Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge a lovely, friendly show, and thanks to my steward. I enjoyed my day.

COLLIE (SMOOTH)

VETERAN DOG 1

1. Denton’s Rylance Moonshine Over Brackenhaye, 8 yrs. A blue merle of good colour with desired markings and full collar. Average height and everything in proportion. Eye could be a little darker, good ears with correct tip, and correct stop. Good topline with rise over loins evident, tail to hock. Good angulations, giving him nice, brisk movement. BVD

JUNIOR DOG 1

1, Denton’s Coldelee Take It To The Limit, 18 months, sable. I liked the look of this lad as soon as he came into the ring. A masculine boy, all in proportion with correct stop, good parallels and almond shaped eye giving lovely alert expression. Used his ears well. Nice, balanced angulations, moved well with reaching stride. At only 18 months should have good future ahead. Pleased to award BD, BOB and he was ultimately awarded BIS.

Well balanced angulations, stood parallel from behind, tail to hock, could have done with more drive.
