Puppy (7,4)

1.      Page & Howell’s Winflash Coco By Chanel. 6months old and every bit the baby but is so feminine and elegant with a well balanced outline, firm topline, good angulation fore and aft with strong bone and good feet. Such a lovely head and expression with dark eyes and well set and used ears. Moved with super reach and drive, holding her outline firm. A beautiful puppy who is sure to do well as she matures. RBOB, BP, Puppy Group 3.

2.      Williams & Tanswell’s Carodal Welcome Way Via Waltzaway. 10 month dog who is mature for his age with good chest and ribbing, level topline and strong loin. Masculine head of good proportions and alert expression. Moved freely with a good length of stride.

3.      Reide-West's Jemblewood Northern Stalk.

Junior (4,3)

1.      Cattermole & Richards’ Anima Cordis Man In The Mirror For Kalvadene For Halfwenna (imp pol). Nicely marked13 month liver dog who moves freely looking good in profile, could be better going away but should improve with maturity.  Pleasing outline, good depth of chest, well sprung ribs, balanced front and rear angulation. Pleasant head with nice eyes and expression. Lovely temperament.

Post Grad (4,1)

1.      Page & Howell’s Olilou It’s Gucci at Winflash. 18month bitch with good neck, straight front, good bone, firm topline, strong loin and moderate front and rear angulation. Pretty head with well set and used ears, bright oval eyes, well balanced length of muzzle, clean lips and strong jaw. Moved freely.

2.      Hobbs & Whiting’s Rapanooey Ross of Mull. Really liked this one but he just wasn’t making the best of himself. Lovely balance to his outline with good front and rear angulation, well ribbed back to strong loin, firm topline and well muscled throughout.  Masculine head with moderate stop, correct length of muzzle, nice eyes and expression. Very nice on the move, accurate in all directions and covers the ground well in profile, just needs a little more confidence.

3.      Moss & Page’s Winflash Valentina.

Open (4,2)

1.      Page & Howell’s Winflash Tom Ford. Strong, masculine young dog with well balanced, elegant outline. Good neck and topline, deep chest and good ribbing, strong loin and well angulated rear, good bone and feet. Handsome head with intelligent expression and dark eyes. Moved with a smooth, powerful action covering the ground with ease, holding his outline firm. In beautiful coat and condition and handled to an advantage. BOB.

2.      Stebbing’s Steyndal Baroness. 3yr liver of nice balance. Feminine and elegant with good depth of chest, could be straighter in front. Pretty head and alert expression. Moved soundly.

Puppy (4,1)

1.      Gilkes & Finnanger’s Hin Chen’s Obsession (Imp Nor) Lovely shih tzu puppy with super substance and bone, well balanced length of body, good chest and ribbing firm topline and lovely tail carriage. Beautiful head and expression, well spaced dark eyes, short muzzle and good nostrils. In superb coat and condition, moving with a purpose, accurate out and back and holding a lovely outline in profile. BP

2.      Hill’s Xanto Z Temnych Noci (imp cze). Very vocal Klein with appealing head properties and alert expression. Squarely built with good spring of rib, moderate angulation fore and aft and well set and carried tail. Moved smartly, not as settled out and back as 1.

3.      Dickson’s Kessaku I Predict a Riot in Bernavia

Junior (5,2)

1.      Spanias’s Charids Queen of Hearts. The sweetest young Chow Chow who is perfectly schooled and so attentive to her handler. Beautiful head with good pigment all through, nice eyes and typical scowling expression.  Strong neck into sound front assembly good ribbing and topline and correctly angulated rear. Moved with a typical action holding her outline firm. Still young with plenty of maturing to do but should finish very nicely.

2.      Kent’s Mystyle The Duchess at Unverdadero. Very nice Bulldog with beautiful head, flat between neat ears, well placed dark eyes, deep stop, good width and depth to jaw with good upturn. Strong neck, sound front and rear assembly, good chest and ribbing. Moved well and presented in superb condition.

3.      Dickson’s K. I Predict a Riot in B.

Post Grad (3,2)

1.      Masters’ Aprika Graceland. Boston Terrier bitch who I’ve judged previously and have always admired. Such a beautiful head and expression, dark eyes, open nostrils and well set and used ears. The smartest outline with perfect topline, balanced front and rear angulation, good bone and feet. Moves with a smart, effortless action, outline firm and accurate in all directions. Best AVNSC Utility, G2.

Open (5,3)

1.      Fisher’s Shulian San Angelo Star at Poppykins JW Shcex OSW. Another nice Chow Chow, this one a mature dog presented in good coat and condition. Balanced in outline with good topline and tail carriage, well sprung ribs, good bone and feet and good front and rear assembly. Handsome head of good proportions, good pigment, nice eyes, well set and used ears, good muzzle and mouth. Moved with a sound, typical action. Reserve Best AVNSC.

2.      Dawson’s Quinnhalo Single Pringle JW. Shar Pei who had his mind on other things so wasn’t making the best of himself. In beautiful condition and lovely harsh coat, squarely built with good ribbing and well set tail. Well proportioned head with alert expression from his nice eyes, good pigment and neat ears, Moved well as he settled.

Imp Reg Utility

Open (3,1)

1.      Cunningham’s Kwest’s Eunhasu at Yulyeong (imp pri) 6 month Jindo who really looked a picture on the move. Nice for size with a balanced outline, firm topline and well set and carried tail. Correctly shaped head with well set and used ears, small dark eyes and well finished muzzle. Only a baby but made a really good account of herself. BOB, Pup Group 4.

2.      Cunningham’s Yulyeong Special Edition. Another Jindo, this one a little older but not as together as her kennelmate at present and couldn’t match her outline on the move. Still, soundly constructed with good balance to her outline and a nice head, just needs some time and maturity.

Puppy (12,7)

1.      Williams & Tanswell’s Carodal Welcome Way Via Waltzaway. See Dalmatian.

2.      Crummey’s Deelayne Dancing in the Dark. Beautifully presented lhasa with compact outline, well ribbed back, firm topline and well set and carried tail. Nice head with good mouth, nice eyes and resolute expression. Moved well but could have a little more reach and drive.

3.      Cunningham’s Yulyeong Special Edition.

Open (8,5)

1.      Guy’s Middanwinter War Horse at Kerelkoor. Kooiker who really impressed on the move with his free, accurate gait all the while maintaining his outline. Good neck and shoulders, firm topline, well angulated rear, good chest and ribbing, good bone and feet. Correctly shaped head with well set ears, expressive eyes, well balanced length of muzzle and neatly finished lips. Handled well and presented in super condition.

2.      Mannion & Jarvis’s Waterley White Lotus. TT presented in pristine white coat, square and sturdy with good topline, well set and carried tail, good bone and feet. Masculine head with strong muzzle and dark eyes. Moved well but could have more reach in front.

3.      Johnson’s Waterley Rumour Has It at Ellmarvern JW.

Veteran (11,3) Superb class of veterans.

1.      Parker, Saunders & Mcdonald’s Ch. Silversocks Shot In The Dark with Violis. Just 7yrs old, this Mini Schnauzer didn’t look old enough to even be in the class! Super smart outline, compact and well balanced with good neck, topline and tail carriage. Handsome, masculine head with the darkest eyes and dense pigment, strong jaw and neat ears. Moved so well in all directions holding his outline firm. As always from this kennel his coat was presented to prefection.

2.      Johnson’s Sensation Vom Tespelkooi of Valleyrise VW (imp Deu) The most beautiful Kooiker heading towards her 11th birthday but hiding her age so well. Such a beautiful head and expression, totally attentive to her handler with dark eyes, well set and used ears and nicely finished muzzle. Well constructed and in impressive condition allowing her to move with ease, covering the ground effortlessly with outline firm. Very unlucky to meet 1.

3.      Cunningham’s Int/Ir Ch Yulyeong Warrior Princess Ir Jch.

Utility Group

1.      Parker, Saunders & Mcdonald’s Risepark First Stage JW. Mini Schnauzer. Another smart dog from this kennel who showed his socks off to top this group. Presented without a hair out of place, super head and expression and a smart, balanced outline.

2.      Master’s Aprika Graceland. Boston Terrier

3.      Ford’s Castafiore Isabella. Tibetan Spaniel. A really lovely little bitch with such an appealing outline and the prettiest of heads. Moved very smartly.

4.      Hattrell’s Valento Mystique at Khinjan. Lhasa Apso. Only a puppy but such a class act. Beautifully constructed, super head and expression and carrying a glorious coat in pristine condition. Moved with such a jaunty gait, a future champion I have no doubt.

1.      Hattrell’s Valento Mystique at Khinjan. Lhasa Apso

2.      Cooper’s Susu The Show Must Go On.Tibetan Spaniel. Very close up to 1 and another that is bound to carry her title. Lovely for size and balance with good substance and bone. Gorgeous head and expression, moving well in all directions.

3.      Page & Howell’s Winflash Coco By Chanel. Dalmatian

4.      Cunningham’s Kwest’s Eunhasu at Yulyeong (imp pri) K. Jindo.

Veteran Stakes

1.      Slack, Newton & Williams’ Ch/Can Ch/ Am Ch Macduff’s Critical Acclaim. PWD. One I have judged before and can never fail to be impressed by him. My opinion hasn’t changed, his head and expression is fabulous, his construction is so impressive and on the move he couldn’t be beaten. Presented in the most fabulous condition looking every bit the champion that he is.

2.      Rivers’ Talraz Comedy Act for Kyleca VW. Bearded Collie.  Nearly 9 years old and still in fabulous coat and condition. Circled the ring with an effortless action and good length of stride. Strong neck into good shoulder, well ribbed back, firm topline and well angulated rear. Lovely head and soft expression.
