Bearded Collie

Class 150 Junior- 2 entries

1st Tybury's Arya's Legend for Ellishar (Ms S Jenkinson)

This young bitch is very eye catching especially on the move. Nicely proportioned and well balanced. Lovely square head and nose with correct eye colour. Good depth of chest but would prefer more length in rib, however she is still young. Correct topline and and height to length ratio, allowing her to move freely around the ring with good reach and drive. She had a very dark coat for a blue but roots are correct to her colour and it is a lovely sight to see. BPIB

2nd Clovabrae Zulu (Mrs Lj Tuck)

There was a lot to like about this boy and it was a close competition between these two youngsters. This young dark male was a good quality dog of good proportions. Well angulated, good depth of chest and nice length of rib. Lovely square head with good eye colour. Prefered movement of 1 on the day.

Class 151 Post Graduate- 2 entries, 1 abs

1st Debbeacol Devoted to You (Mrs D Weightman)

Feminine bitch of good quality. Stood alone in this class but was a worthy winner. She has a sweet expression and nice dark eyes. Well-proportioned bitch, good depth of chest. Nicely angulated and good turn of stifle allowing her to move smoothly in the ring with good reach and drive. Good parallel front and hindquarters on the stand on the move. Correct eye colour and good dentition.

Class 152 Open- 7 entries, 3 abs

1st Adjucet Stand by Me (Mrs R E & Mr I Kneeshaw)

This veteran brown bitch was a joy to watch. Great head with a strong muzzle. A very nicely constructed bitch, well-proportioned and well balanced of good length. Topline slightly dipping at times only on stand. Good muscle and great parallel legs on stand and on move. Freestanding lovely after moving showing her quality. All these qualities were well applied on the move, allowing her to show good reach and drive. What I liked most about her was her supple and effortless movement. BOB

2nd Sylvabrae Newton’s Law (Miss S E Butcher)

I really like this masculine dog and on a different day might have gone another way. Great quality square head with a stong muzzle of masculine type. Good deep chest and deep ribs of correct length. Nicely proportioned and well balanced. Good turn of stifle. I wish he had more space to move freely as the ring was too small for him and I'm sure he would of had a better stride in a different ring, however on the day this is what I have seen. He was a lovely dog.
