11 month red merle NBT bitch who is well angulated at both ends with a good reach of neck, straight front with good bone and flexible pasterns, good depth of chest, and well muscled hindquarters. She has a pleasing head and expression with a good balance of skull to muzzle, well filled foreface, good ear set and carriage and obliquely set almond shaped eyes. She moved soundly from all angles.

14 month red merle NBT male who scored in maturity over the pup in this class and I preferred his balance of length to height. His head is carried proudly on a well arched neck and he has well laid shoulders and return of upper arm, a straight front with flexible pasterns, good depth of chest and length of ribcage, level topline, short firm loin, and well-muscled hindquarters with a good bend of stifle and well let down hocks. No mistaking his gender, he has a masculine head with well defined stop, good underjaw, correct eye shape and placement and well used ears giving an alert expression. He moved true with an easy ground covering action.

Black tri NBT male, nice for size and substance, with a gleaming black coat of good texture. Well balanced head with a distinct stop, well placed eye and good ear set and carriage, combining to give a kind expression. He is well made throughout and moved accordingly, but he tended to tuck his hindquarters under him when standing which spoilt his outline.

Nicely balanced fawn bitch of lovely breed type with a pleasing outline. Correct head proportions with skull and muzzle of equal length, good mouth and underjaw, dark expressive eye with good pigment, and high set well carried ears. Arched neck of good length, well laid shoulders, straight front with strong bone, level topline and slope over croup to a long low set tail with characteristic hook. Well angulated and well muscled hindquarters allowed her to move with drive.

Attractive 14 month male, stood foursquare presenting a pleasing picture. Loved his head and expression with correct proportions, moderate stop, nicely rounded muzzle, tight lips, dark obliquely set eye and small well used ears. Almost square in shape with a neck of good length, well laid shoulders, good depth of chest, straight front with flexible pasterns, level back, well set and carried tail, and hind angulation balanced with forequarters. Pushed hard for BOB but not as steady on the move as the Limit winner.

She has a muscular neck of good length, well laid shoulders and return of upper arm, straight front with good bone, level topline, well angulated hindquarters and a well set and carried tail. Graceful on the move with good reach and drive.

Quality 10 month old bitch, very nicely balanced with a pleasing square outline. Nicely arched neck of good length, well laid shoulders, straight front with good bone, enough depth of chest for age, well ribbed back, strong loin, nicely angulated hindquarters with good bend of stifle and well let down hocks. She moved well from all angles. Delighted to see her go BPIS.
2nd Wilkinson’s Kalaju Dream A Little Dream
11 month bitch, who also appealed for shape, size and substance. She too has a pleasing head with a feminine expression, skull and muzzle of equal length, correct stop, dark eyes and well set ears. She has a good reach of neck and her angulation is balanced at both ends, good depth of chest and slight rise over a firm loin to a well feathered tail. Steady mover with good drive from the rear.

Promising 7 months male, nice for size for his age with a balanced outline. Attractive head with a broad skull tapering to a strong muzzle, smooth cheeks, dark almond shaped eye, well set and carried ears, and very good pigmentation. He has moderate angulation at both ends, a straight front with flexible pasterns, level topline and slope over croup to a long tail. He obviously still has some developing to do in chest and ribcage but he was very sound and steady on the move with excellent profile action.
2nd Greenfield’s Kalkasi Eternal Legacy
11 months more mature male. Strong head of good proportions with well set ears and dark almond shaped eyes giving a kind yet masculine expression Good reach of neck, well laid shoulders and return of upper arm, tight elbows, straight front, level topline, tail to hock, well angulated and muscled hindquarters. Moved true but not as settled as 1st.

She has a good reach of neck, very good layback of shoulder and return of upper arm, level topline, good tail set and length, and well angulated hindquarters, enabling her to move with reach and drive. Coat of good texture and beautifully presented.

Nearly 5 year old male of good breed type, standing foursquare with a balanced outline. Pleasing head with dark almond shaped eyes, well placed ears, lovely pigmentation and a soft intelligent expression. He has a muscular neck of good length, level topline, well laid shoulders and length of upper arm, straight front, good bend of stifle, well let down hocks and correct feet. Just preferred the movement of the Limit winner when it came to the challenge.

She moved very soundly from all angles.

Brindle litter brother of 1st and sharing many of the same attributes. Typical foxy head of correct proportions with a dark eye and well carried ears giving an alert expression. He has a muscular neck, is well angulated fore and aft, with a straight front with strong bone, good forechest and ribcage. Preferred the topline of his sister and on the day she was more steady on the move, but still a quality example of the breed.

She has a strong neck, moderate angulation at both ends, straight front, enough depth of chest, level topline and slope over croup to a low set long tail with desired curve at the tip. The coat she had was of good harsh texture. Sound moving from all angles with an efficent ground covering action.

Pretty 4 year old bitch I have met before. Nice for size with a compact body and stands naturally foursquare. Pleasing head with parallel planes of skull to muzzle, moderate stop, nicely rounded muzzle, good underjaw, dark obliquely set eye and high set ears. Carries her head proudly on an arched neck of good length, well laid shoulders and return of upper arm, straight front with strong bone, good depth of chest, level topline, gentle slope over croup to a long low set tail, and well muscled hindquarters. Very attentive showgirl and moved with a brisk free action.
2nd Hudson’s Mournebrake Also An Angel (Hungarian Puli)
White male, another I have judged before and was unlucky to meet 1st as he is an excellent example of his breed with the typical square outline. His head proportions are correct with a slightly domed skull, well defined stop, dark eyes, and medium ears set below the level of his skull, and excellent pigment. Muscular neck of medium length, well laid shoulders, tight elbows, straight front with fine bone, good depth of chest and spring of rib, level back, short strong loin, and slight slope over croup to a correctly carried tail, strong hindquarters with well bent stifles and low set hocks. Nicely corded coat, well presented. Moved out well with a lively gait.

Very nicely balanced b/m bitch I have done well before. Of excellent breed type and she stands foursquare presenting a super outline, showing non-stop for her handler. Her conformation is copybook, and she is well muscled which shows in her smooth and effortless movement.
2nd Rutterford’s Kelgrove Midsummer Blue at Stormhead (Shetland Sheepdog)
B/m male, nice for size and substance. His head has a good balance of skull to muzzle, correct stop, nicely filled foreface, good underjaw, dark almond shaped eye and neat well carried ears giving him a sweet expression. He has a good reach of neck, well laid shoulders, level topline and slope over the croup to a low set tail. On the move he could not match the profile movement of 1st.

Really loved the balance, shape and substance of this 8 month girl. She has a feminine head with skull and muzzle of equal length, medium stop, well filled foreface, obliquely set almond shaped eyes and high set ears carried alertly. She has a nicely arched neck of good length, well laid shoulders, straight front with flexible pasterns, enough depth of chest for her age, level topline, slope over croup to a low set tail, well bent stifles, low set hocks and neat oval feet. She excels on the move with an easy ground covering action. An exciting prospect, I shall follow her career with interest.
2nd De Haaff’s Krieger’s New Illusion (Dobermann)
What a shame these two had to meet, because this br/r girl gave me goosebumps as well, and I hated having to choose between them! She was presented to perfection, standing foursquare with an elegant outline that draws the eye. Her head is the desired blunt wedge with a flat skull, slight stop, muzzle of equal length, dark almond shaped eyes and neat ears lying close to the head, giving a soft intelligent expression. She has a good reach of neck, well laid shoulders and return of upper arm, straight front with good bone for her ideal size, good forechest and spring of rib, gently sloping topline, well set and carried tail, muscular hindquarters with a good bend of stifle and well let down hocks. She moved true from all angles with good reach and drive. Another to watch.

I met this youngster earlier in the day when he took the VHC in a very strong Open Stakes class. Attractive 20 months male who presents a balanced outline. Pleasing head with well defined stop, correct balance of skull to muzzle, dark eyes, and well set ears combining to give an intelligent expression. He is well angulated at both ends with a straight front, good depth of chest and spring of rib, strongly muscled hindquarters and a well set and carried tail. Shown in lovely coat and condition. He moved true with good reach and drive.

Male of good breed type with a super outline and a gleaming black jacket. Nice for shape and size with good bone. Brown bitch with a pleasing expression. Strong head of correct proportions with good width and breadth of muzzle, almond shaped eyes and well set ears. She has a good reach of neck, and balanced angulation both ends, straight front with strong bone, good depth of chest and spring of rib, but I would prefer a slightly more compact body and firmer topline. She moved well enough with drive from the rear and good reach in profile.
