Thank you to the Officers and Committee for the invitation to judge at this well run and atmospheric

show.

I feel it only fair to mention that the hot and humid conditions did, on occasion, adversely affect

some exhibits, particularly the heavily coated breeds. This is such a shame as it did mean some that

would otherwise have been placed higher had to settle for less. As the judge, you must only assess

what happens on the day and not on what you think they might be like under different conditions.

That said, all bar none, had wonderful temperaments which was a credit to them and their owners.

PUPPY 2,0

1 st 501 – Cooper’s Kelekona Pearls of Hope

8mths. Bitch. Feminine head and expression. Correct eye and ears. Sufficient arch to neck. Good

overall proportions. Still a bit untidy front and back but has a good croup and an easy gait in profile.

2 nd 500 – Cooper’s Kelekona Hearts of Fire.

8mths. Dog. Lovely masculine head and expression. A bit too aware of his surroundings today.

Balanced angulation. Good croup and shown in fit condition. Okay in profile.

1 st 505 – Gatt’s Wicani Belladonna for Bearven

20mths. Bitch. Tri. Balanced head and expression. Nice overall angulation. In nice hard condition.

Easy gait in profile and clean away and back. BOB

2 nd 508 – Moore’s Omordha Sweet Tooth

19mths. Bitch. Blue merle. Feminine and expression. Nice overall balance. A bit too much flex in

pastern at the moment but is clean away.

1 st 511 – Whittaker’s Siluto Silvary Blue Moon

3yrs. Bitch. Blue merle. Feminine head with sweet expression. Okay in bone and overall balance.

Okay in profile.

2 nd 503 – Corben’s Seoirsin Shooting Star via Caprioara

2yrs. Dog. Lovely masculine head and expression. Would prefer a better laid shoulder. Clean away and

is okay for muscle.

3 rd 504 – Gatt’s Imaginist Superior Sun with Bearven.

1 st 499 – Cooper’s Corydon Agatha Cristal with Kelekona

4yrs. Bitch. Nice balance and construction, well muscled. Good feet and bone. Good angulation front

and rear, easy in profile and clean out and back. Understated but a lot to like. RBOB

2 nd 509 – Whittaker’s Siluto Blueberry Mist JW

3yrs. Bitch. Blue Merle. Nice balance overall just not the muscle of 1. Easy gait in profile with decent

angulation.

3 rd 506 – Harvey & Gatt’s Classic Scots Patrick Swayze (IMP DEU)

1 st 545 – Pollard’s Gillandant Just Exquisit

10mths. Bitch. Balanced angulation. Nice head and expression. Front is just a touch better than 2 at

the minute. Nice bone and croup. Okay in profile. BPIB

2 nd 542 – Kennedy’s Gillandant Harvest Night at Pyrcot.

10mths. Dog. Better overall balance than 1 but front still needs to come. Lovely head and

expression. Easy profile movement.

16mths. Dog. Lovely bone and feet. Nicely muscled. Good pigment. Left his brain cell at home today

and once he comes out of the ‘kangaroo phase’ I’d be interested to see him again.

6yrs. Bitch. Nice head. Good pigment. Super overall balance, nice feet and croup. Light ground

covering gait. BOB

2 nd 543 – McBain’s Lisjovia Flaming Drambuie for Willmac.

5yrs. Dog. Again, another that has lovely overall balance. Good bone. Would prefer just a touch

move on the leg. Expertly handled to advantage. RBOB

1 st 229 – Catling’s Lottalove Nordic Gypsy King.

15mths. Dog. Good bone and feet. Still coming together but has a good arch to their neck. Dark eye

on a clearly muscle head. Profile is settling nicely but is still untidy going away. BOB

Solid throughout and in excellent muscled condition. Good bone and feet. Masculine but immature

head and expression. Easy profile gait, with lovely drive from rear on the move.

3yrs. Male. Lovely bone and feet. Balanced head with sufficient stop and muzzle. Shown in excellent,

well muscled condition. Easy, ground covering gait in profile, and rear drive on the move is good.

2 nd 269 – Hewitt & Francis’ Kira Nobis Domine (IMP ITA)

18mths. Bitch. Good forechest and balanced angulation. Sufficient bone. A touch longer in rib and

loin. Still to come together out and back.

Bitch. Almost 3yrs. Feminine head and expression. Easy gain in profile. Well ribbed. Cleaner out and

back than 2.

2 nd 270 - Hewitt & Francis’ Rauchigrotts Haus Finesse

2yrs. Bitch. Pleasing on the stand and nicely muscled. Good croup and feet. A lot to like but still

‘coming together’.

bone. Good croup and nicely muscled. Lovely steady gait in profile and clean away.

Bouvier Des Flandres. 5yrs. Bitch. Flat skull, nice dark eye. Good bone. Shown in excellent, well-

muscled condition. Lovely rhythmic movement in profile. Square in outline.

2 ND 286 – Allen’s IR CH Qimugta Neptunia IR JCH

Canadian Eskimo Dog. Bitch. 3yrs. Feminine foxy expression. Nice balanced angulation. Smooth gait

in profile but a little untidy going away.

Rottweiler. Bitch. 10yrs. Balanced and in proportion. Excellent muscled condition. Greying muzzle.

Steady in movement.

2 nd 238 – Hemsworth’s Hightimbers Travel Tickets NOV EX

Hovawart. Bitch. 8yrs. Again, lovely balance. Good croup. Just lacking the condition of 1.

Portuguese Water Dog. Bitch. 9mths. Nice overall balance. Nice dark eye. Fluid in profile movement.

2 nd 279 – Samuels’ Clehatro Psychic Vortex at Hazylights

Siberian Husky. Bitch. 11mths. A touch long at the minute but easy gait in profile. Foxy head. Nice

coat. Good croup, tight feet.

1 st 283 – Samuels’ Winter Melody Not That Dramatic Yet at Hazylights (IMP POL)

Siberian Husky. Foxy head and expression. Still very much a baby. Nice tight feet. Good coat. Easy

movement in profile.

2 nd 259 – Crisp’s Rarjo Harlequin

Portuguese Water Dog. Dog. 12mths. Just a bit untidy moving away but steadier in profile. Masculine

head, dark eye. Would prefer a touch more second thigh.

Bernese Mountain Dog. Dog. 3yrs. Nice head and expression. Love presentation. Nice tight feet. Very

well muscled. Balanced angulation front and rear. Would prefer just a touch more length.

Sheltie. 10 ½yrs. Lovely head and expression. Tipped ears. Good bone and feet. Fluid mover.

2 nd 358 – Crawford’s Silgarhi O’De Chen at Nytechorus VW

Tibetan Terrier. A close decision but not the muscle condition of 1. However, a lovely turned out

exhibit, well groomed. Easy gait in profile.

3 rd 150 – Hill’s Scalene Solitaire VW - Affenpinscher

PUPPY STAKES.

1 ST 87 – Monaghan’s Tweedsmuir Boulevardier

Spaniel. (Clumber). Clean eyes, good bone and feet. Lovely balance, nice croup. Sufficient muscle.

Good angulation and lovely profile movement.

2 nd 401 – Taylor, Williams & Williams’ Bulldazit’s Armani My Way

Dachshund (Smooth Haired) Conical head. Sufficient forechest and muscle. Lovely feet. Very pleasing

on the move.
