What an honour to be invited to Judge at their 40th Anniversary show, the committee through to the helpers where great. Many thanks to my ring stewards over both days, you all worked continually and kept the rings running smoothly. Thanks also to the sportsmanship of the exhibitors, I had some very hard decisions as the quality of the dogs were so high.

Best In Show

BIS 659 - Sh Ch Nyllaup Akoya Pearl for Grakar JW ShCEx OSW, Breed: Spaniel (Irish Water) (Mr G, Mrs K & Miss Z Stirk) This young lady entered the ring with a statement of “look at me”, what a show girl, 2 yrs old and mature, she is built for a days work yet no denying her femineity, well made from Head to Tail, moved with power, great reach and drive, I could have watched her move all day, Stunning.

 RBIS 3 - Snowshoes Sweet Symphony, Breed: Alaskan Malamute (Mrs J E & Miss J Smith) Another young lady with show presence, 20 mths old and mature yet nothing over done with a powerful build, from her broad head to the tip of her tail was of great proportions and not overdone, movement was powerful and cover the ground with ease.

BPIS 404 - Snowmeadow Una Ulisse, Breed: Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier (Dr P & Mrs C & Miss C Jefferies) This 10mth lady had great confidence and never stopped showing, well made through out with correct proportions and compact, very graceful on the move with good reach and drive.

RBP 20 - Shalissa's Chanel, Breed: Dobermann (Mrs L Webb) Another 10 mths old young lady with style and grace, powerful throughout with her in top condition, well made and square outline, when she settled on the move she powered around the ring.

BVIS 235 - Russiandream Cody Fleming for Shamal, Breed: Russian Toy (Mrs J Casey) 7 ½ yrs old male, he was so attentive to his handler and never put a foot wrong, what a great team to watch, covering the ground with get action.

RBV 781 - Bryntreia Whispered Love at Palmik JW ShCEx OSW, Breed: Whippet (Ms E A Woodward) just over 7yrs old and in top condition, very clean lines all over, pushed all the way, great movement and covering the ground with ease.

BCIS 673 - Ch Soletrader Splish Splash JW, Breed: Basset Griffon Vendeen (Petit) (Mr K D & Mrs E Cadmore) 21/2 yrs old bitch that is well balanced throughout, in top condition all over and covering the ground with reach and drive, a credit to her owners.

BRBO 458 - Henaleas Go West at Teignestuary, Breed: Irish Setter (S M & N W Full)31/2 yrs old Male in great condition which showed on the move with reach and drive keeping his topline throughout. Not too heavily coated which added to the pleasing outline.

G2 165 - Carleeto Red Velvet JW, Breed: Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (Mrs C Lewis) 20mths old dog, very pleasing head with good eye set, mature body with dept of chest, great lay of shoulder, well made rear, moved with reach and drive with a level topline. 

G3 241 - Beauborne Stefani Topmead, Breed: Griffon Bruxellois (Miss R Green) Rough,3yrs old bitch, very pleasing large head, medium neck length onto well laid shoulder, good body, well-muscled, with great movement, reach & drive. 

G4 213 - Panspayon Natasha JW ShCEx OSW, Breed: Papillon (Miss S Orchard) 3 yrs old bitch, which showed the whole time in the ring, very pleasing head, good neck onto well laid shoulders, balanced body, moved well.

G1 221 - Klassna Macho Is Back, Breed: Pomeranian (Mrs N Davey) 7mts old dog, with great proportioned head etc., well made under a great coat, a real checky character, great mover. 

G2 205 - Hawksflight Seeing Stars, Breed: Miniature Pinscher (Miss L Crouch) 8mts old bitch, what a young lady oozing character, great head proportions with high set ears, length of neck onto well laid shoulders, good body length with great rear, all of which showed in her true movement. 

G3 219 - Sunset Sea Breeze Bart at Metamorphic (Imp Ita), Breed: Papillon (The Rev'd K J & Ms A J Wells & Brown) 8mts old dog, good head proportions with good ear fringing’s, well made body of correct size, moved well. 

G4 180 - Yorone Too Timer via Inixia, Breed: Chihuahua (Smooth Coat) (Mrs S Stanbury) 7mts old dog, also pleasing head etc. good body shape, unfortunately he was upset by a dog in the next ring and never showed himself to the best in the breed class, much more settled in the Toy Puppy Group.
