1st Tamlin Date Nut Loaf at Whitebarn (Mrs M Hoggarth) (BP) - 6mth brindle male at his first show. What a sweetheart! Already presenting a sturdy outline, he had a decent headpiece demonstrating width to back skull and tapering to his muzzle. Medium dark eye, wide earset and of large size - not yet in full control of them. He had a good lay of shoulder, slightly bowed forearm, level topline and parallel rear hocks. Excellent bone. Currently unsure what is expected of him in the ring but demonstrated excellent temperament. Good luck with him. BP.

1st Ancksunamun Host of Goa’uld with Yecartracey (Mrs T M Smith)- 18mth blk tri with brindle points. Strong masculine head, his ears were large, set wide and rounded tip. Gentle eye with fill underneath giving pleasing expression. Decent reach of neck, prominent forechest is developing, and his chest is well wrapped by his forearm but not overdone. Moderate in angulation and the required brush tail carried proudly. Moved evenly and with purpose. 

2nd Hundahilli Pimpinelli (Mrs Ke Clarke) - 2yr blk tri brindle bitch. Sweet expressive girl, head required 3-5 proportion with moderate stop. Her front angulation was a little out of balance for me with a good shoulder placement but a little short in upper arm, needing her forearm to wrap a little more to encompass her chest. Hence giving way to 1st. Even and sound on the move.

1st Twinan True Grit (Miss T J Irving) - 18mth brindle - this boy was a joy to go over. Going through a little shy phase but cannot take away from his fabulous construction and amazing bone. He filled my hands. Balanced all through, his head is A1 for proportion and balanced with his wide set and good size ears giving me the wide triangle I was looking for. Dark expressive eye. Substantial neck, decent lay of shoulder and good length of upper arm. Prominent fore chest, well framed by his forearms. Comes into his own on the move, his rear propels him, complemented by a good reach in front with a minimum of lift. I adored his feet and couldn’t take my eye off his rear as he moved away. A good education. Pleased to award BOB and delighted to see him take the group later in the day. 

2nd Ceranda Gower Diamond JW (Mrs T M Smith) - 4yr paler brindle bitch who was feminine and moderate all through. Her head was balanced with expressive ear correctly set. Her angulations were balanced and moderate, I would prefer a little more to give the required thrust from the rear. An easy steady mover who held her topline.

1st Twinan Truly Outrageous (Miss T J Irving) - 18mth eye catchingly marked lighter tri brindle bitch. Littermate to limit and took more than her fair share of the spirit in that litter. Great attitude. Foxy in appearance, her head of required 3-5 dimensions, moderate stop and with required dome over the eye. Wide set ear. She had length to her neck, good lay of shoulder and excellent front extension. Balanced in her rear with a decent tailset, she pushed herself happily round the ring from her well-muscled behind. Res. BOB.

1st Born to Be Your Unicum with Twinan (Imp Hun) (Miss T J Irving) - Smart 10mth sable/white male. Presented the overall correct body proportions, and a lovely head. Correctly set medium size ears, round dark eye with a touch of mischief and taking everything in. Decent length of neck, well placed shoulder and good fore chest, length of loin not overdone and stood on neat feet. Set for a decent future. BP. 

2nd Born to Be Your Chain Bridge at Twinan (Imp Hun) (Miss T J Irving) - Litter mate bitch to my 1st place with similar attributes in bitch form, just not quite the attitude and showmanship of her brother. She needed a little more time to settle. Ears set a little wider than her brother giving a pensive expression. With security in her surroundings I feel she could present herself much better in due course. 

Junior (4,1)

1st Levisbrooks Lunar Eclipse (Miss J Young) - 14mth tri sable boy. Compact in appearance he had an alert expression, correct eye shape and placement with excellent pigment which really aided his appeal. Ear set correct, jet black nose to complement the picture. Strength to his neck and strong topline, he had balanced gentle angulation on the stand and move. Personally would prefer more layback of shoulder and rear drive, but perfectly sound.

2nd Twinan Put Some Jam On It (Miss T J Irving) - 15mth excitable sable male who was very much enjoying his day. Overall larger size than 1st and very much a boy in his teenage phase – both body and mind. Pleasing head and sweet dark eye, decent underjaw. Has the boy frame and desired length to his loin, now just needs time to fill. Preferred the current balance of 1st.  

3rd Twinan Across My Heart (Miss T J Irving)

1st Highashes Hits The Spot JW (Mrs R Hollingworth) - 19mth hardy sable bitch in amazing physical condition. Head with desired 3-5 proportion, blunt stop, ears wide set and correctly placed eye. Decent length to her neck without being overdone, she had a good layback of shoulder, decent upper arm and a rear to complement the fore. She moved out with good reach, and powered from her rear. Topline held and very much in balance all through. Really liked her – she was what I was looking for in this breed today. BOB congratulations and pleased to see shortlisted in a strong group. I feel success will come to this bitch. 

2nd Twinan Put Some Jam On It (Miss T J Irving)

1st Ermyn Lionheart (Miss J Young) - 2yr sable male. Correctly proportioned head with a decent stop. Angulations balanced in front and rear. Compact in body. Decent depth to chest but would prefer a touch more leg length to carry it better. Moved evenly. 

Open (8,4) Quality class to judge and tough to split between 1st and 2nd. Thanks to the exhibitors for challenging me!

1st Born to Be Your C’est La Vie at Twinan (Imp Hun) (Miss T J Irving) - This 2yr male won this class on his ground coverage and free, forward reach. Substantial head, yet gentle kind expression. Correctly proportioned with a decent depth to muzzle and strong jaw. Black nose which I had to strongly resist the urge to boop. Well laid shoulder and good return of upper arm. His rear was well angulated and this was further demonstrated on the move. Wonderful shape feet. Balanced throughout. RBOB. 

2nd Twinan Raise The Bar for Fablecroft JW (Mrs H L & Miss C Hulse & Adams) - My first note about this male is about his feet. Just perfect. Balanced proportions in both head and body and angulations were in harmony with each other. His brisket was proportionately slightly deeper than 1st . Preferred the forward reach and free movement of 1st.
