzle, lean through cheeks, slight stop. Balanced in length. Good size nose. His strong neck holds his head high on the move. Bone, Feet, pasterns true. 

Body is deep, well muscled without coarseness through shoulders. Wide through loin, slight tuck up. Rear quarters are have muscle and good length. Stands his ground do well but comes alive on the move. Pleased to award him BOB.

Susqudilla Yankee Shadow (IMP USA) 15 month male. Masculine head bring broad with good stop. Balanced in proportion. Ears well set on skull. Nice thin lips. Strong muscled neck of good length leading into well laid shoulders. Straight front legs, pasterns slightly sloping. Well developed chest. Topline shows the desired slight hollowness. Ribs are well sprung. Back is held strongly. Would like a little more turn to stifles but this did not hamper his smooth free movement. RBOB

Oakmarsh Haunting Melody (AI) 6 yrs. Good texture to coat. Femine head showing the desired broadness with medium stop. Clear eyes. Neat ear set. Neck of good length with strength. Great shoulders with long blades. Body has well sprung ribs. Rear quarters strong, well turned. Moved freely and powerfully.

Oakmarsh Little Acorn JW RATN 2yrs. Looking at her head its Balanced all through. Ears set well. Good width to skull and good stop. Lovely eyes. Shoulders are set well back with good muscle. Straight front and well boned. Chest is broad, deep. Body has the slight hollowness. Short coupled. Well muscled thighs with a well turned stifles. Moved freely and powerful. BOB.

Curly Coated Retriever

Foxriever Fire Cracker (AI) RBOB what a beauty indeed. Only 17 months and had the most beautiful head. His expression looks you right in the eye. Good eyes and colour. Skull wedge shape parallel planes . Ears set above eye level. Well covered in curls.

Strong arched neck leading into well laid shoulders. Strong pasterns, straight bone. Lovely round feet. Ribs extend well back into powerful loin. Well bent rear. strong and muscular. When he gained his composure he moved so effortlessly. So pleased to award him RBOB. 

Foxriever Fire Fly (AI) beautiful coat condition. Muscled throughout. Has strength throughout body. Not moving his best today.

Limit

Foxriever Immortal Spirit JW BOB. 2yrs. My notes very smart boy. Has a lovely wedged shape head with stop. Ears set high. Eyes oval. Has great depth to chest. Stands well on straight legs and strong in pastern. Well laid shoulders, ribs are well back into short strong loin. Rear quarters are strong with moderate stifle turn. Moved so well with a good stride and drive. Pleased to award him BOB.

Ashbyglen to Honour You BP. A super puppy all through. She oozes quality and style. On first look i found her to be Balanced all over. Handling her she showed how well she is put together. Beautiful head, balanced, broad, chiselled. Wide deep muzzle. Good black nose. Ears set level to eyes. Neck clean into well laid shoulders. Straight front legs, elbows close to body. She is balanced throughout her body rib, chest deep. Held topline very well. Great rear quarters showing thighs, well bent stifles. Round feet. Coat is super to touch. On the move she comes alive with good long stride, powerful drive. I will lookout for her at future shows as she is a star in the making. BP.

2.Messano Sweetness and Light

Lamancha Voyager just 6 months. Another beautiful puppy who stood so well. Beautiful dark eyes, well placed ears. Good skull. Moved so well for a baby. In great coat. 

Special Yearling 

Haydengold Backchat JW 19 mths male. Lovely boy in good condition and coat. Head carriage is true. Head is masculine but not coarse. Good ear set, stop and skull. Chest deep and strong. Legs straight with correct feet. Level topline, ribs well sprung. Rear legs strong, well bent stifles. Tail carried true. Moved with powerful stride. RBOB

Limit 

Ousevale Ocean Breeze at Benrowan good pasterns, shoulders laid back. Deep through chest. Tailset on well. Dark eye, good muzzle. Correct mouth. Balanced skull. Moved very well. 

Dewmist Dolce Vita with Catnnels (IMP SWE) JW good dark eyes, nose. Coat in good order. Pasterns not as strong. Not moving at her best from rear.

1.Gillbryan Midnight in Paris (IMP SWE) 2 yrs B. Great coat. Beautiful feminine head with correct ears. Eyes. Good stop. Very clean in front and deep chest. Feet in good order. Held topline on the move. Good width to thighs. Tail set true and carried level. Overall bone structure correct. Pleased to award BOB. 

English Springer Spaniel 

Puppy

Alhambians Sally Traffic another out going puppy who was enjoying herself. What a poppet she is. Such a feminine girl with substance. Good bone and well shaped feet. Topline held well. Deep chest. Rear quarters have strength and width. Moved very enthusiastic fir a baby. All thus topped with a pretty head. BP

Petranella Strike it Rich good length to neck. Deep stop. Ears set in correct. Coat in good order. Pasterns rather weak at the moment . 

Special Yearling 

Forgespring Nobody's Fool at Blissenbea JW excellent bone. Well shaped feet. Skull is in proportion. Ears long. Well feathered. Straight forelegs. Shoulders sloping. Body is deep, ribs sprung. Good shape to rear quarters with broad thighs. On the move used the ring to advantage striding round well.

2.Dexbenella Believin a Dream is balanced throughout but needs to lose weight as this spoils her. Requires a handler that can move her to advantage.

Limit 

1.Tirofen Typically Braego (KCJ) really used the ring to advantage with a handler that could keep up and let her have her lead which is good to see no stringing up. Overall a good style and shape. Great pasterns and bone. Head has good eye, ear set. Beautiful expression. Lovely lay to shoulders. Rear is balanced and strong. RBOB.

Calverley Padlirowncanoe at Zawspring not much between these two but found this to be heavier in muzzle. Has well set ears with feathering. In good condition and coat.

Khaleesi De Les Tres Llacunes with Alhambian (IMP ESP) 3 yr B. My notes say handler needs to give her more lead on the move. Yes she is enthusiastic but a short lead does not allow her to show her reach. When asked to lengthen the lead she moved so well with a good stride and drive. Great coat in good condition. Well muscled. Strong body, deep chest. Ribs sprung. Bone and feet are good. Ears well feathered. Pleased to award her BOB.
