1. Kimetsu Ayuki Kori Go at Kasaishiro 19-month-old white bitch, with good coat texture, although unfortunately out of coat on the day. Dark, obliquely set eyes contribute to her characteristic expression. A pleasing head with good breed type and character, correct scissor bite and good pigmentation to the lips and eye rims, providing pleasing contrast against her white coat. However, her movement lacked the efficient, moderate and purposeful stride I would expect of the breed. A promising young bitch with some lovely breed qualities, but movement let her down on the day. 1. Ryuukita Burning Talisman at Kasaishiro (IKC) Three-year-old red male with well-defined urajiro markings appropriate to the breed and colour. He was more out of coat than the other class winner, although his outer coat was nicely harsh in texture. I would very much like to see him again in full coat.

A mature male displaying the masculinity, substance and sexual dimorphism I would expect when comparing the sexes in this breed. He had lovely breed type, with dark, obliquely set eyes, correctly set ears and a correct scissor bite. His well-developed neck and shoulders gave him a strong, masculine front assembly. He moved with a powerful, effortless stride, demonstrating the strength and efficiency I look for in the breed, and this gave him the advantage over the female on the day.

I would have liked to see more substance and muscular development through the rear, particularly in the thighs, although his rear angulation was moderate and balanced. A lovely mature male with much to admire. Lovely breed type BOB.
