LARKHALL & DISTRICT CANINE CLUB

100TH ANNIVERSARY OPEN SHOW

27TH JUNE 2026

I would like to sincerely that the officers and committee for inviting me to judge your anniversary open show and for my lovely gift. I wish to apologise for the delay in submitting my critique, this was not by choice. I was very pleased with my entry number despite a person commenting upon news of my appointment that I would not draw an entry; it was the highest entry for Stafford’s that the club had attracted. A special thank you to my ring steward for the day and kept everything running smoothly. I would also like to thank the exhibitors who brought their dogs for my opinion, I really enjoyed the whole day!

Beautifully feminine, very pretty, red & White, pied, puppy bitch. I believe it was her first show and she definitely made an entrance! This little lady has a beautiful head shape, dark round deeply pigmented eyes, and a great ear set she has absolutely no excess flesh and is a super clean girl. She has good feet, good bone and enough substance and width of chest at this age. She has a nice outline, she moved brilliantly for her owner handler and gave me the expressive look I wanted when asked. A very raw puppy, however this aside she has all the attributes attaining to a Stafford and she did the business on the day. Well done a lot to like at such a young age thank you for bringing her. BPIB & a puppy group place to boot!

Red & White top drawer quality bitch. This young lady has the most beautiful feminine expression; one that completed the picture for me and eventually won her this class. She has a beautiful head framed by a good ear set, round dark eyes, clean lipped & pronounced cheek muscles; she has no excess flesh or exaggerations,. Her shoulders are muscular and firm, with no looseness, and not an ounce overdone. She was shown in super hard, fit condition. Her movement is spot on she has the correct angulations fore and aft and moved out with purpose and drive She is really nicely balanced and is an absolute credit to her owner/ breeders. Well done RBOB!
