Tredegar & District Canine Society

I would like to sincerely thank the Secretary and Committee for inviting me to judge these breeds. It was a very well-organised show, and I was exceptionally well looked after throughout the day. The accommodation and hospitality provided were greatly appreciated, and I felt thoroughly spoiled. There was a lovely atmosphere, both within the Committee and amongst the exhibitors, which made the day particularly enjoyable.

Thank you to everyone who entered and exhibited under me. It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to go over your dogs and I very much appreciated your support.

1. Ciasman Maailman Toisella Puolen 11 months old sable bitch. Nicely square and compact body, well set tail on high held over her back. Dark eyes and correctly set ears contribute to her pleasing expression. Her outer coat is a little soft in texture at present but she wasn’t in full coat and she is still young. Her coat falls well, without excess or exaggeration. She really came into her own on the move, displaying effortless, graceful movement and presenting herself confidently and consistently. A very promising young bitch who fully deserved BOB and Best Puppy.

1. Ciasman Ala Droppaa Mun Tunnelmaa (Imp Fin) Two-year-old black male, nicely matured, with a magnificent harsh, well-textured coat and correct scissor bite. I felt he was slightly long in loin, which detracted somewhat from the desired square proportions and compact outline. His tail carriage was a little flatter to the body than my overall winner. A lovely dog with much to admire. He was less settled on the move in the first class, although a change of handler appeared to benefit him in the challenge, where he presented himself much more confidently. Ultimately, the young bitch had the advantage in overall balance and movement on the day. RBOB
