Breed: Boxer

Wickford, Basildon & District Canine Society Open Show

 Saturday 16th May 2026

Firstly I wish to extend my thanks to the Committee for the opportunity to judge the Boxer breed at your show and for the very warm welcome I received on arrival.

The weather was lovely and I thoroughly enjoyed my day.

1ST Puppy

Bantambox HoneyBee at Braybox

An 8 month old Red and White girl with a pretty feminine head, nicely arched neck and dark appealing eyes. She is well constructed with a good topline and is well balanced overall for her age. She has good tight feet and a pleasing expression culminating in an overall good quality puppy

When on the move she covered the ground well, moving with plenty of forward reach and drive from the rear.

She was at one with her handler and seemed to be thoroughly enjoying her day.

I was pleased to award her Best Puppy In Breed.

1ST Junior

Lottalove Nordic Gypsy King

A 14 month old Dark Brindle and White Dog with a black mask.

He had a nice expression with expressive dark eyes and the correct amount of wrinkle. He appeared to have a good temperament and appeared well balanced.

He is well muscled, has a deep chest and showed well when on the move.

1ST Limit

Bonmac Little Star (JW)

A lovely Brindle and White Girl.  A two year old, with a clean head, well shaped dark eyes and a nicely padded muzzle.

Her feminine expressive features were evident, and together with a well arched neck leading to a good shoulders and level topline, made this girl very attractive.

Her movement didn’t disappoint as she moved nicely around the ring.

She was my choice for Best Of Breed which I felt was well deserved.

1ST Open

Millions Diddles From Newlaithe

A 7 year old Red and White Bitch who did not look her age. She was nicely presented and had a nice head with dark kind eyes and a pleasing expression.

She had a well arched neck and firm, slightly sloping shoulders leading to a nice topline and a correct tail set. She had cat like feet and well arched toes.

This combination gave a well balanced and pleasing appearance overall.

She moved extremely well for her age and covered the ground with intent and ease.

She was my choice for Reserve Best of Breed
