Wath, West Melton & District Canine Society Open Show 28 February 2026 Papillon P (5/1) 1. Slater’s Zizula Love Was Born to Shine 11 month old female. A beautiful, well-balanced very promising puppy and a lovely mover, presented to perfection. She has a lovely head with correct ear placement, dark round eyes and correct scissor bite. Enough length of neck into clean forehand for angles and toning. Well ribbed up, firm level topline good length of loin and well developed quarters giving her an easy movement from all angles. Tail set on high and carried well. Stands on excellent feet. Well prepared in coat and body toning. Very pleasing overall. BPIB 2. Keown’s Keomandi Remus 6 month old male. Still very much a baby, but I loved his head and overall type. A little nervous today, which is understandable in such a big venue with plenty to take in. His head is coming on well at this stage he just needs time to fully develop. Well angulated fore and aft giving him a balanced outline in profile. Ample spring of ribbing, topline needs to strengthen with time which given his build is purely age related. Tail carried correctly on the move, with beautiful bone and good feet. Very promising and well presented. J (5/1) 1. Headley’s Yeldaeh’s Mr Tumble 17 month old male. A lovely example of the breed who moved very well. A lovely head to go over strong without being overdone in any department, distinct stop, well set dark eyes and mobile ears set back. Strong jaws and dark pigmentation all through. Forehand is well constructed and matched by his quarters giving him the ability to cover the ground with a fluent and ground covering stride. In harmony with his handler, comes to rest standing four square with minimal fuss from his handler. Shown in the best of coats to complete the very good picture. BOB today 2. Headley’s Yeldaeh’s Mr Fezzywig Litter brother to first with many of the same attributes as far as his overall construction is concerned. Well balanced in angulation fore and aft, good depth of chest and spring of rib, firm in topline thanks in part to his body toning. Movement was a little erratic at times, but overall satisfactory. Well presented in fine jacket. PG (6/2) 1. Slater’s Bresar’s Almeno Tu Nell Universo In Zizula JW (Imp Ita) Rising 3 year old male of lovely type, with a pleasant overall shape and well-balanced proportions. Strong proportionate head to body ratios. Ears set back and mobile, dark expressive eyes and rims, strength in jaws, complete dentition and scissor bite. Fair length of neck into well angulated front with matching quarters, although slightly on the larger side, he remained well balanced and moved very well. Lovely show boy with perfect handling. 2. Headley’s Yeldaeh’s Miss Havisham JW 15 month old female, lovely in profile with a beautiful head. Scores well in forehand with enough bone, straight limbs and elbows tight to chest. Well ribbed up, topline firm and level at all times whether static or on the move, where she is smooth and in unison with her handler. O (5/3) 1. Holmes’ Kasper Margenis at Summerjade (Imp Lit) A beautiful 4 ¼ year old male with a lovely coat, presented to perfection. A good mover, showing off correct balance and construction. I would prefer a little more neck, but what he has is adequate. Very nice head with correct ears. Superb show temperament. RBOB 2. Grist’s Amdo’s Vixen 3 old female. Very pleasant, but I felt she was slightly overweight and would benefit from some attention to dentition. She has a very nice expression, with correct ears and good head proportions. Forehand is moderately angulated and would like a tad more in length of leg. Ample depth of chest and spring of ribbing. Topline could be stronger when standing. Shown in good jacket. Chinese Crested My first time judging this breed, and I absolutely fell in love. Beautiful dogs — an absolute pleasure to see the breed close up, and such quality on the day. Thank you so much to the exhibitors for presenting your dogs under me. An absolute delight. P (2/0) 1. Crow & Walker’s Petwalk Breaks The Law with Casacavallo [KCJ] 10 month old male. So beautiful, with a superb temperament and lovely presentation. Scores well in head being strong and proportionate without being overdone in any way. Chiselled features, dark almond eyes and low set ears. Good length of neck easing cleanly into well laid shoulders and straight front. Broad in chest, well ribbed up and just enough tuck up. A real show boy who moved like a dream. Shown in overall good condition. A very big future for this lovely puppy. My BPIB & RBOB. 2. Watson’s Be My Dog’s Orla Basta at Cacodom 10 month-old female of lovely type. I loved her head and very feminine expression. Front assembly is well angulated and matched in her quarters. Good shape to ribbing with ample depth of chest. Holds her topline on the move but she was a little uncomfortable with the noise and venue today, but for one so young this is understandable and as such wasn’t as coordinated as winner in this department but her time will come. J (2/0) Two beautiful boys, litter brothers that were both presented extremely well. 1. Watson’s Karamouche Pandamonium 2 years old, is a lovely type and full of charm. Good head to handle proportionate with chiselled features, perceptible stop, dark almond eyes set wide apart, low set ears in line with the eyes, strong jaws with complete dentition and scissor bite. Forehand is well angulated and toned supported by good length of leg. Deep in chest, good ribbing and firm in back. Hindquarters are strong with plenty of width allowing the fluency on the move that I absolutely loved when watching him going around the ring, he went superbly and has that amazing presence that is so pleasing to see. BOB 2. Peppett’s Karamouche Top Hat ‘N’ Tails He is very similar in overall quality to his litter mate but on the day I just preferred the head and movement of the first. He head needs to finish more then they will swap places I’m sure. Dark almond eyes, full clean dentition and strength in jaw. Good length of neck to strong forehand that is moderately angulated with good length of leg. Well ribbed up, firm level back thanks to his muscular quarters. As mentioned movement wasn’t as fluent as his brother today. PG (1/0) 1. Peacock’s Pufflepaws Yes Sir Can Boogi with Iapea 2 year old powder puff male, beautifully presented. He has a correct head, size and shape, dark almond eyes set apart, ears set on and carries well, full clean dentition with correct scissor bite. Ample length of neck flowing into strong moderately angulated forehand. Enough in ribbing, deep in chest and level in back thanks to his muscular well angulated quarters. Moves freely with drive from the rear and good side gait. Lovely type and character. 0 (2/0) 1 Crow’s CH Kojiki’s The Look Of Love at Casacavallo JW 3 ¾ year old well constructed male. Good head to handle, strong without being overdone in any way. Well put together in forehand with good length of leg and feet. Well let down in chest, good ribbing, firm in back thanks to his muscular hindquarters. Steady and sound on the move just preferred the overall fluency of Junior dog on the day. 2. Godfrey, Peacock & Hellmuth’s Shumllea Imagine A Dream 2 ¼ year old powder puff male. Good head to handle with dark eyes well set ears and full clean dentition. Long neck into moderate forehand for angles and toning. Deep in chest ample tuck up but a tad shorter in length of body than winner. Easy on the move being sound and controlled. Well presented in jacket to finish him. Pomeranian I was delighted by the overall quality and breed type in this entry. The exhibits showed many of the characteristics I look for in the breed and every handler is so well dressed, full of glamour and class, presented their exhibits in perfect condition, a pleasure to see and go over. P (5/0) 1. Campbell’s KLASSNA PRIME STAR AT DIEMZS 9-month-old male of beautiful breed type, with a lovely, well-shaped head and very appealing eyes with excellent expression and a pleasing, compact outline, with good bone and substance for his age. Superbly presented and shown with great confidence. I absolutely loved his movement— free, active and well balanced, maintaining his outline beautifully on the move. Correct in all the essential respects and a very promising youngster with great future. BP 2. Boyes’s POSHDONPOMS DREAM MAKER 10-month-old female of beautiful type, with a very attractive overall picture. She is so pleasant to look at, with good bone, a lovely feminine expression and a pleasing outline. Her coat is developing nicely and she was beautifully groomed and presented. She moved well, with good freedom and carriage, and showed herself very well throughout. A quality young bitch with plenty to admire. PG (4/1) 1. Hynes’s POSHDONPOMS TOUCH OF ANGELS 22-month-old female, very pretty and feminine, with an appealing breed type and a lovely head and expression. Good ear placement and a pleasing overall balance, with the compact, smart outline one looks for in the breed. She is a lovely mover, going freely and positively while retaining her shape and carriage. Beautiful outline and proportions, with a lovely tail carriage. Handled superbly and showing an excellent temperament throughout. A very polished and attractive young girl. RBOB 2. Boyes’s POSHDONPOMS EMPIRE DREAMS 10-month-old female with a lovely, typey head and an appealing expression. Good ear placement and a correct, developing coat, all contributing to a very attractive overall picture. Beautifully presented, she moved nicely with good freedom. I particularly liked her breed type and quality, although I would prefer a little more rear angulation to improve propulsion and balance behind. Nevertheless, a very pleasing youngster with considerable promise. O (3/0) 1. Boyes’s POSHDONPOMS SHOOTING STARS 20-month-old male of lovely breed type with so much to admire. A beautifully balanced, compact body with a superb outline and excellent ring presence. Correct, well-shaped head with a lovely expression, well-placed eyes and ears, and good tail set and carriage. Excellent coat condition, presented to perfection. He moved beautifully—with good drive and carriage, maintaining top characteristic outline throughout. A real showman, he fully deserved his top award Best of Breed. A very impressive Pomeranian and a worthy representative of the breed. 2. Campbell’s CH IN TIME POMS NEW BEGINNINGS AT DIEMZ (Imp BGR) 2-year-old female of outstanding quality and a type I particularly admired, feminine with a very pleasing head and expression, good ear placement and a lovely overall balance. Excellent tail positioning and a very attractive outline, giving her the a smart and compact appearance of the breed. She moves beautifully, freely and confidently, with good carriage and balance. Her quality and breed type is immediately apparent, and she was presented extremely well. This was a very close decision between two absolutely stunning examples of the breed, both showing excellent breed character and quality. A truly beautiful female who was a pleasure to judge. Shetland Sheepdog P (1/0) 1. Walker’s CUILSHELTIES TOUCH OF CLASS WITH GRANDGENES 9 months old beautiful bluemerle youngster with an attractive outline and pleasing overall shape. His head is of correct proportions, giving the desired balanced appearance, and he carries himself well on the move, covering the ground with a free, effortless action. The blue colour is particularly appealing and enhances his overall picture. At this stage he has much to admire and I hope he does not grow on too much, as his present size is one of his many assets. BP J (4/1) 1.Jackson’s KISHDIGRA AN IRISH BLESSING FOR CLAIRAVELLE (IKC) One year old sable & white female, well-balanced with good overall shape and proportions. Pleasant head and correct lines, correct ear set which she used very well, glamorous white markings. She was shown to perfection by her young handler. Although carrying rather more size throughout than I would ideally prefer, she is well balanced and moves soundly, making her a worthy class winner. 2. Walker’s TOORALIE’S VANITY PAYS Another one year old female, smaller in size, compact with good substance without coarseness, carrying the correct amount of bone for her size. Moved positively with a steady, economical action and maintained her outline throughout. I did find the merle background a shade darker than my preference, but this did not detract from her overall quality. PG (6/2) 1.Raaff’s STORMRAVEN SHADOSWIFT 21 months old sable & white female, with pleasing head and sweet expression, well-used ears and a correctly balanced foreface and skull. Well constructed with particularly good front assembly, supported by adequate bone, level top line, correct in size, presented in excellent coat and condition. Held a firm outline on the move and travelled freely with good reach and drive to secure the class. 2. Sorockyj’s SHELTISHA THE ONE AND ONLY JW 14 months old bluemerle male, still very much a youngster, well-made of pleasing shape with correct proportions and sufficient bone. Particularly liked his parallel front and rear action, good topline and balanced angulation, all contributing to sound, efficient movement. Attractive blue colour completed the picture. O (4/1) 1. Rowan’s Rowancrest Cinderella — A beautiful two - year old, bright sable and white girl who caught my attention immediately with her glamorous appearance. She is an ultra-feminine, very well-balanced, with lovely bone. Well constructed both in front and behind, she moves with excellent drive and purpose. A real showgirl, presenting her qualities exceptionally well today. the coat is of correct structure and groomed to perfection. Her beautiful topline, good length of neck and correct assembly combine to give a very pleasing outline, epitomising the elegant, feminine Shetland Sheepdog. BOB 2. Sorockyj’s Ch Sheltisha Royal Approval — 3 year old blue merle female of a different type, but one I admired greatly. A very feminine head with sweet expression and correct lines, well-placed ears. Very well balanced overall, with a very attractive and harmonious appearance. Would prefer slightly less black in her colour but the background is nice and silvery. She moved beautifully around the ring, A very high-quality exhibit with many excellent qualities. RBOB Collie (Rough) PG (5/4)1. Skinner’s Ladnar Makeithappen for Nikal A beautiful three-year-old blue merle male who, for me, stood out strongly in type, size and overall appearance. He has a very pleasing, well-balanced outline and presents a lovely picture overall. He moved exceptionally well, showing good freedom and purpose with a balanced, effortless action. I particularly admired his head, which has very good lines and pleasing proportions, with correctly placed and carried ears adding to the overall expression. He was beautifully presented, with a very good coat, lovely colour and overall condition. BOB. O (3/2) 1. Ross’s Siluto Blue Wizard at Amberwish Another very attractive three-year-old blue merle male and a very good mover. He has a lovely colour and excellent merle markings, which are beautifully distributed. Loved the overall shape and outline, with a lovely neck placement contributing to a very pleasing profile. His coat is of very good quality, with good texture and presentation, and he was shown in excellent condition. BOB
