I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge at this lovely well run show, it had a great atmosphere. I would also like to thank my two stewards for keeping everything running smoothly and efficiently.

Class 31. Puppy

1st McNally's Notice Queen’s Gambit At Conekesheved (IMP SWE)

11 month sandy bitch, oozes femininity. Good low set, thin ears, large teeth with correct scissor bite and good eye. Moderate length of neck and good head carriage. Nice front with good depth of brisket, natural arch over loin and good tuck up. Good rear angulation. Correct well padded hare feet. Good tail set and carriage. Thick linty coat with nothing overdone, well presented. Moved round the ring with confidence. BOB & BP happy to see her go on to get BIS and BPIS.

1st Pearson’s Placido Musical Mission At Winoski

7 year old with masculine head and good sized dark eye. Good shape and length of head with correct sized, shape and set ears. Strong jaw. Good length of neck leading into well muscled shoulders and straight front. Well arched over loin with good spring of rib. Muscular rear with high set hocks. Good tail set and carriage. Well presented. Moved with drive and confidence. Really liked this dog for overall balance and outline. BOB

2nd Pearson’s Winoski Aemond

3 year old, another with masculine head and dark eye, strong jaw with good scissor bite. Nice length and shape of head, correct ear set. Good front and rear assembly. Slightly longer in body than 1st. Good coat and also well presented as were all from this kennel. Reluctant on the move today.

1st Pearson’s Winoski Rhaenyra

3 year old with feminine head, dark eye with nice expression. Good length and shape of head with correct ears, strong jaw with scissor bite. Straight front with well muscled shoulders. Neck of good length. Slight rise into well arched loin and good spring of rib. Correct tail set and carriage. Brisk mover. Just preferred outline and movement in my BOB. RBOB

2nd Pearson’s Zvonenka Hamentashen At Winoski VW (IMP CZE)

8 Year old feminine head with dark eye, scissor bite and good ear set. Straight front with plenty of bone and well muscled shoulders. Good length of body with arch over loin. Nice rear angulation and she moved ok.

Hoskisson & Hinds Fabio Z Medunkove Strane Za Icklewisp (IMP CZE)

17 month pepper dog. Masculine head with good proportions, large dark eye with melting expression, strong jaw with large teeth and correct scissor bite. Nicely set ears with thin leather. Profuse silky topknot. Well laid back shoulders with well let down chest and strong short forelegs. Presented a good outline with typical curves. Well set and carried tail. Moved with reach and drive. Weatherproof jacket, correct ratio of undercoat to topcoat and good pencilling. BOB

Hoskisson & Hinds Lenacourt Laird Rannech Of Ickleswisp

4 year old pepper dog, masculine head, large dark eye, strong jaw with good scissor bite. Well set thin ears. Good length of neck with strong forelegs. Slight rise over loin. Well muscled rear with good angulation. Good tail set but carries high. Moved ok. In excellent coat. RBOB

Kerry Blue Terrier

1st Dack’s Gaelgorm Leap Into The Dark

2 year old dog. Well developed muscular dog with good proportions. Typical Kerry attitude full of character. Long head with slight stop and flat skull, dark eye with good expression. Good size and set ears. Powerful jaw with correct scissor bite. Strong neck. Straight front with plenty of bone. Good spring of rib, deep chest and level topline. Good set tail but would prefer better carriage. Good straight powerful mover full of ring presence. In good coat. BOB and pleased to see go RBIS. 

2nd Rafter’s Rafscos Young Guns

13 month dog masculine head with dark eye, correct ear set and good length of head. Scissor bite. Straight front with good elbow placement. Level topline and good depth of chest, just longer coupled than 1st. Well angulated rear. Good tail set and carriage. Full of attitude and was slightly difficult to assess movement as there was only a few occasions when all four feet were on the floor. RBOB
