2nd. Adams’s Alolfrana Xclusive Party

Litter brother to 1st place and what a handsome young man this orange belton boy is, lovely head with oval eyes giving a soft expression, nice depth of chest and body for one so young , good bone and feet moved very well with level tail set

3. Lawsons Summerseve Cezanne JW

Open Dog or Bitch (13,4)

This was a difficult class to judge full of lovely dogs, a couple of my favourites lost out either due to being out of coat or lacked a little condition on the day

1st. Pearce’s Sh Ch Westonfields Frenchrunner

Substantial 3 year old blue dog, strong masculine head with the kindest of expressions, muscular neck leading to laid back shoulders , deep chested with wide ribs and short back. Super bone and feet..although this boy is not flashy or glamorous he presents a lovely balanced profile on the stack but it is on the move where this dog excels, he has plenty of animation with his head held high , an effortless stride & a level slashing tail

A super dog

2nd. Stephenson’s Mariglen Wave Dancer for Bondgate

Blue bitch with a lovely head, low set ears and a fantastic expression ! Dark oval eyes with so much mischief in them, she watched me all round the ring asking me to come back…lovely balanced profile with nice angulation both ends and good front, nice round bone leading to tight feet on which she moved energetically with her head held high and a lovely level tail which never stopped wagging

Presented in good coat and condition

3. Stewart & Quenby’s Tattersett Stolen Silver

Veteran dog or bitch (4,2)

1st. Wilson’s Sh Ch IR Ch Ravensett Giovanni

Hard to believe this orange belton boy is now 8… He is everything I love in an English Setter.

Medium size male with beautiful refined head , dark oval shaped eyes with the softest expression, low set ears, elegant neck leading to well placed shoulders , deep chested, moderate angulation both ends with nice short back,

lovely tight feet, solid top line and good tail set, no exaggerations just lovely flowing lines

He is an elegant dog who moves with ease on a decent stride covering the ground well with a level tail carriage .

Presented today in lovely coat and condition

2nd. Beasley’s Wansleydale Amaretto at Latjeata VW

Lovely blue belton & tan bitch who does not look 9 years old, she has a pretty well shaped head , dark expressive eyes and quite a comical expression on the day

She has a balanced frame with good reach of neck, deep body, good bone & feet, level top line and tail set , she was presented in lovely coat & condition.

She moves very well but today I could see she just wanted to go home for dinner and who could blame her

A very nice bitch and a credit to her owner
