Dundee Canine Club - Sat 6th June 2026

Thanks to the committee for the invite to judge, I had a really enjoyable day doing my first terrier group. Thanks to all exhibitors for their super entry and support as well. 

Terrier Group 1 – CH ALSHANCORN SAYS WHO JW (SBT) – She caught my eye on the first look round; she is striking and agile in appearance. Correct broad skill, good stop and short in foreface. Good clean neck into shoulders. Level topline and deep well sprung ribs. She has well bent stifles and on the move was so free flowing yet powerful gait. Was very pleased to award her Group 1. Group 2 - Roberts & Murray – CH CASSJOEBAR CALEDONIA FROM MINDLEN JW (PRT) what a beautiful bitch she is full of quality without exaggeration. Correct wedge-shaped head, very clean over the neck & shoulders. Good fore angulation with legs well under body, good depth to chest. Good bend of stifle and strong over loin. On the move she really came into her own showing how well made she is, showing lovely free striding movement from every angle. Group 3 MULIEBRITY TOUCH OF GOLD (AIRDALE TERRIER), Lovely outline when stood. Head correct with skull long & flat. Clean over neck leading into well laid shoulders. Good straight front. Level topline and good spring of ribs. Good angulation to rear which was used well on the move. Good parallel strides when moving. Group 4 CHADBROOK TORSTEN SHCEX (BORTER TERRIER) Lovely head and expression with short strong muzzle. Forelegs straight and good angulation to the rear. When moving, was very sound and active. Correct both coming and going. 

Terrier Puppy Group 1 CHADBROOK CHOCOLATE CHIP (JRT) What a lovely puppy this is. She is well balanced for her age, slightly longer than tall. Correct head and skull with strong muzzle. Good, keen expression. Strong and clean in neck leading to good straight front. Strong in rear angulation with good oval feet. Tail carried correct and in balance with her. Lovely free moving in profile. Pleased to award BOB & Puppy group 1. Group 2 MIDNIGHT BELLE (Welsh Terrier) what a smart puppy, well balanced and compact in outline. Good flat skull well laid-back shoulders and correct straight front. Hocks well bent at rear and moved well around the ring, Group 3 CASSJOEBAR ROUGH DIAMOND (PRT) Nice puppy, slightly up on his legs at the moment but to be expected. Everything there to develop as he grows on. Good head and expression. Nice straight front and moved well around the ring. Group 4 VANGERBULL RUBI (SBT). Well balanced puppy. Good in head with short muzzle and deep skull. Well developed in ribs and good angulation fore and aft. Moved well around the ring.

1stMcCluskey & Young – CHADBROOK CHOCOLATE CHIP – BOB & Puppy Group 1 as above

2nd Mackay – LOCHEIL I AINT NO QUITTER – Lovely young dog. He presents such a balanced picture when stood. Plenty of stop and good ear set. Very clean neck leading to well laid shoulders. Correct depth of chest and rib. Excels in front and rear angulation, which he uses to his advantage around the ring, moving fore and aft. Coat a little blown today.

3RD Galloway – CHADBROOK TREACLE AT LEJAMLA

Jack Russell Terrier – Post Graduate

1st Galloway – NAVIGAREAMOR PLATINMUM POST AT LEJAMLA. Strong bitch with a good outline when stood. It has plenty front angulation, but slightly wide in front. Good level back and well sprung ribs. Strong rear angulation and moved out well around the ring. 

2ND Thomlinson – NORTHDRUM DOUBLE JEOPARDY. Not quite the schooling yet but getting there. When stood has enough front and rear angulation. Would prefer more stop but ears of good level with skull. Moved well. 

Jack Russell Terrier – Limit

1st McCluskey – TILTSER VOULEZ VOUS AVEC CHADBROOK. Lovely young dog. Presents balanced picture when stood. Has pleasing head and expression, good amount of stop and ears level with flat skull and of correct length. Would prefer eyes a little darker, but he is clean over neck and shoulder. Good spring to rib and depth to chest. Good straight front. Moves well but preferred the free moving of the puppy today for BOB. 

2ND Roberts & Murray – DUCKLINGS JR JUST QUTIE OF MINDLEN. 10 y/o bitch who is a credit. Thank you for bringing her as very much still enjoying the shows. She has a good head, correct length of muzzle to skull. Well sprung ribs. She moves with drive around the ring. 

3RD Galloway – NAVIGAREMORE TO NUTKINS TAIL AT LEJAMLA

Jack Russell Terrier – Open

1st McCluskey & Young – CHADBROOK ARRAN JW. Another lovely dog from this kennel. He is so balanced when stood and has nothing to hide. Correct angulation both fore and aft. Head is balanced and ears set correctly on level with the skull. He has a straight front and good oval feet. He is balanced in outline and drives well around the ring. 

2nd Spencer & Roberts – JACKANDFISH SHADY LADY (IMP ITA). Strong, active looking bitch. She is of good size and has a correct keen expression. Pleasing head, with good straight front and angulations both fore and aft. Chest oval and held level topline. Moved with drive. 

Parson Russell Terrier – Special Yearling

1st Roberts & Murray – CH CASSJOEBAR CALEDONIA FROM MINDLEN JW – BOB and Group 2 – As above

2nd Casson – CASSJOEBAR ROUGH DIAMOND. BP & Puppy Group 3 as above

Parson Russell Terrier – Open

1st Roberts & Murray – CH MINDLEN MOCCASIN. A quality bitch all through. Workmanlike without any exaggeration. She has a good flat skull, with correct shallow stop. Keen expression. Clean over neck into shoulders. Good straight front. Good depth of chest and spring of rib. She is balanced all through and has free striding movement. 

2nd McCluskey & Young – CHADBROOK ELKA VW. Another quality bitch. Good flat skull and correct ear set. She is well balanced throughout. Straight in front, with plenty depth to chest and enough spring of rib. She is free striding when moving and tail carried well up on the move. Best Terrier Veteran,

1st Norket Lui– EBLANAHALLS GOLD FASCINUS JW (SCWT). Lovely SCWT, presents a good compact outline when stood. He is well balanced, showing good angulation and muscle. Hindlegs well develops and uses to his advantage when moving.

1st McNiven - Frazandmitch Top of The Game at Dajaveil ShEx (Scottish Terrier). Nice dog, agile and alert. Well rounded in ribs and deep chest. Topline straight. Powerful hindquarters that used to advantage on the move.

1st SANDTI EASY ON ME – Beautiful Golden Retriever bitch. She really excels on the move. She has a balanced head, broad skull but gentle no coarseness. She is balanced with good depth of chest. She has a level topline which is held on the move. She is strong in rear and moved well both going and coming. 

2nd KALASLANE IRISH EYES AT NEUKIEBEAR (IKC) - Striking RBT. Well balanced throughout and well proportioned and robust. Clean, yet powerful neck leading to well placed shoulders. Good angulation fore and aft and moved around the ring with ease. 

AV LYNSHOW/OROSHAZA SPECIAL YEARLING STAKES

1st SMOORIKEN GONNA NODAE THAT – What a lovely great dane, caught my eye straight away and demands attention. Present such a balanced outline. Clean neck into well placed shoulders. Good topline into tail set. Moved around the ring easily and so true coming and going. 

2nd BADCALL DREAM WEAVER - FCR – balanced picture when stood. Happy lively in nature. Good spring of rib and length of loin. Moved around the ring well driving from the rear. 

AV Dundee CC Open Dog Stakes

1st NORTHBAY XSELLS CANT B’LEAFE MY I’S – Australian Shepard who presented well in outline. He has good head and skull. Ears well set. Balanced throughout for angulation and well sprung ribs and body. Used the ring well when moving, with driving action. 

2nd HOLINBRAE ZOOM TIME AT GLENTOCHTY – Lovely Golden ret. Has balance yet refined throughout. Good topline and angulation fore aft. Drove around the ring on strong powerful hindlegs. 

AV Dundee CC Open Bitch Stakes

1st CH JOPIUM DARK AND DEMURE JW – Another quality Australian Shepard. Balanced throughout and good angulation. Held topline well and drove around the ring with ease. 

2nd CRÈME CREW I’M THE ONE – Toy Poodle – Pleasing in outline when stood. Well proportioned throughout. Tended to sidewind when moving.

1st JAVAL GANGSTA BOO – Italian Spin who is well made throughout. Has pleasing head and expression. Good depth to chest and spring of rib. Moved well with driving action. 

2nd CALWINII’S VALENTINA ROSE JW SHEX OSW – Corgi that moved around the ring well. Balanced in outline and tail carried correctly.

AV NOT BRED BY EXHIBITOR

1st NOBLEMOON TAK THE HIGH ROAD TO GLENTOCHTY VW – Golden ret male that defies his age. He moved like a youngster demanding your attention. Pleasing head and expression. Good angulation throughout. A credit to his owner.

1st THORNYWAIT ATOMIC BETTY FOR SANDTI – Another Golden Ret who is a credit. Defying his 11 years enjoying his day out and everything balanced and correct. Sweet and gentle expression. Moved well.
