Basset Fauve De Bretagne, Borzoi, Irish Wolfhound, Sloughi

Basset Fauve De Bretagne Post Graduate (0,0)

Basset Fauve De Bretagne Open (1,0)

1. Pocklington-Hall’s Merlin Do Casal Dos Choupos (Imp PRT) ShCEx VW. 10 year old dog, in excellent nick for his age. Good head proportions, fairly good shoulder and very good upper arm, good bone and feet, firm topline, excellent rear movement and very good profile, coat a little softer than ideal. BOB.

Borzoi Post Graduate (2,0)

1. Dover’s Sukeshi Hot Dancer at Keanver. A feminine bitch, excellent proportions and enough shape but wouldn’t like any less of her. Pleasing long head with dark eyes. Stands true and four square. Sound and fluid on the move covering fair ground holding her topline. RBOB.

2. Dover’s Everwyck Golden Psammead at Keanver. Plenty of shape to his outline which I preferred, excellent for bone and feet, not the front construction or fluidity of movement of 1.

Borzoi Open (1,0)

1. Dover’s Palamedees Arian Khrysos at Keanver JW ShCEx OSW. A pleasing mature male, nicely made all through and in good body. Long, masculine head, though maximum amount of stop. Good for depth and spring of rib. Stands over himself well. Balanced and strong hindquarters. An accurate and fairly ground covering mover holding enough shape to his outline. BOB.

Irish Wolfhound Special Yearling (1,1)

Irish Wolfhound Post Graduate (1,0)

1. McNulty’s Rixymanor Major. Perhaps could have a bit more height to him but he is a solid male with plenty bone and substance. Smooth and flowing in outline. Masculine head, enough neck and fairly well made through the front. Balanced rear quarters with enough strength. Not the longest stride, but moves freely and is sound, which won him BOB. BOB.

Irish Wolfhound Open (2,1)

1. Taylor’s Bribiba’s Highland Prince at Critaylor. Pleasing for size and proportions. Liked his head which had good length and detail, with lovely dark eyes and pleasing expression. Would prefer more angulation in front construction. Not the strength and drive from the rear as the previous class winner. RBOB.

Sloughi Post Graduate (1,1)
