Breed: Whippet

P (4, 1A) 1 & BP Cooper’s Ballauren’s You Got It. Pretty 11 month old, straight forelimbs, needs to fill into chest, most accurate to and fro on the move. Good angles, moderate all through, quality head with well-set eyes and ears and good pigmentation. 2 Lahood’s Starceylon Polifemo. Nice, friendly and confident young male with very attractive markings, good tuck up, compact cat-like feet. Not the extension in front of 1. 3 Chappell’s Blueflight Blizzard of Oz.

J (4) 1 Leverett’s Whippiness Eyes Down. Lovely blue, accurate mover, nice make and shape, tapering muzzle, eyes perhaps a touch round, rose-shaped ears which were well set, bladed bone, good underline, carrying the correct amount of weight over the ribs with ribs extending well back. 2 B You Got It. 3 Scullion’s Pelyma Surely I’m Striking.

PG (6, 2a) 1 Middleton & Gilhooly’s Treviskey Spice of Life Stormida. Almost 8 years old, most fluid movement in class, didn’t show her age, nice bend of pastern, very calm, handled so sympathetically, balanced profile, strong forelegs with correct slightly sloping front pasterns. 2 Lahood’s Starceylon Spectre. Excellent condition, very well handled and showed well, ample neck, sloping croup, low set tail, not as accurate coming towards and going away. 3 De Graffham’s Cleeton We Go Together at Firesprite.

L (9, 5a) 1 & RBOB Allansson & Macdonald’s Zoraden Simply The Zest of Macalldon JW. Beautifully handled and in excellent condition, very smooth gait in side profile, tail was carried low on the move, good length of neck, strong and straight forelegs, well bent stifles, tail was set low and tapered. 2 Steel & Baulch’s Tigsisle Time After Time with Moyles. Smaller mould and more compact with lots of power and drive from well muscled rear quarters, tail was carried low, very accurate to and fro. 3 Middleton & Gilhooly’s Stomida Neon Tiger.

O (6, 1a) 1 & BOB Longhurst’s Abbeyhurst Dancing Queen JW. Have judged this one before and still like her. Long and lean in head, well set ears and brown in colour. A nice size standing over plenty of ground, she has a smooth, tireless and efficient side profile movement, very good strength in rear quarters and therefore had plenty of drive. 2 Cooper’s Crosscop Im Alwayz Yours at Ballauren JW. A smaller mould with a smaller head to match her body, beautifully handled and her rose shaped ears were placed in a pleasing position, she covered the ground well with each step. 3 Middleton & Gilhooly’s Stormida Squirrels For Tea.
