I would like to sincerely that the officers and committee for inviting me to judge your open show. I wish to apologise for the lateness of my critique, this was not by choice. 16 mth old Black Brindle standard bitch of quality, stood alone in her class today, nevertheless she worked well for her owner handler. She has a beautiful head framed by a good ear set, round dark eyes, clean lipped, with pronounced cheek muscles. Her neck is strong; good lay of shoulders, with no looseness at the elbows. She has enough bone and strength whilst remaining feminine, correct angulations fore and aft and enough rib, good depth of brisket and width to her front, a good tuck up, excellent topline which she held on the move, correct tail set and tight feet, well muscled throughout. She was presented in fit condition. She is a very nicely balanced bitch and is a credit to her owner/ breeders. Well done.

Superb, black brindle dog, of immense strength, balance and type. He has reached veteran age and to me he has plenty to go at. He has a beautiful head and a handsome expression, dark eyes, correct ear set, well muscled throughout, he’s so balanced, his topline is level his tail set correct, he still has the teeth of a two year old, huge canines, and a perfect scissor bite. He is hard to touch on every part of his body, conditioned without any loss of shape. He was presented in super hard fit condition, and an absolute credit to his owner/handler. He has the most powerful rear quarters and his movement was effortless, he is a superstar and deserved to win this class, he went on to be my BOB, and later also won a veteran group place. Thank you so much for bringing him he made my day!
