Many thanks to the committee for inviting me to judge at their show. It was well run day with the weather holding out for us, despite a bit of wind every now and then.

1st Paskins’ Kindeace London’s Calling JW, RBOB. 20-month-old male, correct eye, strong masculine head. Correct, well-developed forechest, ribbing sprung out and extending back. Nice rump and angulation on the rear, well muscled. Moved well coming and going. Lacking coat today. Otherwise, a boy that’s very happy to be in the ring.

1st Paskins’ Delsaux Life Goes On At Kindeace. 22-month-old male, won on movement. Good, strong head with correct eye and deep muzzle. Okay forechest with good ribbing. Nice angulation at the front. Moved round with good drive and purpose. A bit fidgety today on the table.

2nd Foley’s Loggeta Wynn By Myles At Clavennae. 5-year-old bitch, feminine head, nice almond eye, brilliant forechest and keel, good ribbing. Nice angulation at the rear, well covered. Kept topline throughout.

Splitting hairs between 1st and 2nd, very close.

1st Paskins’ Kindeace Hit The Road Jack JW. Nice head and eye. Lovely length of neck, leading into an okay forechest and tight elbows, good keel. Kept topline throughout, well muscled with good angulation, brilliant movement showing off his drive around the ring.

2nd Wedge’s Dolan Johnny Be Good. Another male with a lovely head and strong muzzle, correct eye and nice expression. Well-developed front with correct elbows, nice angulation, better ribbing than 1st, lost topline on occasion on the move.

3rd Paskins’ Kindeace Texas Ranger ShCEx.

Have to comment that this was a lovely class full of well-groomed and muscular dogs, despite their ages. Each one had their positives and it was very close in their placings; could easily go another way on a different day.

1st Paskins’ Cedavoch It’s Taboo At Kindeace VW, BOB, BV. 9-year-old male, definitely not showing his age. Lovely coat, smooth and straight. Masculine head, correct dentition and eye. Okay forechest, tight elbows. Good ribbing extending well back. Nice keel, lovely angulation. Moved well with good drive, powering round the ring with ease, keeping topline throughout.

2nd Bailey’s CH Glasvey Double Trouble For Loggeta JW VW. 9-year-old bitch, beautiful feminine head, deep chest and tight elbows with correct placement. Nicely balanced bitch, okay rear angulation, correct coat. Nicely muscled, kept topline throughout. Felt the heat was starting to get to her when called back in for the challenge, highly considered for RBOB.

1st Osbourne’s Cloudside Xander Around Braego. Male with harsh coat and lovely facial furnishings, showing off a lovely head with a masculine expression. Nice length of neck leading into good front with correct shoulder placement, well ribbed with nice keel. Nice angulation on the rear with good tail set. Kept topline throughout, moved okay.

2nd Cox’s Bulldaxit’s Wildest Dream. Again, correct coat with good facial furnishings. Lovely feminine head with good length of neck. Would have preferred a more developed front, nice tight elbows and good length of ribbing. Although, would have liked to see more power from behind on the move.

1st Cox’s Bulldaxit Like A Dream. Litter sister to 2nd in Puppy. Harsh coat with good beard and eyebrows. Feminine head with lovely expression. Good length of neck leading into satisfactory forechest with well-placed elbows and good length of ribbing. Correct tail set with good rear angulation. Moved well with purpose and drive throughout the ring, maintaining topline throughout. BP.

1st Hayes Ottnott Doreen Martha. Feminine head with correct almond-shaped eye, correct coat type with facial furnishings. Good length of neck leading into well-developed chest. Good length of ribbing, good angulation; would have liked a touch more on the rear. Very well-muscled dog, which showed in her movement, displaying power and drive. Very much enjoying her day today. BOB.

1st Cox’s Hopewood Que Sera Sera Avec Bulldaxit. Nice head and expression leading into a good length neck, elegant in profile. Good forechest and well-sprung ribs. Harsh, correct coat. Showed well, with good reach and drive, and was well muscled. RBOB.

1st Coverley’s Aventine Dolcetto. Correct eye and head shape. Okay forechest with tight elbows. Well-developed ribbing, correct tail set. Moved well, showing drive round the ring, keeping topline throughout. Correct coat with satisfactory furnishings, well presented. BV.

2nd Osbourne’s Derochaise Vincenzo Di Braego. Masculine head leading into good length of neck. Nicely balanced outline on the table. Would have liked elbow to be tighter but was well ribbed. Correct coat, moved well, occasionally losing topline on the move.

Puppy 2/2

1st Starkey’s Fredanna Moonlight Cyores At Hamoura. Slightly fidgety, but preferred overall balance of this puppy. Masculine head with almond eye, nice depth of muzzle and good expression. Good length of neck, well-developed forechest with tight elbows and good angulation. Ribbing set well back and was well expanded, strong topline with correct tail set. Moved with purpose. BP.

2nd Taylor’s Bulldaxit’s Armani My Way. Red dog, higher on the leg than 1st, good head. Not the width of 1st, tight elbows with well-constructed front. Would prefer more angulation on the rear. Ribbing extended back. Good movement, showing off strong topline throughout. Handled well.

Junior 2/2

1st Macdonald’s Hampdach Fixin The Breeze With Bensarka. This boy caught my attention when he entered the ring. Showed off a strong masculine head with correct almond eye, good dentition and an excellent expression. Good length of neck, elegant in profile, with a well-constructed forechest, tight elbows, good ribbing with nice depth of chest. Nicely balanced dog from profile. Moved true coming and going with purpose, showing good reach and drive with an excellent topline. BOB, RBIS.

2nd Taylor’s Bulldaxit’s Armani My Way. Puppy class 2nd.

Yearling 1/2

1st Graham’s Melriding Kaiserine At Ravold. Feminine head with lovely eye. A bit unsure today. Nice length of neck with good forechest, tight elbows and nicely ribbed going well back. Adequate rear angulation. Level topline throughout. Settled on the move, showing off good front reach.

Postgraduate 1/1

1st Halsall’s Scipsar Just Give Me a Reason To Kiddles. Masculine head, good eye and expression. Good front, although I would have preferred it to be slightly more developed. Lovely length of neck with tight elbows. Well ribbed. Kept topline throughout. Moved true, showing parallel drive coming and going.

1st Valentine’s Empetthounds Genesis Into Tiffwazz. Feminine head with nice oval eye. Good front with good depth of chest, well-set elbows. Ribbing extended well back. Good topline throughout, moved well round the ring.

Very close class, could easily go another way on another day.

1st Taylor’s Hampdach Cheeky Chaooy At Whitewebbs. Strong masculine head, well-conditioned dog with excellent forechest with tight elbows. Ribbed well back with excellent keel. Good movement with true drive and purpose shown. Strong topline. RBOB.

2nd Norton’s Matzell Martinella. Similar remarks to 1st lovely forechest with tight elbows and good ribbing. Powered round the ring showing good drive especially for her age. BV.

3rd Macdonald, Macdonald and Coxon’s Aust CH Tischamingo The Last.

Veteran 3/3

1st Norton’s Matzell Martinella. Same as 2nd in Open class.

2nd Cox’s Dovestream Black Russian At Dachshinbull. Black and tan male, nice head and eye with good hound expression. Good forechest. Strong feet, with good angulation. Good undercarriage. Kept topline throughout. Moved well, but preferred the overall balance and movement of 1st.

3rd Valentine’s Amlida Tamora To Tiffwazz.
