1 Foote & Mcaulay & Gail & Anderson's Erylan Phoebe Petite Bijou – a lot to like about this 2 yr old feminine youg lady. Lovely to go over, liked her headpiece, balanced, good planes, proportions and a dark sparkling eye. Nicely balanced throughout with nothing overdone. Clean though front, ribs, topline and tailsey. Well angled rear and presented in tip top condition. She was handled well and moved cleanly all ways and a good pace, covering the ground in style. (BOB, Group 3)

2 Wyllie's Tangaer Jemima Puddleduck At Callydena. 16 mths another who pleased for size and balance. Well built throughout, ample bone, balanced and good angles. Typical in head. Moved cleanly and with style. Well handled.

Beagle PG (2, 0)

1 Kilgour's Gempeni Heartbeat Of Kilmorbeag – 2 yr old male. Pleasing to go over, Masculine in head, ample neck, clean topline and tailset, with some behind. Well ribbed. Moved cleanly all ways.(BOB)

2 Kavanagh's Parkebreeway Summer. 14 mths, on her toes today and kept her handler busy. A lovely head piece, ample bone, well ribbed back, clean topline and nicely angled throughout.

Saluki O (3, 0)

1 Phillips' Ch Luachmhar Jamilah Shcex – A quality black and fawn, who oozes elegance, lovely for size, type and balance. Typical in head, clean through neck and shoulders and a well made front. Correct bone, well ribbed, depth, correct top and underline. Well angled throughout. Not fully settled with herself today, but the quality is undeniable and the movement excellent, when settled.(BOB)

2 Phillips' Luachmhar Jala. I now note this is the sister to the winner. Obviously very similar attributes in a slightly smaller frame. Not quite the ring presence or movement of 1, but that said of excellent type.

1 Legget's Uk/Ir Ch. Swanwite Take A Chance On Me (Shcex) Cw25 Vw –I have judged this male several times, he always puts on a performance and today was no exception. He flowed on the move and was well up for it, covering the ground impressively and in typical style. Stacked hes a picture, from head to to toe, of good size and balance and presented in tip top condition. Good to see him go on to top awards later in the day. (BOB, BVIB, Group 1, Veteran Group 1, Reserve Best Veteran in Show)

2 Legget's Here We Go Again At Swanwite JW. Another who I have given top honour’s to before. Very typical throughout and cuts a good picture stacked. Full of breed type, balanced and put down in good condition. She was rather unsettled today and not as positive on the move as her older kennel mate.

Basset Hound O (6, 3)

1 Cruickshank's Culsalmond Diamond Bling – 8 mth old brother and sister topped the class. Both have good qualities and it will be interesting to see how they progress. Just preferred the overall balance of the girl today. Very typical in head, good planes, ample neck, good bone, well ribbed and strong rear assembly. Liked the top and underline. Very clean and brisk on the move.(BOB, BPIB, Puppy Group 2)

2 Cruickshank's Culsalmond Bling It Ron. A little longer cast than his sister, strong typical head piece, excellent in neck, masculine, with quality bone, clean topline and rear assemvbly that is developing well. Clean on the move covering the ground well.

Rhodesian Ridgeback J (1, 0)

1 Willunat's Clauwill Oliver Junior Jw. This young man is of good type and size. Masculine in head, dark eye and good ears. clean through neck, well made front and good ribbing. Tailset ok well angled rear. Moved cleanly all ways.

Rhodesian Ridgeback PG (3, 1)

1 Shaw's Negasi Goldberry. A strongly built bitch, balanced through head, long neck.clean front and ribbed well back. Deep in brisket . clean top and underline. Presented in excellent hard condition. Moved very well.

2 Rossini's Kensesqui Touch Of Love. Smaller framed than the winner and not the substance of 1. Was presented in good muscletone, shes balanced , smart head, lean topline and croup. Would like more depth of brisket. Sporting a rich coloured jacket.

Rhodesian Ridgeback O (3, 0)

1 Ritchie's Jimanns Hell On Heels Shcex - A balanced 3 yr old, who had the required substance, but was not overdone. She has a good height to length ratio. Feminine through head, but with the required strength.lovely length of neck and a clean front assembly. Liked her underline, topline, croup and tailset. She has strong quarters and good rear angulation. Very pleasing on the eye, which also was confirmed on the move, where she strode out at a steady pace, covering the ground with style and purpose, with a strong reach and drive from behind. (BOB)

2 Shaw's Negasi Radagast (Jw)(Shcex)(Osw) male 4 ½ years who was put down in excellent condition.strength in head, clean neck and front, excellent bone, body with substance, but not overdone. Good length to height ratio. Moved well in profile covering the ground.

Afghan Hound O (2, 1)

1 French's Sitana Silver Surfer At Zalmeerah – 22 month, cream with black mask. Presented very well and gave a good picture stacked. Very pleasing through head, with typical expressiom, good jaw and ears, ok through neck and front. Clean rear angulation. Covered the ground, but would like him a bit more together on the move. (BOB)

Borzoi O (3, 1)

1 Dollan's Scotach High And Mighty – 3 yr old male, who pleased through head and was of typical shape and balance. Preferred him over his brother, more balanced and cleaner and more free flowing on the move. Both were presented in excellent condition and were a credit o their owner. Pleasing height to length ratio, ample neck, clean in front , clean top and underlines, with depth of brisket and ribbed back. Clean croup and well formed quarters with clean angulation. (BOB, Group 4)

Deerhound O (4, 1)

1 Harvey's Hyndsight All In My Mind (Taf) – this young lady was a little nervy at times and was unsettled, but her quality shone through. So well built on a good frame. Typical in head, clean front, ribs with good depth, clean topline, croup and tailset. Liked her angles and bone, not too heavy. She moved well with style and purpose. (BOB)

2 Clabby's Humbiehounds Jazz It Up. Strong headed girl who was heavier throughout than the winner. Gave a good picture stacked, with good ribbing and crop. Strong quarters. Presented in good jacket.

AVNSC Hound PG (3, 2)

1 Cunningham & Steel's Forest Fallow. Bavarian mountain hound. Not in his happy place today, but when he got his head in gear did a good job on the move, covering the ground cleanly. Pleased through head, neck, ribs topline and angles. In excellent condition.

AVNSC Hound O (3, 1)

1 Anderson's Cyrenensis Khaleesi Of Whitglen - cirneco del etna. Loved this 7 yr old. Such a balanced picture stacked, feminine and of quality. Typical in head, clean through crested neck, clean front and nicely ribbed, lovely under and toplie finished off with a clean croup and tailset. Nicely formed rear, quarters, angles and hocks. Stood on clean feet. Moved with typical style.BOB, BVIB, Veteran Group 2)

2 Mcgrory's Beabass Roxana With Fuoriditesta. 5 yr old fauve. Feminine sweet expression, good bone and ribbing, ample bone and good topline. In good condition.

1 Anderson's Cyrenensis Khaleesi Of Whitglen - (BOB, BVIB, Veteran Group 2)

2 French's Trust Queen Buddha At Zalmeerah(Rus Imp) 7 yr old veteran. Well, presented and put down in good condition. Moved typically covering the ground in a flowing style. Tidy through head, neck, ribs and topline.

AV J Stakes J (48, 0)

1 Stephen's Kamarri Step Ahead – 15 mth black male standard poodle who really impressed and out of this very large class, jumped out at me. Quality, balance, presentation and movement, all top draw. So clean to go over from his typical head, which had strength, his expression, clean through neck, strength in vbody, angles front and rear. Coat preparation and trimming, handled well and very pleasing covering the ground with style. Was good to see he also won his group and BIS later in the day. (BOB, Group 1, Best in Show)

2 Tollin's Launix Rising From The Ashes. Toy poodle, who again was difficult to fault. Looked a picture both stacked and on the move. Lovely to go over with typical head and expression. Balanced throughout and of good breed type.

2. Whippet. Hunter's Ch Collooney Was Meant To Be At Sulahmara Jw Schex Osw. Smart brindle and white dog, very balanced and typical thropughou. Liked his clean, clean lines, correct topline and clean underline. Well angled throughout. Moved well.

Hound Puppy Group. 

1. Dachshund Smooth. Mills, Cedavoch Squall. 10 mth smth bitch. Did enough on the move to clinch top spot of a nice line up of puppies. Feminine typical conical head, clean neck and level topline. Excellent keel and legs well under and tucked in. ribbed well back, clean croup and tailset. Moved well, true and free.
