Best In Show: Stephens’ Brightmeadow Rumour Has It JW. Curly Coated Retriever who caught my eye immediately. Beautiful outline flowing elegantly from head to tail. Strong neck into lovely shoulders, super chest and ribbing, strong rear, firm topline and well set and carried tail. Handsome head with such a kind expression. In superb coat and condition, moving as effortlessly and accurately as his conformation suggested. A real class act.

Reserve Best In Show: Lambert’s Sturtmoor’s Gon’n Dun it JW. This Norwegian Buhund had caught my eye in the ring earlier in the day and i was delighted to see him come through as a group winner. Super smart outline and such a showman always standing to an advantage eyes fixed on his handler. Well proportioned head with well set and used ears, dark eyes and alert expression. Moved with a light, easy action covering the ground well.

Best Puppy In Show: Pearman’s Weipowa Shaken Not Stirred for Britmans. I thought this Weimaraner was the standout winner in this lineup and took the top spot with some to spare. Such a smart outline with good angulation fore and aft, firm topline, super chest and ribbing and in such fabulous well muscled condition, just gleaming with health. Handsome head with bright eyes and expression. Covered the ground with ease, accurate and purposeful all the while holding his outline firm.

Reserve Best Puppy In Show: Rumming’s Tafari The Shadow Khaleesi Under Druavella. Standard Poodle who I had made my utility winner, still showing her heart out and deserving of the runner up spot here.

Best Veteran In Show: Beach’s Riowood Arizona JW. It was ultimately a battle of the Dachshunds and it was the mini smooth that had the edge but both are superb and were easily two of the best dogs I judged all day. It is wonderful to see such quality in the veteran competitions.

Reserve Best Veteran In Show: Stark’s CH. Adnerbs Won Vision of Gobannium JW OSW.
