Thank you to the Committee for the invite to judge this fabulous show, a great location, some lovely weather, friendly atmosphere, cake and beautiful dogs – what’s not to like. Thank you to my stewards Pauline and John who had been in the ring all day without a break, it was very much appreciated.

AV Toy Veteran (8 Entries, 3 Absent)

1. Vin’s Style Polly with Lafford (Lees) – 8 year old Maltese who was shown in sparkling coat and condition. Prettiest of heads with a gently rounded skull and deepest of dark nose pigment. Well set eyes with dark pigment and black eye rims. Nice reach of neck with good front and rear angulation. She moved round the ring with grace and ease keeping a nice overall profile with her head held high and an easy flowing movement.

2. Carolus Miss Elsie VW (Colavecchia) – close up to the winner was this pocket rocket of Blenheim Cavalier. She has the sweetest of heads and expressions with a well cushioned foreface and the darkest of nose and eye pigment. Nice flat skull framed by well set ears. Nice neck and shoulders and well bodied for her size. She powers round the ring keeping a pleasing outline. She never gives up showing and does everything to please her owner with a wagging tail.

1. Banacek Annalisa with Samorrey (Green) – 14 ½ month Bolognese who has a nicely proportioned head with large dark eyes and coal black nose pigment. Sweetest of expressions with a high earset giving a broad skull. Well boned and ample spring of rib with a level topline. She moved round the ring with a nice parallel movement using her well angulated hind quarters. Best AV NSC.

Affenpinscher Puppy (3 Ent, 0 Ab)

1. Carycares Hot To Go (Wildig, Wildig & Cary) – What a joy this 9 month old girl is a true Affenpinscher character who is most certainly lively and self-confident! At 9 months old she just the right size with a short straight body and perfect proportions and a rib that is nicely sprung and her coat is of great texture. She has the cheekiest of expressions with sparkling dark eyes and a nicely domed forehead. She moved out with such style and strutted round the ring as if she owned it. She just lost out on maturity for Best of Breed but was delighted to award her Res BoB, Best Puppy, Best Toy Puppy I was thrilled to see her take Best Puppy in Show where she truly owned the ring. A little girl with a very bright future.

2. Kirkara Elsie Tanner Dunningvale (Panton) – 6 month old bitch who is another that showed with such confidence. Nice head proportions with lovely dark pigmentation and sparkling eyes. Good straight front with nice bone. Well proportioned body and a slight tuck up. Coat developing nicely with a good harsh texture. Moved well round the ring keeping a pleasing outline from all angles.

Affenpinscher Post Graduate (2 Ent, 0 Ab)

1. Buffels Schwarz Spinne With Scapafield (Wiggins) - good size with pleasing head properties and expression, short neck, straight front, small feet. He has a compact body and a level topline and nicely caried tail. Nice coat texture and moved OK both coming and going.

2. Yorcrechi In Your Dreams to Kingshaven (Harrison) 3 year old who is a nicely balanced throughout with a pleasing head and expression and dark sparkling eyes. Ample neck and good shoulder placement and neat feet. Well angulated hind quarters and moved out OK keeping a nice outline.

Affenpinscher Open (4 Ent, 2 Ab)

1. Guereza Goody Goody Yum Yum (Panton) – what a cracker of a 2 year old boy who has a wonderful overall size and shape with a compact body of the right proportions. He has such a mischievous look about him with his sparkling eyes and well-set ears with a nice broad muzzle. Short neck leading into a straight front and well-placed elbows and excellent spring of rib. Nicely set tail that is carried to advantage and level back. He strutted round the ring as if he owned it and presented a lovely eye catching outline on the stack, a well deserved BoB

2. Datiro Forgibbon Fruit for Scapafield (Wiggins) – 22 month old girl who has a lovely expression with excellent eye and nose pigment and nicely set ears. Short neck and nice straight front, short back and nicely developing ribcage, well set tail that is carried perfectly over her back. Pleasing coat texture that is jet black in colour. Moved out well at all times with a good high lift in her front quarters.

English Toy Terrier (B&T) Puppy (1 Ent, 0 Ab)

1. Ettology Stand and Deliver (Pendlebury) – 6 ½ month boy who was shown in sparkling condition with his jet black jacket shining in the sun. Pleasing head an expression with a well proportioned wedge shaped head and small dark eyes and high well set ears. He has a long and graceful neck with a straight front that is narrow. Longer in body and loin so sometimes he looses his shape on the stack. Moved out well. Best Puppy and Res BoB

1. Regalriver Big Bad She Wolf (Marsden) – what a beautiful head and expression this 13 month old has, with a long narrow head and a slight stop and jet black nose and eye pigment. She has a sleek outline and that is cleanly built and nice fine bone. She has a shiny black coat and richly coloured tan with all the correct points. I believe she is getting over a fright and with that extra confidence I am sure she will continue to do well.

1. Witchstone Nasabe Strikes Back JW (Leonard) – what an absolute cracker of a young man this is, he was my star of the day as he put on a faultless performance. He has a perfectly wedge shaped head with a gentle stop and well filled under his dark black eyes that are of a nice shape. His skull is flat with perfectly set ears. He has such a long a graceful neck that is set on his well laid shoulders and a nicely developed chest for his age. He presents a lovely silhouette standing with curves in all the correct places. A gleaming rich tan perfectly sets off his lovely dark jacket what was presented in perfect condition. He glides effortlessly round the ring with his head held high. My notes just say that he is very special, with a fabulous temperament who gave his hander his all today. Couldn’t deny him BoB and ultimately Best Toy in a quality line up

2. Wykewoks Autumnal Sunsetta of Pendlethrine (Pendlebury) – 2 ½ year old who has a feminine expression with a good head shape and well off for muzzle proportions with nice dark eyes and her ears are well set on the back of her skull. Fine in bone with neat feet and well off for depth of chest. She presents a nice outline and covered the ground well. Shown in gleaming condition.

1. Newtonwood Rock With You (Carter & Chadburn) – masculine head and expression with a well defined stop and good head proportions with nice earset. He has a well placed shoulder and a good front with excellent bone. He has excellent hind angulation with well developed muscles and he moved round the ring with ease. Presented a balanced outline both standing and moving. BoB

2. Newtonwood Rock With Me (Walker) – pretty headed little girl with large dark eyes and the darkest of nose pigment. Well defined stop and good skull to muzzle proportions. Level topline with a slight rise over her line. Moved out ok just preferred the body proportions of the winner. Res BoB

1. Silhouettig S Lil Missouri At Laborghini NAF TAF – 6 month old black and white girl who was a little bit overawed at times but handled very sympathetically. She has the sweetest of heads that with a slight stop and dark bright eyes and ears well set. A long neck and well placed shoulders and sloping shoulders. Presents a pleasing outline and with a low set tail. Just needs to build in her confidence as that affected her movement at times. Best Puppy & Res BoB

1. Raising Venus Du Zephyr De Bizance Pendlethrine (Pendlebury) – 5 year old girl who presents a very clean outline on the stack. She has a very pretty head and expression large dark eye and a shallow stop. She has a good reach of neck and adequate shoulder placement. Well arched neck and a good rise over the loin and a low set tail. Moved OK.

1. Gemolli A Million Dreams JW (Henshall) – a lovely fawn girl who was shown in fantastic condition. Built on very graceful and elegant lines with the most feminine head with large dark and expressive eyes and excellent earset. Well arched neck with excellent shoulders that are long and sloping, her bone is ideal and has a nice deep chest. Well muscled hind quarters and a well bent stifle. She moves out with grace and ease a lovely quality girl. BoB

King Charles Spaniel Junior (1 Ent, 0 Ab)

1. Baldragon’s Shooting Star for Lizlanmor (Morley & Hitchcock) – a beautifully headed tricolour girl who has such a melting expression. Nice dome to her head, with a good ear set and lovely eyes which are limpid and dark. She has a moderate neck that allows a proud head carriage. Nice lay back of shoulder and a short cobby body. Loved her richly marked tan that was in the correct places. On the move today she wasn’t as clean in her hind action. BoB and Best Puppy

1. Bellablake Get Lucky (Clifton) – baby girl who has the sweetest of head with a nice broad skull and open nostrils and excellent dark eyes and a good width to her underjaw. Excellent bone and has a lovely short body and most certainly lifts up heavy. Well set on tail and moved well round the ring. Presented to perfection.

Pekingese Junior (2 Ent, 1 Ab)

1. Londer Black Infinity at Lizlanmor JW (Morley & Hitchcock) – 16 months old black who was presented in the most fabulous coat. He has an endearing head and expression with a good width to his skull and muzzle and well placed sparkling dark eyes. Clearly defined nostrils with the right amount of muzzle. Another nicely constructed boy who has a good body and deceptively heavy on the pick up. Enough neck and nicely made front quarters with good substance to his bone and moderate in rear angulation. He moved with a lovely gentle rolling gait and I was splitting hairs with him and his kennel mate. Res BoB

Pekingese Post Graduate (3 Ent, 1 Ab)

1. Shantallah Savanna at Lizlanmor (Morley & Hitchcock) - 13 month old girl who has the most endearing and melting expression. Nice broad skull and excellent wide nostrils and a good width between the eyes that are dark and sparkling. She is most definitely all girl and had the most endearing outlook and shown in moderate coat. Nice short neck and well boned forelegs, and short in body and good width to her hind quarters. She moved out with ease. With maturity I am sure she will trouble the best.

2. Yakee King of the Kop (Clifton) – lovely masculine head and expression on this 2 year old chap. He has a profuse coat of lovely condition and excellent front assembly. He has a nice outline standing and lifts heavy and in great body condition. Just needed to settle on the move today.

1. Lizlanmor Declaration JW (Morley & Hitchcock) – another cracking dog from this kennel. 3 years old and was presented to absolute perfection with hardly a hair out of place. His coat is pristine and of excellent texture. He has such a masculine head with a lovely dark mask and eyes that just melt you. He presents a lovely outline standing and is a pleasure to go over with everything in proportion and very well-conditioned. Loved his front construction with excellent bone and chest with his elbows close to his body. His body is of ideal proportions with a distinct waist. His hind quarters are well muscled which allows him to move with his slow and dignified gait, sound from all angles. He was pushed hard by his young kennel mate today but I just fell for his charms today, I am sure they will change places on other occasions. BoB and Toy Group 3

1. Penleve The Entertainer (Mcalinden) – well named 6 month old fawn who was a nice cobby shape and size and a lovely personality. He had a lovely head with good dark mask nice dark eyes and had a good width all throughout his head. He stood four square at all times presenting a nice outline with a nice neck and shoulders. Good bone and well angulated hind quarters . He moved out confidently keeping a nice shape BoB, Best Puppy and Puppy Group 4

1. Lazurniy Bereg (Poxon) – blue and tan smooth coat boy who has just turned 12 months. He has a pleasing head and expression with nice round eyes. Long arched neck and good shoulder placement and a nice depth of chest. Nice bone for his size and moved out steadily. Needs to develop more in body which should come with maturity

Russian Toy Post Graduate (2 Ent, 0 Ab)

1. Shishalee’s Sex Bomb (Codling) – a boy I have had the pleasure of judging as a puppy and is maturing nicely, at only 16 months I am sure the best is yet to come. A long haired red who is such a showman, smart and well schooled. Head of nice proportions with well placed ears and good pigmentation and tight fitting lips. A fabulous topline with a slightly rounded croup and a well placed tail. Moderately angulated in the hind quarters and parallel hind legs. He moves out confidently with such a positive action. Just love his personality and wasn’t phased by a different handler in the challenge. BoB

2. Beaconsfylde Antlia of Fennyfare (Welch) – long haired red who has a pretty head and expression with well set ears with slight feathering. Nice head proportions with a good length to muzzle and well defined stop. Nice body with a good front and rear angulation. Moved out well keeping a nice topline and tailset.

1. Grande Misterio I Love Love Lingkiss (Codling) – I have also had the pleasure in judging previously and I awarded her well then. Today she had to give way to her younger kennel mate as I she was carrying a fraction too much weight. Ultra feminine long haired black and tan who excels in reach of neck and correct shoulder placement. Sweetest of heads with a well rounded skull and well placed and fringed ears. Level topline and good tailset and she presents a nice outline both standing and on the move. Not as positive on the move today but still could’t be deined Res BoB

2. Omissilleb Nimbus at Benatone (Jackson & Jennings) – Maltese – loved the movement of this young chap that was effortless and free flowing, head held high giving such and impressive outline. Excellent head with limpid eyes and a masculine expression. He was shown in pristine coat and condition with silky hair that was of a good length. Pushed the ETT hard today.

3. Lizlanmor Declaration JW (Morley & Hitchcock) - Peke

4. Pufflepaws Somnis De Reis Gemadar (Boden) – young Chinese Crested who is so well balanced and put on a foot perfect performance. Always standing with an eye catching outline with a lovely body that is well proportioned. Has great presence on the move carrying himself well showing off a nice crest of neck and well balanced hind quarters. One to watch.

2. Benatone Love Locket (Jackson & Rycraft) – a little cracker of a Maltese who was close up to the winner. Loved her outline and attitude, she certainly catches your eye both standing and motoring round the ring. Shown in a lovely coat and condition and she is super pretty in head and expression with melting eyes. One who’s future I am sure is assured.

3. Poshdonpoms Love Story** (Sullivan) – Pomeranian – sable bitch who presented a lovely outline standing and on the move. Sweetest head and alert expression, fine muzzle, nicely placed and sized eyes and good earset and. Moved out confidently with a brisk and free action.

4. Penelve The Entertainer (Mcalinden) – Pug
