GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG CLUB SCOTLAND OPEN SHOW

I would like to thank the Gsd Club Of Scotland committee for inviting me to judge my first Breed Open Show. My first show dog was actually from Scotland so it might made it very memorable for me. 

Thank you to my stewards on the day and especially the exhibitors who allowed me the pleasure of judging there dogs.

MPD (2/2)

1st Armstrong & McFarlane Fairycross Armani (Ch Blerio Bezique @ Mascani x Fairycross Xsavanna). 7 months upper medium size and strength male, black & tan very well pigmented male of slightly stretched proportions. Masculine head, dark eye, with good reach of neck. Normal withers, and back, good length of croup. Very good front angulations, on the limit of hind angles. Correct coming, little close behind. On the move he showed very good foreword reach and drive for one so young, very promising puppy. BEST PUPPY DOG

2nd Yates & Stevensons. Zetays Boss. (Anton Vom Haus Garyn x Suddick Belle @ Zetays) 6 months medium size compact male. Black and gold, very masculine head,dark eye and very good expression, ears are well placed but need to firm slightly, Good reach of neck, normal withers, short underline, steep croup. Correct viewed from the front and behind. On the move he showed good forward reach and rear drive, but did have tendency to lower his head and loose his wither height. Still a very promising puppy who would benefit from more ring training.

1st Readman Sannah Orion At Wolmer ( Ch Wakematts Tako x Kintaro Lady Sansa of Sannah) 9 months, Black & Tan, large, medium strength, compact male who is out of coat today. Masculine, dark eye, lacking in stop, good reach of neck, normal wither, firm back, croup is of good angle but could be longer, steep upper arm, rear angles, could have more turn of stifle. Very correct away and back. Very firm and dry throughout On the move he would benefit from more hind drive and does raise the tail which does accentuate the shortness of body length.

Special Long Coat Puppy Dog (1/1)

1st Stevensons Zetays Batman. (Anton Vom Haus Garyn x Suddick Belle @ Zetays) 6 months absolute medium size, medium strength, very well pigmented black & tan male. Very good head and expression, dark eye, good reach of neck. High wither, the back does peak slightly, croup is of good length but steep. Upper arm is steep, very well angulated in the rear. Correct viewed from front. Little close behind. On the move he showed good forward reach. Unfortunately on the move he did have a tendency to lower his head and loose his wither height.

1st Lawrie Grauerhund Ace. (Hazroh Xavier x Zandamor Gia) 22 months. Large, medium strength, sable male of stretched proportions. Very masculine head and expression, eye could be darker. Good reach of neck, normal withers, straight back, good length croup. Good front and rear angles. Correct viewed from front a little close behind. He is very firm and dry, does lack coat. On the move he showed good reach and drive.

Post Grad Male (4/3)

1st Turner Rafaye Rickor at Tasella. (Vasco Vom Radhaus x Sadira Remi) 2 years. Upper medium size and strength, well pigmented black & tan male. Masculine head, good expression, dark eye. Good reach of neck, normal withers, straight back, good angle of the croup but could be slightly longer. Very good front and rear angles. Correct viewed away and back. Showed a very good gait with good drive from the rear. 

2nd Rodgerson Siskiva Mr Brightside.( Finleric Lugo @ Sisiva x Barnhart Ornah @ Siskiva) 2 years upper medium size medium strength, well pigmented black & tan male of stretched proportions. Head is masculine but would like him to be stronger dark eye, eyes a little wide set normal withers straight back, good croup. Very well angled front and rear. Correct coming and going. Very good movement 

3rd Mackenzie Maxaroko Ice ( Ch Reno De La Petite Laeticia x Rafaye Snowqueen)

Open Dog (3/2)

1st Pegg Dahlmann Xander ( CH Gayville Vopus x Dahlmann Helena) 3 years large black tan male of slightly stretched proportions. Very masculine head were the eye could be slightly darker. Good reach of neck normal withers straight back into a firm back, correct length and lay of croup. Very well angled front and rear, correct away and back with firm straight rear pasterns. On the move he shows a very good side gait, with powerful hind drive holding a beautiful top line that won him the class and BEST DOG

2nd McAteer & Johnson’s Xano Vom Klostergarten (Conbhairean Vincenzo x Una Vom Klostergarten) 3 years large, strong well pigmented black & tan male with a very good head dark eye and expression. Good reach of neck, normal withers straight back, croup could be longer but is well angled. Very well angled in the front and rear, correct away and back with nice short rear pasterns. On the move he shows a very powerful ground covering gait. Unfortunately he was out of coat today but another very nice male.

1st Johnstones Zetays Achilles @ Hundark (Xano Vom Klostergarten x Suddick Belle @ Zetays) 20 months. Large, strong very well pigmented Black and Tan LSH male. Masculine head, dark eyes and lovely ear carriage. Correct length of neck, high withers, firm back, slightly steep croup. Good front and rear angles. Correct away and back. A real showman with powerful hind drive and front reach. BEST LSH MALE

2nd Gray Kaizuka Bomber. (Jack Von Fenrir x Kaizuka Ausha).3 years. Top size, medium strength very well pigmented black & tan LSH male. Masculine head, dark eye, very good ear carriage. High wither, firm back, good length and lay of the croup. Correct angles front and rear. On the move shows a good side gait but the back does peak slightly.

1st Anderson & Watt Fairycross Atlanta @ Nisyros (CH Blerio Bezique @ Mascani x Fairycross Xsavanna) 6 months Medium size, medium strength richly pigmented Black and Tan female. Feminine head and expression, dark eyes, correct ear carriage. Correct over line, Correct away and back. For one so young she showed excellent drive from the rear with very good front reach and ring presence. Lovely puppy with a very bright future. BEST PUPPY BITCH.

2nd McGrath & Roberson Kleehuegel Kehlan (Schiwago Von Bad-Boll x Kleehuegel. Hetty). 7 months. Upper medium size, medium strength paling black & Gold female of slightly compact proportions. Strong but feminine head. One ear needs to firm slightly, dark eyes. High wither, straight back, croup could be longer. Steep upper arm very good hind angles. Very dry and firm for one so young. Correct away and back. On the move she showed a good side gait.

Correct away and back. On the move she showed good reach but like her brother did have a tendency to lower her head and loose her wither height. BEST LSH PUPPY

Junior Bitch (7/4)

1st De Zutter Langfaulds Estelle (Tornado Du Val D’Anzin x Langfaulds Chic) 13 months. Medium size, black & tan female. Correct height to length proportions. Strong but Feminine head with dark eye. Correct length of neck. Normal wither, straight back the croup is of good length. Correct away and back. Very good front and rear angles, on the move she showed excellent drive and front reach.

2nd Readman. Chelego Yali @ Wolmer. (Sole Della BOcca Dei Vesuvio x Wakematts privit) 16 months. Upper medium size, medium strength very well pigmented black tan female. Very feminine head with dark eyes. Normal wither, straight back , croup could be longer and better angled.. Correct away and back. Very good angles front and rear. She showed good movement but unfortunately lacked enthusiasm today but still a nice female.

3rd McGrath Howlinwolf Whole Of The Moon (Antilli Odin x Mascani Shandor @ Howlinwolf)

Yearling Bitch 3/3)

1st McAteer Rosebud Eddie Of Hundark ( Fairycross Alfie x Renata V Clarco) 23 months. Large sable female, unfortunately out of coat today.. Strong but still feminine head, dark eye. Good reach of neck. Normal withers, straight back. The croup is well angled but could be slightly longer. Very well angled in the front and rear. Correct viewed from the front and rear. This female is very firm and dry and excels on the move. She shows powerful drive from the rear and excellent forward reach. Very nice female.

2nd Pegg Aborientlux Kalya. (Mio Von Team Huhnegrab x Diva Vom Team Panoniansee) 18 months. Medium size, medium strength black & tan female. Feminine head and expression. Dark eye. Good reach of neck. Normal wither, straight back, croup is of good length but steep. Correct angles front and rear. Correct away and back. Showed a good side gait. 

3rd Sobolewska Dark Valley Gallagoth ( Beliarr Vom Skorpionblut x Chilli Kolebka Wardery) 

Post Grad Bitch (6/4)

1st De Zutter Langfaulds Desire. (Gayville Vopus x Langfaulds Chic). 4 years. Black & tan, medium size female. Strong but still feminine head, eye could be slightly darker, good reach of neck. Normal withers, firm back, very good length and lay of the croup. She has excellent front and rear angles, correct height. to length proportions. Correct when viewed from the front and short firm rear pasterns when viewed from the rear. On the move she showed a far reaching gait with very good hind drive holding her lines at all speeds, this won her BOB.

2nd Gouck Craughaire Chewbacca (Conbhairean Tobias x Craughaire Wrizza) 2 years. Top size, medium strength sable female. Unfortunately today she did leave her coat at home. Very good head and expression with dark eye, good reach of neck, normal withers, straight back, croup of good length but could be better angled. Good angles front and rear. Correct away and back. On the move she showed excellent ring present holding her lines at all speeds. 

3rd McGrath Mascani Milan @ Howlinwolf. (CH Blerio Bezique @ Mascani x Margman 

Open Bitch (4/1)

1st McGrath Mascani Denver @ Howlinwolf. 4 years. Upper medium size, medium strength black & tan female of slightly stretched proportions. Very feminine head and expression with dark eye and good ear carriage. Normal withers, straight back, croup is slightly short and flat. Slightly steep upper arm, correct rear angles. Correct viewed from the front. Correct away with short rear pasterns. This female excels on the gait showing strong powerful drive from the rear and excellent forward reach holding her top line at all speeds. 

SpeciLong Coat Open Female (7/5)

1st Mitchell’s Aareet Bonny Lass. (Paluka Valco x Evissa Love) 18 months. Absolute medium size, medium strength, very well pigmented black & Tan Lsh female. Beautiful feminine head and expression with dark eyes and excellent ear carriage. High wither, correct back the croup is steep and does fall away. Very well angled in the front and rear. Does stand slightly 10-2 when viewed from the front, correct from the rear. On the move she showed excellent hind drive with a far reaching gait. Hold her lines at all speeds. Congratulations BEST LONG COAT. 

2nd Dixon, Bibby & Cox Fluffycox Von Shotaan. (Elton Von Blankanera x Napoli Di Casa Palomba) 18 months. Upper medium size, medium strength paling Black and Tan Lsh female. Another female with a beautiful head, expression, dark eyes and excellent ear carriage. High wither, straight back, very good length and lay of the croup. Excellent front, on the limit of hind angulation. Front pasterns are a little weak, correct when viewed from the rear. On the move she showed excellent hind drive and super forward reach. Unfortunately she did play up a bit spoiling her performance and stopped her from pushing the first female but another super Lsh in a very good class of females. 

3rd Townings Yakasimba Bianca (Unique Star Von Ducati x Que Sera Sera X men Storm)
