Northern Griffon Bruxellois Club

Northern Griffon Bruxellois Club Open Show – Thursday 15th January 2026

Judge – Mrs Kelly Hampton Lee (Kelrick)

I would like to thank the Northern Griffon Bruxellois Club for the kind invitation to judge their 75th Anniversary Open Show and for the excellent organisation on the day. It was a pleasure to officiate at such a special anniversary show. My thanks go to my lovely stewards too – John Purnell and Jacqui Davies – who kept the ring running smoothly.

I was presented with a lovely entry of quality dogs with excellent temperaments. Overall, the exhibits were well presented and shown, making my decisions enjoyable but not without some difficult choices.

The Griffon Bruxellois is a breed full of character and personality, and this was very evident in the ring. I thoroughly enjoyed assessing them and was delighted with my final winners. Thank you to the exhibitors for their sporting acceptance of my decisions and for bringing their dogs.
