Puppy (2,0)

1st: Brough & Mycroft’s Supeta’s Scarlet Witch For Aniiraz. A lovely brown puppy of nice square shape. Head is developing well. I’d like to see more length. Correct width of skull. Eyes are almond in shape. Small, neat ears. Moderate length of neck. Moderately laid shoulders. Upper arm rather straight at present. Forechest to develop and chest still to drop. Back is short and firm. Slightly sloping topline from withers to croup. Moderate turn of stifles. Low, firm hocks. Well filled croup and excellent tail set. Moved soundly around the ring. Really considered her for BOB, just a little less coordinated on the move but BP nevertheless.

2nd: Wilson’s Aritaur Incantation at Pursang. A larger bitch. Head is a little masculine but has good length. Eyes are almond in shaped and well set. Ears well set. Neck moderate in length. Good angulation fore and aft. Deep chest and level topline which could slope slightly more from withers to croup. Croup is quite well filled. Tail is well set. Sound.

1st: Adam’s & Springett’s Aritaur Hennessy. Bitch of nice size. Not really the correct shape to head. Top of muzzle is a little concave. Skull is slightly too rounded. Eyes are almond in shape. Neck moderate in length. Balanced angles fore and aft. Could be squarer in outline. In lovely condition. Moves soundly.

Open (4,2)

1st: Brough’s Aniiraz The Greater. An upstanding male. Masculine head with very strong muzzle. I would prefer a more elongated head. Skull is flat enough. Black nose. Eyes are almond in shape and moderately deep set. Ears are correct for shape, size and set. Neck of moderate length. Shoulders could be laid back more. Good return of upper arm. Topline firm and slopes from withers to croup. Looks sightly too short in body compared to height at withers. Deep chest. Well ribbed. Good turn of stifles. Well filled croup and excellent tail set. Sound mover. BOB

2nd: Adam’s & Springett’s Aritaur Lapis Lazuli. A nice size. Head is balanced but she has a slight dip in her muzzle. Flattish skull. Ears are ok for size. Lovely, elegant neck. Well laid shoulders and good upper arm. Quite long in body. Deep chest. Lower thigh is a little overly long. Tail set ok. Sound.

Leonberger

Puppy (2,0)

2 lovely puppies here.

1st: Charwin & Davies’ Jarno Bcoz Its My Time at Debbollinby. Super head with very typical development at this age. Lovely mask. Dark, oval eyes which super, kind expression. Eyelids are close fitting. Well set ears of good size and correct shape. Lovely arch to neck leading to very well laid shoulders and excellent return to upper arm. Lovely bone. Great in body for age. Firm topline. Super turn of stifles and lovely strong hocks. Tail is well set and reaches to hock and is carried perfectly on the move. In typical puppy coat. A superb, easy, flowing mover with lovely reach and drive. BP

2nd: Charwin’s & Davies’ Jarno Bcoz Lions Roar For Debbollinby. Out of the same mold as the winner. Many very similar qualities though just in a feminine version. Scores very well in head with excellent proportions and lovely dark mask. Great eyes for set, shape and colour. Of a nice shape in body, just standing a little bum high at present and not quite as flowing on the move as 1st just yet. Very promising young lady! Two very nice puppies indeed!

Junior (2,0)

1st: Glover & Dowthwaite’s Debbollinby Comedy Queen. A very good name for her. Quite nice size. Head is strong. Not such a kind expression as I like. Ok in neck. Moderate angulation fore and aft. Needs to broaden in chest and body. Good bone. Nice proportions. Sound on the move.

2nd: Glover’s Debbollinby Craftsman. Very similar to 1st and very little to separate them and very similar comments apply. Ok in head, again, I’d prefer a kinder expression. Nice overall shape and lovely condition. Ok for bone for size. Lots of maturing to do. Sound mover.

Post Graduate (1,0)

1st: Charwin& Bodle’s Debbollinby Charbella. A really good honest bitch. Feminine head with good skull and muzzle. Eyes are good for shape. Eyelids are close fitting. Ears are set on high. Lovely strong neck that flows nicely into well angulated shoulders. Lovely upper arm. Good bone for size. Deep chest. Ribs carried well back. Strong topline. Broad loins. Well-turned stifles and low set, strong hocks. Perfect tail set and carriage. Superb mover from all angles. Very nice and well handled. BOB
